After they both resolved their differences , Henry assured Abigail of paying the sum of money Mr Hugo gave to them ,as money wasn't the problem,and immediately reveal the secret of their relationship to him and he doesn't accept they won't mid going to court all of this was their plan of getting behind trouble and setting their self free from the favour they owed Hugo Renard.
"And where have you been all night girlie " Betty asked walking into her room and standing by the threshold
" I had gone to meet a friend " Abigail replied smiling as her mood hasn't been so lovely and lively in a long time.
" Are you sure dear I wasn't expecting you to spend the whole night at a friend's place ,and that friend do I maybe know him or her " Betty asked walking close and sitting on her bed in her room close to her .
" Don't worry about that mum , everything is going to be just fine,you know what guess " Abigail said childishly holding her pillow close to her body and smiling at her mum
" Let me think , ah you are pregnant " Betty said looking curious
" No mum " Abigail laughed " in such short notice but anyways let me tell you I have gotten a job , guess who's my boss " Abigail added happily trying to make that one cute and convincing facial expression
" I don't know just tell dear , I'm very happy for you dear it's good to be independent " Betty answered happily as it was a good news indeed
" Okay his name is..... Business tycoon Henry Whitmore" Abigail said by so putting an end to the suspense
" O my dear I'm so happy , Henry hired you .wait don't tell me it's at his new company" Betty asked happily
" Yes mum I would be having my own office or should I say special cabin by next week and I'll also be his personal assistant ,part time " Abigail said to her mother giving her a warm and over whelming hug
" I'm happy you finally have a job , I would say as a woman even if your husband is rich you should be a boss of your own ,it's such good news " Betty explained discharging her self from the hug.
"Yes mum and I'm indeed happy ,he also constructed a little guest house and Inn for his worker's incase they want to spend the night over " She added stretching her legs
"It's a good infrastructure but don't forget you have a family and a husband. A woman's duty is to build the family and I hope you don't forget that " Betty cautioned her sweetly
" Yes ,yes I won't forget my duty don't worry everything is going to be good "Abigail said stoping her mother from extending the lecture
"Sister ! , Brother in-law is here he wants to take you home " Tom B said as he came to meet his mother and sister talking about some adult issues as he was still a young teenager
"Okay "Abigail replied and packed her things giving Tom B her baby brother a kiss on the head before leaving the house and entering Hugo's car .
There was bitter silence in the vehicle till they both got to their apartment by that time it was almost dusk . Abigail and the other servants made dinner quick and served him his meal .
After Hugo went for his shower and came out with his pjamas and sat on the bed as Abigail was already lying down on her whole side meters far away from him.
"I have some good news to tell you "Abigail said sitting up and looking at him gasping out in disgust
"Good news ?. I haven't heard anything good from you what is it about "he asked trying to be as polite as he could but still focused on his Tablet doing what he calls work
" I have gotten a job " Abigail said to him
" What did you just say ?.... A JOB !!! .." he said shocked " in the history of my life before a woman even thinks of doing something she asks her husband ,but you went ahead and got yourself a job,....wit..with out my permission "He said still trying to compress his anger and act nice but Abigail wasn't someone to be fooled by words
" I just wanted to inform you about the good news now ,and I'll be resuming work this week" she added ignoring his attitude and lieing down ,covering her self with the bed sheet .
" Okay babe I'm sorry "Hugo said trying to apologize . Moving close to her wrapping his hands around her waist and trying to kiss her
" What do you think you are doing !?.. please give me privacy ..and space " Abigail said as she felt extremely disgusted by his actions taking her pillows and walking away from the room to the sitting closing the door against him .
" How dare .... Her insolence and disrespect , non of the women I have married has ever kept their body from me .But she....she's making me struggle and wait to get her .
I can't put up with all this act of being a good and understanding husband ,I don't ask for permission before taking what I want and I don't need her permission too to get it .
I .. just hope this is the last time I have to act with these women ... Because I'll be the happiest on earth if I succeed in using this virgin to get my .....", Hugo said sarcastically as his phone beeped and so making him not finish his sentence . It was a message from "Adult Baker " so it seemed to be really important to him. As his business weren't really familiar with his wife ,as he was always secretive when it came to some points , and Abigail is some how trying to find out .
Abigail couldn't sleep as the way he touched her felt like venom to her skin and she couldn't shake the feeling she stood at the dining table pressing her palms tightly on the table and still contemplating on the previous issue then she saw a notification .
It was from Henry "Good night love " he texted as it was about 11:47.PM .
She held her phone happily as all her worries seems to flush away
" Haven't you slept already it late "she texted as quickly she could
" No. I was very busy with work . What about you?" He replied
" Should I tell him what happened " she thought " I'm not feeling sleepy but now I have heard your voice, I'll be able to "
" Are you sure ?. If that's it then I'm okay trying getting some you'll be resuming soon don't want my princess to have dark circles and eye bags "
" No problem love , I'll "
" I love you " he said as Abigail seemed to be too happy and both were then silent
" I love you too " she replied hanging the phone as her cheeks blushed red like cherries.
Henry too was overwhelmed to here her say it as they both spent the whole night thinking about each other.
