Genya glares at Sanemi through his fingers.
"You're enjoying this way too much."
"Of course I am. Now get out and try not to blush when you see your "not-boyfriends"."
He parks the car and turns off the engine, watching as Inosuke and Muichiro wave enthusiastically at them from Giyuu's car.
Genya groans again and reluctantly gets out, avoiding eye contact with Inosuke and Muichiro. Tanjiro hops out cheerfully.
Sanemi steps out and stretches, watching the chaos about to unfold.
"This is going to be a long day."
Giyuu answers Tanjiro's call while keeping an eye on the others.
"Hello, Tanjiro. Are you all here?"
Muichiro waves at Sanemi and runs over to Genya, ignoring Tanjiro's call.
Sanemi watches Muichiro cling to Genya, who's trying to push him away.
Inosuke rushes to join the chaos, shouting.
"GENYA!
Giyuu sighs at the commotion.
"They're already causing trouble."
Sanemi walks over to Giyuu, smirking.
"Your kids are more entertaining than my siblings."
Inosuke tackles Genya to the ground while Muichiro sits on his back, giggling. Giyuu smirks back at Sanemi.
"They're your students too, you know."
"Yeah, but I don't have to deal with them outside of school."
Nezuko finally speaks up, calling out to Tanjiro.
"Onii-chan, can we go play?"
"Sure! Let's race to the swings!"
Giyuu watches Tanjiro and Nezuko run off.
"At least Nezuko is behaved."
Sanemi leans against a tree, crossing his arms
"She takes after you. Quiet, beautiful and mysterious."
Inosuke manages to flip Genya over, both boys now rolling around in the grass while Muichiro laughs and records them on his phone. Giyuu chuckles softly at the sight.
"Maybe I should let Inosuke teach her how to be more energetic."
Sanemi raises an eyebrow.
"That would be a disaster waiting to happen."
Genya finally breaks free from Inosuke's grip, his hair messy and face flushed with embarrassment. Genya pants heavily.
"Inosuke, stop it! I'm not your chew toy!"
"BUT YOU'RE FUN TO PLAY WITH!"
Muichiro snickers and shows Genya the video.
Sanemi laughs heartily.
"Oh, this is priceless. I need a copy of that video."
Giyuu shakes his head disapprovingly.
"You're enjoying this too much, Sanemi. Anyway there fun fair in the near, should we go there?"
Sanemi straightens up, intrigued.
"Fun fair? Sounds like trouble waiting to happen."
"FUN FAIR?! YES! LET'S GO!"
The kids all cheer excitedly, except for Nezuko who just nods enthusiastically.
"I love fun fairs! Can we ride the Ferris wheel, Giyuu-san?"
Giyuu nods at Tanjiro.
"Sure, we can ride whatever you want."
Sanemi grins mischievously. He is trying not to have dirty thoughts about Giyuu riding "something".
"I'm going to win the biggest prize at those games. Just watch me."
The group starts heading toward the fun fair, with Inosuke already running ahead. Tanjiro catches up to Sanemi.
"Mr. Shinazugawa, can I try the strength test game? I want to beat your record!"
Sanemi smirks competitively
"Ha! You think you can beat me? Bring it on, kid."
Genya and Muichiro are walking behind, holding hands discreetly while Inosuke is already trying to sneak away to the cotton candy stand. Sanemi notices Inosuke's escape attempt and yells.
"Get back here, boar-head! No sugar until we're done!"
"BUT I'M HUNGRY!"
Muichiro whispers to Genya.
"He's always hungry."
Genya smiles softly at Muichiro.
Giyuu calls out to the group.
"Everyone stay together. We don't want anyone getting lost."
"Yes, Giyuu-san!"
Nezuko holds onto Tanjiro's sleeve as they walk, while Sanemi keeps a watchful eye on Inosuke. Sanemi finally catches up to Inosuke and grabs his collar.
"I said no candy first! You're going to make yourself sick."
"NO! I NEED SUGAR FOR ENERGY!"
The group arrives at the entrance of the fun fair, colorful lights and sounds filling the air.
"Wow, it's so bright and colorful! Look at all the rides!"
Nezuko points at a carousel with wide eyes. Sanemi lets go of Inosuke with a sigh.
"Fine, but only after we do the games. And you're riding the teacup ride first."
"YES! TEACUPS ARE MY FAVORITE!"
Muichiro pulls Genya toward the shooting game booth.
"Genya, let's try this one together."
Genya blushes but follows.
Giyuu smiles at the sight of everyone having fun.
"Sanemi, are you really going to try beating Tanjiro at the strength test?"Sanemi grins confidently.
"Of course. I need to maintain my reputation as the strongest teacher here."
Tanjiro steps up to the game, eyeing the hammer with determination.
"I won't lose easily, Mr. Shinazugawa!"
Giyuu stands beside Sanemi, watching the competition unfold.
"This should be interesting."
Sanemi cracks his knuckles and picks up the hammer.
"Watch and learn, kid."
He swings the hammer down with impressive force, making the bell ring loudly. The carnival worker announces he's won the highest score.
"Woah! That was amazing!"
Sanemi smirks at Tanjiro.
Your turn. Try to beat that.
The crowd around them starts to gather, drawn by the commotion. Tanjiro takes a deep breath and steps up to the game.
"I'll do my best!"
He lifts the hammer with both hands, his muscles straining as he prepares to swing.
Sanemi watches intently, secretly impressed by Tanjiro's determination.
Giyuu crosses his arms, equally impressed.
"He's gotten stronger since last year."Nezuko pull on Tanjiro's arm wanting to try it too Tanjiro looks at Nezuko with a gentle smile.
"Do you want to try, Nezuko?"
Nezuko nods eagerly. and her eyes are sparkling. Sanemi raises an eyebrow.
"Let her try. It'll be cute to see her attempt it."
Giyuu chuckles softly
"She might surprise us."
Tanjiro hands the hammer to Nezuko carefully.
"Be careful, okay?"
Nezuko takes the hammer and struggles to lift it properly. Sanemi snickers at her effort.
"Need some help, little one?"
Nezuko shakes her head stubbornly and tries harder, her face turning red with effort.
"Come on, Nezuko! You can do it!"
Giyuu steps forward to assist.
"Let me help you hold it properly."
He positions himself behind Nezuko, guiding her hands on the hammer.
Nezuko swings the hammer with Giyuu's help, but only manages to ring the bell slightly. Sanemi laughs heartily.
"Nice try, but it's still not enough to beat me!"
Nezuko pouts and looks up at Giyuu with puppy eyes.
"Giyuu-san, I want to win too..."
Giyuu pats her head affectionately.
"Maybe next time. Let's try something else."
Tanjiro kneels down to Nezuko's level.
"Don't be sad, Nezuko. We can share the prizes!"
Inosuke runs over, having escaped again.
"I WANT A PRIZE TOO!"
"Where are Muichiro and Genya by the way."
Sanemi looks around, realizing they're missing.
"Those two sneaky kids... Probably off causing trouble somewhere."
Meanwhile, Genya and Muichiro are sitting on a bench eating cotton candy together, sharing a single stick.
