Ashton deliberately made Ariana to sit in his office. He wanted to keep an eye on her...also stay closer to her.
Every now and then, he'd stare at her from an angle that she didn't realize..
She was just to attractive to ignore
She got a text on her phone that needed immediate attention.
"Sir, can I step out for a bit?" She asked obediently....
"Step out? Where are you going?" He asked, closing the file he was holding.
"Sir, it's a personal matter..I'll just handle it and return" she replied.
"It's your first day but your still slacking off" Ashton's voice was cold, and his eyes were fixed on her..
She had his complete attention, which was something that was hard to get from him. Ariana did it without even realizing.
" Sir, it's a humble and simple request," Ariana pointed out. This man was making a big deal out of sometjing small.
"Fine..I'll give you at most, 20 minutes, it you don't get back here within that time, I'll look for you" he threatened.
Whatever!!
"Got it" she replied before walking out, unphased by what he just said.
Isn't this what he wanted, to see her all obedient towards him....and only him.

Ariana's mom was bothering her again, she'd set for her a blind date....and the person was waiting for her already at a café nearby....she had only 20 minutes to send him back
The person waiting for her at the café was Samuel. He was her blind date?
"Samuel...it's you?" She asked surprised.
"I also didn't expect it to be really you Ariana" he replied standing up.
"How have you been? It's been long" Ariana asked.... giving him a slight hug.
After she rejected him,he left and disappeared, without saying a word.
"I've been well, you look better than the last time I saw you" Samuel replied as they both took their seats.
"Coffee?" He asked.
"No. ..I ... actually I can't stay for long here .. I'm working and my boss isn't that all kind" she replied.
"So again...you came here to reject me and send me away" Samuel pointed out.
Facts
"I'm sorry....but it seems that way" Ariana replied.
She wanted to leave quickly, considering Ashton's temper if he found her here with another man, he'd definitely do something to him, but Samuel wasn't giving up either.
"Ok then,let's catch up like two old friends,I'm sure you boss won't mind" Samuel said.
He would mind,he made a big deal out of a small issue, now this?

Aston counted the minutes, he was on the clock and when the time was up. He tried calling her but her phone was busy and she didn't pick up like he promised, he stood up and set out to look for her.
"Assistant CEO? Where is she?" He asked Lexie.
She didn't even know what to say.
"Coffee sir..she went out for coffee" Lexie replied, clearly scared.
"Where?" His voice was colder than usual.
"The café nearby...." Lexie replied.
He didn't waste any more time, he went to this café' he was told about.
The first thing he saw was Ariana.....busy laughing with some man.
So that was her personal matter she needs to take care of?
He got angry, he stormed into the café unannounced, straight to the table they were sitting.
"Mr Ashton?" Ariana was surprised to see him there, the look on his face said it all.
He grabbed her hand and pulled her out of her seat,wasting no time. He didn't even bother looking at the man she was with, he'd kill him.
"Let's go" he said almost dragging her out, but Samuel stopped him.
"Mr Kaur, we haven't been properly introduced," he said standing up as well.
"I don't need to know you" he replied, his grip on Ariana's hand tightening.
"Sir.. .I can explain what's going on here" Ariana tried to interrupt but it was pointless.
The men before her were trying to prove who was the better man.
"You can't take away my date like that" Samuel said something he shouldn't.
Date??
"These are working hours, and she's working for me, your date is cancelled" Ashton replied.
They were fighting over her.
"That's not for you to decide, she can talk for herself" Samuel was trying to touch her but he pulled her aside.
"Ariana,, make it clear to this man" he said.
"Samuel please, I'm working and I told you my boss won't take it well...I need to go" Ariana said before Ashton dragged her out of the café.
It was so obvious he wouldn't let her out of his sight again.
"Ashton, you're hurting me...." Ariana tried to free herself, but he was too strong.
He passed through the underground parking lot, straight to his executive elevator that would take them straight to their office.
"Some personal issues huh??! Ariana, are you testing my patience" he snapped at her, trapping her on the elevator walls.
"Ashton, I didn't know he'd be there, it was a coincidence" she replied to the cold man standing in front of her.
"Are you that desperate to get close to another man!"
Didn't he hear what she just said.
"Ashton... trying to explain things to you is pointless, you won't believe me anyway" she replied... turning her face away from his.
She was getting on his nerves.
"From now on.. you won't even leave this building without me....I hope I'm making myself clear"
It was so obvious he was jealous...
"Whatever you say, you're the boss" she replied, accepting defeat.
The elevator reached their office, and he immediately gave her work to do..
"There, the sky core project... you'll take charge and you can't leave until you come up with it's logo and sketch"
"What?!!" Ariana asked,that was too much for her...even a whole team would take days to finish that, yet he wanted it complete today itself..
"I'm serious. ..if you didn't go on this date of yours, coming up with silly excuses..... I'd be more considerate" he replied before he sat down....not sparing her a single glance anymore.
"It's so unfair..... you're trying to get back at me" she said.
"You accepted the challenge and signed the contract, don't waste your breath trying to argue with me... .get to work" Ashton simply said.....focussing his attention on his laptop.. He's just a mad man and clearly insane!!
