James, Rose, and Scorpius gathered around Dagger, their expressions filled with curiosity and suspicion. James stepped forward first and asked, "Why did you ask me to inform my family and friends about Dumbledore's diary? And what is actually inside it? I know you're still hiding something from us." Rose folded her hands, equally concerned. "You told us about the gemstones, their powers, and how they turn into weapons when they choose their masters… but you never answered my important question."
Dagger blinked. "What question?"
Rose looked straight into his eyes. "How did the Red Gryffindor Diamond break? And how did its power split into two pieces?"
Silence fell before Dagger finally revealed the truth. "When the great battle happened… while ancestors of the creators who were saving people and fighting the Shadow-Claw Dragon of Varkon Blackshade, all the gemstones were connected through their masters. They merged their energies to forge a single powerful weapon. The Red Gryffindor Diamond holds greater significance than the others—it balances the energy of all gemstones, and its power is even stronger than the rest."
He continued, his voice softer now. "But the Gryffindor Diamond reacts to the soul of its master. During the battle, its master felt the Shadow-Claw dragon was innocent, only controlled by darkness. The diamond listened to that goodness. And while protecting its master and balancing the other gemstones, it transformed into the Ultimate Sword of Gryffindor. The power was too much… and the diamond shattered into two pieces: a larger one containing pure battle power, and a smaller one containing protection and healing power."
Rose stared at him in amazement. "Mr. Dagger… you know so much more than we ever imagined. How do you know all of this?"
Dagger sighed. "Because of my family. My grandfather Edward knew everything about the gemstones and their legacy. And I think…"
Scorpius leaned closer. "Think what, Dagger?"
Dagger hesitated for a moment. "I think the ancient powers may choose you three."
James, Rose, and Scorpius froze. "WHAT?!"
Dagger nodded firmly. "I already told you — the creators carried the personalities of their ancestors. The gemstones choose goodness, unity, and purity. Salazar Slytherin could not understand this, because darkness clouded his mind. But Seraphine Slytherin — a powerful wizard with a good heart — used dark magic only for peace and protection. When he learned the future, he hid the gemstone instead of giving it to his heirs, so that no evil could ever claim it. The previous masters were pure, strong, principled, and believed deeply in unity. And I see the same unity in all of you."
The trio blushed and smiled shyly. "We don't think we match their personalities… but thank you."
James took a breath. "So what now? Where do we go? And what was the point of informing my family about the diary?"
Dagger answered, "Because Dumbledore left clues about where to find the ancient gemstone weapons. Before he died, he told me he would leave a guide for the one who fits the prophecy."
Rose's eyes widened. "Prophecy? What prophecy?"
Dagger recited it slowly."The Heir of Gryffindor will rise. All ancient gemstone masters will awaken.Together they shall destroy the Evil Dark Magic King. And an unimaginable power will be formed."
He added, "These words were spoken long ago by Helian Hufflepuff to the founders' ancestors."
Everyone around them was stunned. Frank chuckled nervously. "Hearing all this feels like reading a suspense novel. Never thought I would be part of a magical adventure like this." Everyone laughed lightly, releasing the tension.
Albus asked eagerly, "So what's the plan now? And where is our destination?"
Dagger replied, "My family hid an ancient key in a bank years ago. We must retrieve it first. Only then can we unlock the door that leads to the map. The map is hidden again, guarded by a spirit who asks questions. After we get the map, we return to Hogwarts and reclaim the gemstones."
Bobby nodded. "Sounds like a long journey filled with challenges and hidden doors. But we're ready."
Dagger smiled. "You are great, Bobby. You listened to every detail."
Miss Mirael stepped forward. "I will guide you to the map. I know exactly where it is… but we need the key first."
James raised his hand. "Then let's begin the journey." He extended his hand forward, and everyone placed theirs on top. "Welcome to the team, Dagger."
Dagger bowed slightly. "Thank you, James Sirius Potter."
IN HOGWARTS,
At that moment, Miss Amelia joined them. "Before you leave, I must tell you — even I do not know the exact location of Dumbledore's diary. But there are two possible places."
Harry stepped forward. "Tell us both. We'll split the teams."
Ginny looked worried. "But if we leave now… what about Hogwarts?"
Miss Amelia reassured her, "Voldemort is already growing weak. The body he possesses cannot hold strength anymore. Many of his dark army were destroyed by James, Rose, Scorpius… and by Harry and his team. He cannot attack today. And even if he does, I will handle it. Minerva will assist me."
Professor McGonagall said proudly, "Always. I have already created a new magical protection around Hogwarts. You may leave without worry. But return before 10 PM tonight."
Miss Amelia revealed the two locations: Dumbledore's ancestral house and Dumbledore's farmhouse in the forest, which has a hidden library. "And remember," she added, "the diary is brown, with Dumbledore's signature on the first page and the Hogwarts symbol on the cover."
Harry nodded. "Yes. Thanks for the information."
Hagrid gave Miss Amelia a warm smile. "Thank you for standing with us in difficult times, Miss Amelia." She smiled softly. "It is my responsibility to protect Hogwarts."
With no time to lose, Harry divided the search groups:
Harry, Ron, and Hermione to the ancestral house
Neville, Luna, Draco, and Hagrid to the farmhouse
Miss Amelia nodded approvingly. "Perfect."
Within minutes, everyone mounted their brooms, rising into the sky as a united force. The wind howled around them as they headed toward their destinations, knowing they had only six hours before they had to return to Hogwarts. The mission had begun — the search for Dumbledore's Diary, the key to the prophecy and the fate of the magical world.
