Kaan was in the middle of his routine: punching sand for the Jade Palm Technique, stabilizing his Qi current, and studying formations.
"I think my Qi is stable enough. The next meridian is the Left Arm, so let's shoot some currents," Kaan thought while concentrating his Qi. He concentrated his energy in his Heart Meridian, since it was the closest viable point to the arm. He shot his Qi, but right about at the halfway point, the Qi started dissolving.
Kaan immediately shot another beam, but it wasn't enough. He tried again and again and again. After many determined tries, pop!
He smirked excitedly. "Nice, now I think I can use the Jade Palm Technique to some extent."
Right when he was about to head to the spatial ring store, his master showed up.
"Kid, don't go outside. A pest is trying to get rid of you," Master Chu said with a hint of worry in his voice.
But as he assessed the Kaan, he got suprised, "You opened up your Left arm meridian?"
"Yes Master. I have to go to outside now, i think i can handle some pests." Kaan said with confidence in his voice. As soon as Master Chu heard his student, a bright smile appeared in his face. "So let it be that way kid. Go." said his Master.
Kaan greeted his master and exit the building. As soon as he got out, he felt the danger, with the brink of an eye, he gathered his qi to his left arm, turned around quickly and
BAM!
Guy was out cold, his sternum, which normally is flat, had trace of his palm like a perfectly engraved motif. Kaan saw that and immidiately felt shock. "Oh my god. Did i just killed someone?" Kaan felt overwhelmed but quickly composed himself and declared to the crowd that was curious of what happened.
"I, Kaan from the westlands, student of the Great Elder Chu, declare that anyone who dares to mess with me, my master or my student-sister, i swear to heavens his/hers fate would end up like this!"
His master was looking down to the scene from the top of the building. As soon as he heard Kaan's declaration, he went down with a big grin in his face and declared that, "The person who is responsible for this attempt is Shu Branch Manager Zhuo, which you can see the report in my hand." He showed a letter that had enough proof of accusing Zhuo. "He will face justice as soon as possible."
He turned around and looked at his student with a satisfied smile in his face. " Good job kid, after you return from wherever you go, we will work on some refinement techniques." Master Chu said.
"Yes, Master," Kaan said as he started to walk towards the spatial ring store.
DING!
You have successfully defended yourself from an attacker using your cultivation.
Reward: Level Up.
Warning: If you use your cultivation to attack innocent civilians, you will be penalized.
"Nice, I will look at you later, now it's time to learn how to make a spatial ring," he thought while going to the store.
"Hello," said Kaan.
"Oh my, hello young master, what can I do for you today?" the woman said while quickly assessing Kaan. Her eyes widened as she checked his level. "You opened your Left Arm? How? You were just a Level 1 yesterday."
"I have my ways, so we got a deal, right?" Kaan said with confidence.
"Of course, let me just close the shop for today." The woman said, immediately firing the customers and closing up the shop. "Come with me to the production room, let's start now."
Kaan followed the woman to the back, and she started explaining. "Now, the first step to making a ring is choosing the right quality Jade Stone for the material. If you require a big storage, you need to choose a high-quality Jade Stone. Now, choose one."
Kaan was already somewhat experienced with Jade Stone from his UMA analysis, so he chose a mid-grade stone. "What happens after?" Kaan asked.
The Lady answered him with, "You need to convert your Qi to flames. This might be the hardest part for you. Imagine your Qi heating up as it comes out of your arm."
Kaan thought of this in a more modern way. "Heat is relevant to the vibrations of atoms. If I vibrate my Qi, I can increase the temperature," he thought. As soon as he tried to vibrate his Qi, he felt some heat from his palm. He focused more, and brushhhh!
He succeeded on his first try. "So modern physics works even interdimensionally," he thought.
The Lady, on the other hand, was utterly amazed. "Oh my Heavens, you actually succeeded on your first try? No wonder you are Elder Chu's first student."
"First student? I might have to ask that," Kaan thought. He lit a flame again. This time, he imagined the vibrations of atoms in his Qi, and vibrated the Qi more, until the flames in his left hand turned blue. "YES!" He screamed in his head. "This would be so much useful in the Aethel; I could weld with my own body."
The Lady continued explaining, "Now you need to heat up the Jade Stone and make it into the shape of the ring. To make the shape, after you melt the Jade Stone, you can use that mold right there." Kaan looked at the molds and measured his finger to match his size. He started the fire, made it blue, and started melting the Jade Stone on top of the mold.
As the Jade Stone melted, it took the shape of the mold and hardened up. "Now, you need to infuse your Qi inside of the ring and mentally shape a cube that's about 10 m³ for this mid-grade Jade-stone."
He focused, took a Qi replenishing pill, and started to infuse the ring with Qi.
Ding!
Congratulations, you made "Spatial Ring (Mid Grade)" for the first time
Extra rewards will be given when you return.
