As he practiced, he noticed that every item he put into his spatial ring converted to a pure Qi form with a unique footprint. "No way, can I make Qi-storage disk drives? It really is like Applied Energistics," Kaan thought. As a big fan of modded Minecraft and an engineer, he immediately recognized the high-tech potential of the concept.
He quickly scribbled some blueprints for his enhanced security protocols to give to the lady at the shop and left for his building. As soon as he arrived, his Master gave him a purification technique named Heavens Pure Heart.
"Read this, try to understand. After that, we will try to make some Qi Replenishing Pills," said Master Chu.
Kaan already analyzed the pill's composition: it was made out of Crystal Bloom, a unique flower that can hold Qi, and Essence of the Jade Stone, which was created by melting five Mid-grade or two High-grade Jade Stones together.
Kaan picked up the book, photographed it secretly, and started to read. After reading for approximately one hour, he dropped the book and looked at his Master.
"I'm ready, Master," said Kaan. The principles were simple: he had to extract the essence of the Crystal Bloom using his Qi, convert the Jade Stone into its essence, and mix them together in a certain heated cauldron. Failure would result in a black smoke.
Master Chu provided the materials. Kaan prepared his focus, recalling the precise temperatures needed.
Puff! A noxious black smoke came out of the cauldron. Puff! Second try, failure. Puff! Third try, failure.
After many frustrating attempts, ping! He heard a sound that resembled a pinball dropping onto a metal surface. He looked to his Master, who was smiling. Kaan understood that he had succeeded.
"Nice, kid," Master Chu said. "I can't even get surprised anymore. I have some business to do, so keep practicing." Master Chu then left.
Kaan immediately took the pill that he made and consumed it.

"So the Forum unlocked. Let's see what it is." He clicked and was asked to enter his nickname for the forum. He entered his old Minecraft nick, khan69 (yes, it was a childhood mistake), and pressed continue. As soon as he pressed continue, millions of posts appeared in front of him, asking different questions or containing various guides.
"So there are other interdimensional travelers," Kaan thought. "Before I forget, let me test the Qi disk drive concept." Kaan immediately scribbled his ideas in a notebook.
He tried different storage concepts, such as a hard-drive shaped mold into which he melted Jade Stone, or a modern SSD shaped mold. At one point, a lightbulb activated in Kaan's mind.
"Hard-drives and SSDs all have circuits and micro-cables inside them. I wonder if I can make a layered structure that I can paint the micro-cables and circuits with Jade Ink."
He took another Jade Stone, melted and poured it into a mold that resembled a hard drive, stopped at one point, and tried to replicate circuits with Jade Ink, he did this 4 times.
"Huff! Huff! Production is hard, i nearly exhausted all my qi." He said while gulping his own-made qi replenishing pill. He was one step close to completing the Qi Storage. Only thing that's left to do is making the storage room with my qi and installing the security protocol. At that point, he made another breakthrough.
"What if i use a qi stone for the qi and conduct it with Jade Ink, in the formations, i learned which shape sends the qi an which shape stops it." Kaan was cooking something incredible for this dimension.
After 2 weeks of seclusion and hard work. Kaan succeded.

At that moment, Kaan felt the surge of qi, attacking gently to his remaining meridians, opening them up and stabilizing.
"Hmm? Really?" Master Chu raised his eyebrow while feeling a surge of qi coming from his student's building. He rushed there and saw his student with bunch of scrap-looking shaped Jade stones, a Jade Ink path from the qi stones and his student in the middle of the breakthrough.
Kaan felt like he was in heaven, he felt like he was born again but at that moment, every inch of his skin started to sting like billions of needles stung him.
"AAAAAAAAHG!" Kaan screamed, his master was on standby. "C'mon kid, you can endure. It sure is painful, your entire body reconstructs itself with qi."
After who knows what time, Kaan woke up, feeling light. "You are up." Kaan strateled as he saw his Master.
"What happened? Was i attacked?" he asked. "No, you had a Natural Breakthrough, Congrats kid! You are now a foundation stage cultivator."
Kaan, with a shocked look in his eye, turned around to look to the mirror, "Is that me? Why am i taller, my scars are gone?" he asked himself. "Get some sleep kid, you need to rest, your entire body reconstructed itself." Master Chu said and leaved.
As soon as his Master leaved, he turned around to look hi Qi drives, they were emmiting a gentle light, he tested to put his other failed experiments inside, whoosh. They dissapeared, Kaan felt that they were inside the newly-made disk.
"Yes! I can't believe i invented a somewhat digital storage. This is huge." Kaan said as he was checking the forum. He pressed to a random article about space-travelling. As soon as he pressed, his eyes became so big that it nearly felt out of it's socket.
"WHAT THE HELL?"
