"Hurry up, get this one out of here!"
Two men dragged away the appraiser whose eye had just burst.
Yuto, the right-hand man, stared in disbelief:
"What the hell is your power?! What's your level?!"
Yagami answered with a mocking grin:
"It's just the same old Level Appraisal skill… and my level's still E, hehehehehe."
Yuto roared in rage:
"You're making fun of me?!"
He started to draw his sword—
Yagami raised a hand calmly:
"Wait, don't get worked up… I'll show you."
He turned toward Nami and activated his power.
A few seconds later, the guild leader collapsed unconscious to the ground.

Yuto cried out in horror:
"What did you do to her?!"
Yagami replied coolly:
"I took her power. I started this game as an E-rank, remember?"
Yuto, voice shaking:
"Then how… how did you level up so fast?!"
Yagami continued:
"I ripped out the eye of the Thousand-To King and offered it to a god.
In return, I asked for an eye that steals the power of others.
Its name is 'Greed.'"
Yuto shouted:
"Thousand-To?! What the hell is that?! I'm not buying your lies; that place doesn't even exist!"
Yagami shrugged:
"You idiot. You still don't want to believe what my level is.
I'm not just a level appraiser anymore."
Yuto, terror creeping in:
"You mean…!"
Yagami laughed:
"That's right. Right now I'm a swordsman, a mage, and a marksman all at once."
Yuto swallowed hard:
"So… your level is S?"
Yagami's grin widened with pride:
"S-rank? Hahaha… You really think an S-rank could strip another S-rank this easily; in front of all these people?
To mock him, Yagami added:
"I'm a god now."
At that exact moment, the air grew thick and heavy.
The Top Floor King's servant materialized.
Everyone except Yagami dropped to their knees in fear.
The servant's voice boomed:
"You called yourself a god?!"
Yagami lunged with his sword, but the servant caught the blade between two fingers.
Yagami laughed:
"So one of the Top Floor King's servants is this strong?"

The servant's fist smashed into Yagami's face.
Yagami flew through ten buildings and crashed, bloodied.
The servant loomed over him:
"You can't even dodge a punch like that… and you want to fight the Great Lord?"
Yagami opened his eyes.
His left eye turned crimson; a strange aura exploded around him.
The servant punched again; this time Yagami sent him flying five houses forward with a brutal kick, caught him mid-air, lifted him, and hammered him with a devastating punch.
The servant blocked, but it was useless; he slammed into the ground, blood pouring from his mouth.
Yagami hovered in the sky.

He dove downward, but the servant raised a hand:
"Holy Shield!"
A green barrier appeared and absorbed the impact.
Yagami, surprised:

Cracks spider-webbed across the Holy Shield.
The servant panicked:
"Master… lend me a little more of your power!"
The Top Floor King's voice echoed:
"I'll give you a fraction… but if you lose, your punishment will be severe."
The servant's power rose to match Yagami's.

He began pushing Yagami back. The shield between them shattered.
Yagami laughed:
"Now this is going to be fun!"
The servant dropped the shield and unleashed an ultra-fast flurry of punches.
Yagami was hurled backward, slammed into walls, barely dodging; blow after blow raining down.
In that moment, bitter memories flooded Yagami's mind; every humiliation, every abandonment.
He snarled to himself:
"I can't lose here… I didn't come all this way to be a loser again… Time to unleash my true power!"
Yagami activated 80% of his strength.
His eyes turned pitch black. The servant was blasted backward.

"Where do you think you're going?! You carry my power, yet you still can't beat him. Win… or die right there!"
The servant begged:
"Master… if you give me just a little more power, I can—"
The Top Floor King cut him off with a single cold word:
"You're still weak."
