Chapter 28 - Apologies and the festival

"Those sick bastards... they've been recording everything we do in this room." Giyuu watched silently, his hands trembling slightly as he processed the invasion of their privacy. The two weeks of detention had passed, and Giyuu and Sanemi were back in their room, though the tension between them remained thick. Sanemi was sitting at his desk, working on homework while Giyuu organized his belongings. Sanemi shot up from his chair, eyes blazing with anger.

"What do you want? Come to laugh at us some more?" Giyuu remained seated, watching the situation carefully. Muichiro stepped forward hesitantly. "We came to apologize. We went too far with the prank." Genya nodded, looking genuinely remorseful.

"Yeah... we didn't think about how serious it would get. We're really sorry." Sanemi scoffed, crossing his arms.

"Sorry doesn't cut it. You two are dead to me now." Giyuu finally spoke up, his voice cold.

"What exactly do you want from us?" Muichiro glanced at Genya, then back at them. "We want to make it right. We'll help you however we can." Sanemi laughed bitterly.

"Help? You've already done enough damage. Get out before I make you." "Sanemi, please calm down. Genya is still your brother." Sanemi's eyes widened with fury, turning to Giyuu.

"Don't you dare defend them! My brother betrayed me too. He helped spread those videos." Genya flinched at Sanemi's words, looking hurt. Giyuu stood up, trying to mediate the situation.

"We can't just dismiss this. They need to understand the consequences of their actions."

Muichiro looked increasingly uncomfortable, shifting from foot to foot. "We really are sorry. We'll take any punishment you give us." Giyuu sighed trying to calm his boyfriend down. Sanemi slammed his fist on the desk.

"Age doesn't excuse what they did! They're old enough to know better." Giyuu sighed, realizing this conversation wasn't going anywhere productive.

"Let's talk about this tomorrow. When everyone's calmer." Genya chuckled and shake his head. "Don't forget, Giyuu. Tomorrow is the Valentine festival. Shinobu will let you both play some acts and let wear you silly things." Sanemi groaned at the reminder, his anger temporarily replaced by dread. "That stupid festival... I forgot about it. Why would Shinobu even let us participate after what happened?" Giyuu rubbed his temples, clearly not looking forward to it either. "She probably thinks it's a good way to get back at us. Or maybe she's just being her usual sadistic self." Genya tried to smile encouragingly.

"It might actually be fun... if you two stop being so grumpy about everything." Sanemi shot him a withering glare. "Fun? Wearing ridiculous costumes and being paraded around like circus animals? Yeah, right." Muichiro chimed in with a mischievous grin. "Shinobu has some interesting costumes picked out for you two. Especially for Giyuu." Giyuu's eyes narrowed suspiciously. "What exactly does that mean?" Muichiro shrugged innocently, but there was a glint of amusement in his eyes.

"Let's just say she's planning something... girly."

Sanemi burst out laughing despite himself.

"Now that's something I'd pay to see. Giyuu in a dress." Giyuu looked mortified at the thought, his face turning slightly red.

"I'm not wearing a dress. I refuse."

Muichiro smirked. "Shinobu has ways of making people do what she wants. You'll see tomorrow." Sanemi's mood improved significantly as he pictured Giyuu's potential embarrassment. "Oh, I'm definitely going to this festival now. This could be entertaining." Giyuu shot him a betrayed look.

"You're enjoying this too much, Sanemi." Sanemi leaned back in his chair, a smug grin on his face.

"Of course I am. After everything that's happened, I need some entertainment."

Muichiro and Genya exchanged amused glances. "Don't worry Giyuu, we'll help you escape if it gets too bad." Giyuu looked between the three of them with growing concern. "I'm starting to think this festival might be a trap. For both of us." Sanemi stretched lazily, still grinning. "Better you than me. I'll just sit back and enjoy the show." Muichiro checked his watch.

"We should probably leave before Shinobu finds out we're here. She might try to make us help with preparations." Genya nodded quickly, looking nervous at the mention of Shinobu. "Yeah, good idea. See you tomorrow at the festival!" They hurried out, leaving Giyuu and Sanemi alone once again. Sanemi's laughter faded as the door closed. "So, Giyuu... how much do you want to bet Shinobu has something humiliating planned for me too?" Giyuu gave him a deadpan stare.

"Knowing her, probably something worse than a dress." Sanemi's expression turned thoughtful, then worried. "Damn it. You might be right. I should start preparing for the worst." He stood up and began rummaging through his drawers, looking for something suitable to wear. "I take a shower than." Sanemi paused his search, glancing at Giyuu. "Yeah, go ahead. I need to figure out how to avoid whatever Shinobu has in store for me."

He pulled out a spare uniform, examining it critically. "Want to join? I mean we are dating and- never mind! God it is so embarrassing..." Sanemi's cheeks flushed slightly, but he maintained his composure.

"Not tonight. I need to focus on surviving tomorrow." He turned back to his uniform, though his ears were noticeably red. Giyuu smirked at Sanemi's flustered state. "Fine. Your loss. Don't say I didn't offer when you're stuck wearing whatever ridiculous outfit Shinobu picks." He headed towards the bathroom, deliberately swaying his hips. Sanemi watched him go, then threw a pillow at the bathroom door.

"Tease." The sound of running water could be heard as Giyuu started his shower. Sanemi sat back down, muttering to himself while trying to ignore the temptation of joining Giyuu.

"That bastard knows exactly what he's doing..." The steam from the shower began to fill the air, and Sanemi found himself becoming increasingly distracted. "Damn it, Giyuu... this is why I can't focus on escape plans." He stood up abruptly, pacing the room to distract himself from his thoughts.
