After arriving at the office Tessy saw him leaving the car. Tessy embraced him and took his black suite case from him escorting him into the office , he passed by Abigail's cabin but she was way to busy to even realize his presence, moving straight to his office to start his work.
Hugo then entered his car and drove to his parents place. Their house was a very big mansion with various statues of beautifully carved animals hanging all around, the gates had young guards with weapons ,the place was secured as it was hard for people who went part of the family or living in that house to enter.
Hugo got down from his car as he parked it at the entrance of the mansion and entered the gigantic sitting room of the house,
" What a pleasure meeting you" a man said as he sat on a big arm chair at the middle of the sitting room placing his feet on a finely furnished stool
" Good day dad " Hugo said greeting the man before him. Who appeared to be his father Enzo Renard.
Enzo Renard a powerful Mafia of high status as his blood line has been into the business for decades moving from generation to generation, as the business can only be transferred to the next if there's another heir.
It was already Hugo's time to inherit the business, but his absence of having an heir of his own caused his inability of taking over the business. Hugo got married not once but three times to different virgins and Abigail is his fourth spouse.
After his first marriage to his first wife ,he tried for 6 months still unable to father a child, he was then adviced by his mother Gianna to take his wife to the hospital for a test.
It was that horrible day Hugo found out that due to his excessive substance and alcohol intake, there where zero possibilities of him not being able to father a child ever in his life both through surgical or otherwise.
This impossibility caused a big flaw in he and his mother's plan of taking over the family empire, as he was Gianna's only son.
Hugo's step mother, brothers and sisters where also there waiting for their father Enzo, his patience to run out and put the whole empire in Luca's hand as he was Hugo's younger step brother.
Hugo's infertility was kept as a secret between him and his mother because if anyone else w were to find out it won't take time before Luca would be given the opportunity to take over. Still they both thought maybe his intimacy with a virgin may cause a miracle to happen, but he impatiently moved from one woman to the other , making Abigail his next prey but she seemed to slow down his whole plan down.
" Did you come with any good news" Enzo asked as he used his hand decorated with rings made of solid in calling his servant for a glass of alcohol
" Not yet dad, she is trying to..." Hugo tried to explain to his father , as he was too scared and disappointed to look at his father's face.
" Hmm...." Enzo muttered nodding his head
" She...?, For so long I have been waiting to hold your child Hugo, but the only thing you tell me is.. is, your wife, or wives." Enzo said dropping the glass on the tray the female servant was holding and continued
" At some point I feel like the problem is from you " Enzo added
" No dad " Hugo quickly said to stop his father from thinking so
" SHUT UP!!!" Enzo shouted making his scary and dangerous voice echoe around the whole house , shaking the pillars " I'm still ashamed son, at you , or wait don't tell me you don't know how to use your manhood on a woman, I won't mind arranging my bodyguards to teach you , so that you can bring forth a child of your own. I ..."
"ENZO!!!!"Gianna shouted as she could see and hear how he humiliated her son in the presence of the other family members and slaves . Hugo's self esteem got diminished and he tried so hard not to shed tears as his eyes were already burning.
" Our son has just returned and you say this to him, Enzo please..." Gianna added walking close to Hugo and holding him by the hand
" Well what can I say? to him , should I encourage him or pet him tell me " Enzo answered coughing
" I'm sorry dad ," Hugo tried to explain but his mother dragged him out of the sitting room to her bedroom, and then slamming the door so hard.
" My boy " Gianna said trying to calm him down , hugging him so tenderly and also serving him a glass of water .
" I don't know what to do mum, Abigail is to blame it's not me,I'm not infertile.... I'm a man.
I don't believe what the doctor said some time ago" Hugo said as he was in real pain he was bleeding in his heart emotionally.
" I too don't believe son,I know that there is nothing wrong with you , there is no need to lose hope, you should just keep trying" Gianna said trying so hard to calm him and give him hope.
" Thanks mum you are the only person who loves me, immediately I have a child I'll make Mr Enzo Renard.. pay I promise " Hugo said as he used his hand in cleaning his tears
" Don't worry son our plan will be successful you don't need to worry, and that old man will pay for everything he has done , I promise after acquiring everything I want and leave Linda and her illegitimate children on the street. And also make sure they feed from the garbage " Gianna added placing her right hand on her son's shoulder.
" We will make this out together mum" Hugo said turning and embracing his mother as her words played a very important role in cooling his temper and giving him more hope .
