Chapter 13 - Chapter Thirteen: Vadir

On the front lines, due to the almost complete damage to the Death Watch's weaponry and the lack of aerial reinforcement and ground tank advancement, the entire Death Watch suffered heavy casualties from the explosion of their arsenal, as it was right next to their barracks.

Those who survived were also severely struck by the frontal assault, leading to the annihilation of half of Sundari's Death Watch.

Seeing that the tide had turned, many Death Watch members chose to surrender; these individuals were taken away for investigation, making the subsequent recovery efforts in Sundari much simpler.

However, this only meant they could directly confront the Death Watch's frontal forces in Sundari, so it was crucial to quickly reach an agreement with the legitimate Mandalorians and acquire more equipment to fight the Death Watch.

"That was a perfectly executed sneak attack, Kote," Satine said to the eleven-year-old super youth after the battlefield had largely quieted down.

Obi-Wan, who had been by Satine's side, also praised Kote.

"Perhaps, but the result is good, so we can finally confront the Death Watch on the front lines, but we still need more credits and minerals to purchase equipment," Kote said, scratching his head, wanting to expand the military.

"Discussions have already been held with the Council, and they have agreed to purchase more equipment this time.

Furthermore, people have witnessed the power of the viking fighter, so the Council will acquire more viking fighters."

Following this great victory, Satine and her Council agreed to allocate more credits for new weapons and equipment.

"Alright, I'll head to Vadiel right away to bring the equipment back," Kote was overjoyed.

After all, buying equipment was essentially for his own credits; he could sell everything he currently had, and then use those credits to buy more minerals to build new viking fighters.

He could even bring the wraith fighters for demonstration; even if they didn't sell, he could use them for training.

Kote, accompanied by a group of completely trustworthy companions and family, headed to the hangar to board a kom'rk-class fighter bound for Vadiel.

"Boss, are we heading to Vadiel this time?" Omen asked from the side.

Since Kote had only brought his own people and no New Mandalorians, Omen guessed they were going to Kote's fief, Vadiel.

"That's right, we're bringing our new equipment to Sundari this time.

We need to liberate all of Sundari as quickly as possible and free the Mandalorians of the Kyber System, otherwise they will continue to live under the shadow of civil war," Kote explained.

"Is it the viking fighter?!" Lei asked excitedly, as he had long wanted to pilot a viking fighter.

That thing was perfect for Mandalorians; it could fight in the air and transform into a mech for ground combat.

"Besides the viking, you'll also see a new type of fighter.

That thing will surprise you!" Kote told them about the existence of the wraith fighter but didn't fully reveal it, as a little mystery was best.

"Can the new equipment transform too?!" Lei was overjoyed.

"No, but it will have other functions," Kote said ambiguously, still not revealing its exact appearance.

Omen pressed down Lei, who was about to ask more questions.

"We'll be there soon.

You'll see it for yourself when we arrive.

Don't you want to leave yourself any suspense, kid?"

"Alright."

Soon after, they arrived in the skies above Vadiel, and at this time, the hyperion's adjutant on Vadiel sent a communication to Kote.

"Commander, I have sent the hyperion's coordinates.

Please park at the starport."

"Okay."

The ship automatically docked at the starport, and as soon as they disembarked, the group was like elementary school students on a spring outing, touching this and looking at that.

"These are robots I've never seen before!

Boss, there's even a starport!" Lei exclaimed excitedly, looking at the unmanned SCVs directly controlled by the adjutant.

"Didn't you see there are five viking fighters over here!" Omen shouted, calling others to look.

"They really are like a bunch of kids.

Oh, no, they are indeed of middle and high school age, and I'm only eleven myself."

Kote looked at his happy brothers and felt equally happy, even forgetting that he was the youngest child among them.

At this moment, an SCV walked up to Kote.

"Commander, new viking fighters are currently being built in the starport, but with our current scale, we can only supply a maximum of twelve viking fighters and twenty-four wraith fighters.

Given the current situation, this is the best combination.

Of course, we can also develop and build vagary frigates based on the blueprints left by the Foundation.

I will modify it according to the technology of this Galaxy."

"vagary frigate? I never knew such a thing existed," Kote had never heard of this frigate.

"The vagary frigate was a brand new vessel brought by the UED at the time, and later the Terran Empire modified it into the Liberator gunship," the adjutant explained.

"Then isn't it very small and outdated?" Kote understood roughly once he heard it was the pre-modification Liberator.

"No, Commander, the vagary frigate is 300 meters long in total, carries twelve fighters, and with the weapon systems of this Galaxy, it will become a powerful aid in your liberation of the Galaxy.

Moreover, with current production capacity, it can be completed in approximately one year.

During the construction process, I will expand the entire base to cover the entire moon and build more starports and heavy factories."

"I'll leave everything to you for now, Adjutant.

The Mandalorian civil war is not yet over, so these matters can only be entrusted to you."

Kote, feeling it was a good plan after hearing it, let the adjutant handle it.

"It is all as it should be, Commander, but I must first modify the blueprints to ensure all ships conform to the equipment of this Galaxy."

After saying this, the adjutant controlled the SCVs to continue construction and transportation.

"Boss, we found the new ship you mentioned!

That thing is cool," Lei ran over to Kote.

"Then I'll let you all see this new thing," Kote said, directly boarding a wraith fighter.

The wraith fighter rapidly ascended into the sky.

Inside the cockpit, Kote pressed a button, and the fighter outside instantly vanished, as if it had never existed.

"This is an invisibility function!" Omen exclaimed.

"With this, we won't have to go into enemy territory to plant explosives anymore!

We can just wipe them out directly," Lei immediately recognized the fighter's advantage.

After demonstrating the wraith fighter's functions to everyone, Kote deactivated the cloaking and landed.

"How about it? This fighter is absolutely suitable for our current situation."

"So, are all these yours, Boss?" Omen asked, puzzled.

"After the civil war ends, this will be home for all of us in the future.

Once the New Mandalorians are victorious, we will leave Mandalore.

The post-war pacifists will not let us stay there for too long; our military buildup does not align with their political demands," Kote explained his post-war plan to his closest brothers.

"Boss, we will all follow you, but how will we develop in the future?

Will we just farm on Vadiel?" Omen voiced the thoughts of the others.

"No, this will be our home.

In the future, how you develop is up to you.

You can do anything you want, but just remember this is your home," Kote gave everyone the choice to be themselves.

"No matter what, I'm following Boss!" Lei was the first to respond, and then the others also responded, pledging to follow Kote.

"Yes, just follow Boss Kote!"

"Who cares about pacifists or the Death Watch, just follow Boss Kote!"

"You guys have moved me.

I will definitely find a way out for everyone, and now you need to start training your piloting skills.

We'll train here for a few days, then take all these fighters back.

And by the way, move the other people from Sundari to Vadiel, otherwise, if a full-scale war breaks out, all of Sundari will become a battlefield," Kote commanded Omen.
