They were actually absorbed by Majin Buu!

They turned their heads in unison.
Loren stood there calmly, hands in his pockets, expression indifferent.
"So what if they were absorbed?" he said lazily.
"Why are you all acting like the universe already ended?"
"M-Mr. Loren…"
Supreme Kai's voice trembled. He looked at Old Kai, then back at Loren, desperation filling his eyes.
"You… you fellow!"
Old Kai finally exploded, pointing at Loren furiously, beard shaking.
"You still have the nerve to act relaxed?! This situation can no longer be solved by fusion! That monster absorbed Goku and Gohan—his power is—"
"I know."
Loren cut him off.
"Alright, stop crying."
"Your performance is over."
"From here on out—leave it to me."
"…What did you say?"
Vegeta stared at Loren, his eyes filled with disbelief and rage.
"You're going to deal with that monster yourself?"
"Otherwise?" Loren glanced at him.
"Should I invite him over for dinner?"
"You—!!!"
Vegeta's chest heaved violently.
"You should've acted earlier!"
"If you had stepped in from the beginning, Kakarot and the others wouldn't have been absorbed! Things wouldn't have come to this!"
For a moment, no one spoke.
Vegeta had voiced what everyone was thinking.
Loren merely smiled.
"I saw you all were having fun, so I let you play."
"Who knew you'd all be this useless."
"Can't even handle a Majin Buu. Embarrassing."
"You…!!!"
Vegeta's face turned purple with rage.
Loren raised two fingers and pressed them lightly against his forehead.
"Alright. I'll be back soon."
"You all stay here and enjoy the show."
Whoosh—!
Loren vanished instantly.
Leaving behind stunned silence…
…and a Vegeta trembling with fury.
Earth — West City Ruins
Super Buu floated in mid-air, arms spread wide, basking in his newfound power.
"Hahahahahahaha!"
"So strong!"
"This is it! This is the true Super Buu!"
Suddenly—
He stopped laughing.
Super Buu slowly turned his head.
A figure had appeared in the sky nearby.
From Goku and Gohan's memories, he immediately recognized him.
Loren.
"Oh?"
A mocking grin spread across Super Buu's face.
"Another insect coming to die?"
"I thought you'd hide like a coward until the universe was destroyed."
Loren floated calmly, eyes half-lidded.
He ignored him.
"Hey! I'm talking to you!" Super Buu snapped.
"You deaf idiot!"
"What's with that look?"
"Too scared to speak?"
"Before you stands the strongest warrior in the universe! I've absorbed Son Goku and Son Gohan!"
"You should feel honored! You'll be absorbed next and become part of my power!"
"So loud…"
Loren sighed.
"You're really annoying."
"What?" Super Buu blinked.
"What did you just say?"
"I was planning to let you struggle a bit longer," Loren muttered.
"See what tricks this stitched-together monster could pull off."
"But all you do is buzz like a fly."
"…Disappointing."
"You—!!!"
Super Buu's rage exploded.
"I'LL RIP YOU APART!!!"
His evil aura surged violently—
But before he could move—
Loren's aura rose.
"Let me show you," Loren said calmly.
"What true power looks like."
ROAR—!!!
A savage, primal roar shook the heavens!
A violent crimson shockwave erupted outward, centered on Loren!
Super Buu's eyes widened in terror.
Loren's body began to change.
Dense blood-red fur rapidly covered his upper body.
His black hair flowed wildly behind him.
Two dark crimson markings formed around his eyes.
Cold.
Majestic.
Absolute.
A terrifying aura—far beyond anything before—exploded from his body!
Super Saiyan Four!
A realm unseen until now.
World of the Kai
No one dared to breathe.
"Wh-what… is that…?" Krillin whispered.
"That's not… Super Saiyan Three…"
Vegeta's fists clenched so hard they cracked.
His body trembled violently.
Again.
Every time.
Every single time, this man stepped beyond everyone else.
While he—Prince Vegeta—was left behind as a spectator.
