I was beginning to question my life choices. Like what the fuck am I even doing here!?
Want a quick run down of how the meeting is currently going?
Charlie: So here is my idea-
Fat Guy: Aye chill. Let's get to know each other. Names Adam. First man. This bitch next to me is Lute. Blah, blah, blah.
Charlie: Ok, so what is the number one problem we are currently dealing with right now!?
Adam: Herpes? Math? Ugly people? Ten more minutes of blah, blah, blah.
Two hours later.
Adam: I get so much pussy. Women are begging for my big dick. Another hour of blah, blah, blah.
That's essentially how the meeting had gone so far. It got to a point where I leaned back in my chair with my feet on the table and passed out.
I was jolted awake by Charlie singing about her hotel and Adam talking about how exterminations were "fun".
I just rolled my eyes and rolled my chair over to where Lute was standing and decided to interrupt her before she could join in singing with Adam.
"Sup, Lute. Beautiful name, by the way. I bet you look just as beautiful as your name sounds underneath that mask."
Lute gave me a look of pure disgust. She flew up to put her face in mine. "Be grateful I'm not here in person to butcher your ass, demon filth."
I couldn't help but smile as I inched my face closer to hers. "I would love to see you try, sweetheart."
"You son of a-"
Before she could finish her sentence, I heard Charlie yelp. I quickly looked over to see her falling over as she was being pressured by Adam to the doors behind her.
I Immediately appeared behind her to catch her from falling and picked her up in a princess carry. Charlie opened her eyes and looked up at me. She blushed the moment she realized how I was holding her before whispering a "Thank you" to me.
I gave her a simple nod before looking up at Adams fat ass flying in the air before baring my teeth at him. "You done, big guy?"
Adam simply smirked at me. "Yep! Oh, by the way, princess. We will be having another extermination in six months. You can leave now!"
Upon hearing this, Charlie jumped out of my arms and stared in shock at Adam.
"You can't be serious! Why!?"
"Ah ah ah! As I said, you can leave now. He's the one we need to talk to." Adam said, pointing at me.
"Huh? X2" Charlie and I replied at the same time.
Adam just smirked and flew back to his seat before waving Charlie off.
"Wait downstairs for me, alright? It's obvious he won't let you talk anymore." I said to Charlie. A slight frown appeared on my face while worry appeared on hers.
She looked up at me with a sad expression on her face before nodding and walking back to the elevator doors. Once they closed, I turned back to Adam.
"So," I began, "What's so important that you needed to talk to me privately?"
"We know you killed our exorcist." Adam flatly spat out.
"Oh? That's quite an accusation there. Got proof?"
"I think the 40 exorcists you thought you killed say so."
"I believe it was 44."
"Shut your mouth, you-!"
"Demonic filth?" I cut Lute off with a sinister grin appearing on my face.
"Enough! We know you killed our exorcist." Adam interrupted.
"Kind of hard to say I killed them when they're obviously alive, yeah?"
"Oh, you're right." Adam said, nodding his head. "I believe I meant to say your FRIEND killed our exorcist."
The moment he mentioned "friend", all emotion left my body. Making my face expressionless. "I do not know what you are talking about."
"HAHAHA! Look at your face! Not in the mood to banter now, are we!?" Adam laughed hysterically as he mocked me.
"What are you talking about? I am the one who killed your exorcist. You must be mistaken about something."
"Wow, talking properly now. You must be really upset! We already got proof from the exorcists that returned after you "erased" them. I just wanted to see your reaction! Given how you saved her and all."
I did not respond. I could feel the veins beginning to bulge on my neck and temple.
"As I said to the princess, we are going to start exterminations in six months! Twice a year now! And it's all your little friend's fault. I'm going to make sure that she is the first sinner I kill when the next extermination happens." Adam said with a bright, genuine smile on his face.
My purple aura started to flare around me, causing the entire room to start shaking. This bitch really dares to talk about targeting Carmilla in front of me? And has the nerve to gloat about it!?
"I can see you're getting upset about this." Adam laughed, "Don't worry! I'll make sure to kill her off slowly along with those two demon girls that were along with her in front of you!"
Hearing him laughing so joyfully about killing Carmilla and her daughters caused something to snap inside of me.
I immediately transformed into SSJ1 and brought my staff out. Ready to go into combat.
"I would like to see you try. Hollow Purple. " I calmly spoke as I snapped my fingers in Adam's direction and everything in front of me was erased.
I stood there, floating in the air, the entire room and side of the building was gone. Hollow Purple had traveled multiple city blocks, erasing everything it touched.
Adam and Lute were perfectly fine. Unbothered by the massive ball of destruction that was sent towards them.
"Wow," Adam said, "So that's how you erased them! Not anywhere close to as good as me, though! I guess you got so mad that you forgot we aren't actually down there in hell, huh? HAHAHAHA!!!" Adam burst out laughing. Laughing so hard he held his jiggling stomach.
"Anyway, I said what needed to be said. See you in six months! I can't wait to see the look on your face as I kill your friend!" Adam said with a sinister grin before him and Lute disappeared.
I stood there for a solid ten minutes before I finally depowered. I ended up taking the elevator down to the lobby floor where I saw Charlie pacing back and forth. Nervously chewing on her fingernails.
The moment she saw me exit the elevator she tackled me with a big hug, practically breaking my ribs.
"Julius! What happened!? You were taking a while and suddenly the building shook a lot! I was worried Adam did something to you!"
"It's fine." I said, returning Charlie's hug. "I just lost my cool. That's all."
I gently pushed myself away from Charlie as I knelt and met her face to face. Giving her the best, honest smile I could give her in this moment.
"Let's go back to the hotel. It's been a long day."
POV Sera
I was standing in front of the window overlooking all of heaven from the conference room. I turned around as I heard a knock on the door.
"Enter."
I saw Adam and Lute walk into the room, bright smiles adorning their faces.
"How did the meeting go?" I asked.
"HAHA!!! It went great! I got vent all my nagging issues to that no body's daughter for, like, hours!" Adam said excitedly.
I could not help but hold my head with one hand and sigh. "Adam, I meant the demon with the staff. Did you get him to bring it out?"
"Oh, yeah. I did. I have to say that my girls were right. I felt divinity from that staff. Yet it also felt super ominous. Were you able to sense anything?" Adam asked Sera.
"Yes, I did. The divinity coming from the staff does not seem to be native to this realm. The ominous feeling you sensed came from the seven gemstones that adorned those serpents mouths. Each stone represented the seven deadly sins. The sinner himself seemed to be strange. The moment his hair changed his demonic energy doubled instantly. It is concerning that such an artifact and power is being possessed by a sinner."
I could not help but sigh again. This was clearly unprecedented. I agreed to Adams idea of the exterminations due to the increasing threat Hell was becoming. And after years of exterminations going smoothly, suddenly an exorcist was killed. Directly tied to a sinner with a divine artifact not of this world with strange powers.
I turned back to the window to overlook Heaven again.
"Adam, Lieutenant Lute. Make sure to obtain that staff in the next extermination, no matter what. Understood?"
