Chapter 5 - Ch. 4: Mothers Talk

Back in the moments before Alice fell because of which was used to create wind magic from a slow breeze in the palm of her hand, outside Alice Luna's room immediately went to see Lisa whose room was not far from Alice's and herself's room.

Kicked gently from outside the door, Luna hopes she doesn't interfere with Lisa's current busy life in her room. A few seconds later, Lisa opens the door, surprised by Luna's arrival and smiles at her.

"Come in."

Luna is welcome to enter by a dark purple long layer-haired woman, a pair of golden eyes, having a beautiful face with an ideal posture ranging from; about 172 cm tall, medium-bodied but slender waist, large-chested F Cup, a very prominent seductive hip, Lisa, to the world. Sh went to the side of the door to let Luna in.

Luna, who nodded, entered Lisa's room in a polite manner.

"....."

Luna's crimson-colored eyes lead to a little girl who she thinks is not much different from her daughter, Alice.

"What are you doing here, Luna?"

"Ah, right."

Realized by Lisa's question, Luna, who was sitting on the sofa, looked at Lisa, who was sitting opposite her.

"Nayla, please make tea for my friend."

"Yes, ma'am."

The sound was heard from outside the room that shocked Luna because there was no one before, making her doubt about this.

Knowing there was doubt on her face, Lisa could only chuckle with a relaxed attitude, moving her right hand as if calming her down.

"Nothing to worry about, she's my personal maid, Nayla."

"Fine."

After hearing Lisa's explanation, Luna looked back at Lisa with a serious face when she breathed a long sigh with a relieved face.

"It's about my daughter."

"Your daughter?"

"Yes."

Although Lisa does not know what Luna wants to talk about her daughter, Alice, who according to Lisa is not far from her daughter, is curious about this so she still looks at Luna with a small nod ready to listen to her.

"Well... My daughter's acting really weird."

"Strange? What do you mean?"

"Well, you know for yourself, don't you?"

Instead of answering with an explanation, Luna, who threw questions at Lisa, made Lisa reflect for a moment to remember her.

"Could it be that she's a troubled little girl?"

"Yeah, something like that."

The complaints heard from Luna who ducked down made Lisa surprised at the expression and tone of her friend in front of her.

"Well, isn't it natural for a child to be active at her age?"

"Yes, at first I thought the same as you."

The open door shows Lisa's personal maid Nayla, a woman who has orange-colored asymmetrical lob hair, a pair of purple eyes, has a beautiful face and a proportional posture ranging from; a B Cup-sized chest, a slender waist, and a large body posture. and the usual hips behind the black maid outfit with a white arm apron and a long skirt that delivers a cup of tea to the table, placing two cups in front of Luna and Lisa.

"Well, then, if you'll excuse me."

Bowing her head, Nayla who gets a nod from Lisa comes out of Lisa's room and waits outside her room while standing, waiting for Lisa's next order.

"There's just something I don't understand."

Hearing Luna continue her conversation, Lisa slurped the tea in her cup put the cup on the table. She looked at Luna while crossing her legs while leaning on the sofa across from Luna.

"So, what don't you understand?"

"About my daughter who suddenly read the common knowledge books at the same age as your daughter."

"....."

Surprised to hear Luna's words, according to Lisa, how could anyone possibly understand the heavy discussion in the public knowledge book? That's absolutely impossible.

Usually, a 6-year-old girl in Lisa only has a playful mind, for example her own daughter; Eri, a white classic bob-haired little girl, an emerald pair of eyes playing dolls and houses of some toy furniture, no mindset she will learn at this time.

"But, how could your daughter..."

"That's what I don't understand."

It's hard to believe that someone of Alice's age suddenly understands the heavy topics that only adults have, not to play or have fun.

"....."

Secretly, Eri, who is playing listening to the conversation between her mother and a long blonde aunt and the eyes of the crimson sitting across from her, wants to know what they are talking about.

"I don't know if I should be happy or not, it's really confusing."

"Well, you're right."

Lisa also agrees with Luna. She thinks that if she is in Luna's position, maybe Lisa will also be confused by the attitude of her daughter, Alice, who doesn't look like a little girl her age.

"Moreover, I persuaded her not to read the book but she insisted."

Coughing to hear Luna complain about this, Lisa's previously confused expression becomes relaxed even though the look in her eyes is still curious.

"Just like your husband, huh?"

"Yes."

Both were silent, no conversation at all but silent as they enjoyed a sip of tea in their respective cups.

"It really makes me curious. How can a daughter of my daughter's age learn a book she shouldn't have learned at her age?"

Lisa has a high curiosity in her mind, she refrains from taking steps to find Luna's daughter so that Luna looks comfortable with her closeness later.

"That's it."

Suddenly an idea came to Lisa's mind. She feels that this idea can be used as a meeting with Luna's daughter so that she can know her attitude to know for sure whether she is really a little girl or has mature thoughts.

"What if your daughter and my daughter get to know each other later?"

Hearing Lisa's advice, Luna was surprised in her silence because she didn't think of it at all.

"Yeah, I don't think that's a problem. But, when can we get your daughter and mine together?"

Lisa did not expect that Luna was really curious to know when she could meet her daughter and Luna's daughter.

"How about now?"

"Isn't it too sudden?"

"No, I don't think it's sudden."

Lisa's words stopped for a moment, her golden eyes glanced at her daughter, who was secretly close to the sofa where she was sitting, sitting on the side while pretending to play dolls and toy furniture.

"You're curious too, aren't you, sweetheart?"

"....."

Surprised by her mother's eavesdropping, Eri slowly turns to her mother, who smiles meaningfully understands that her mother may be angry behind her smile because she eavesdrops on adult conversations.

"No, I'm not curious."

"Ara... I think you're curious so I'll let you see my friend's daughter."

"That's..."

Her mother's offer was enough to tempt Eri to find out who was the daughter of a long blonde aunt and the crimson eyes that her mother was talking to at the moment, wanting to know why that people was complaining about her daughter.

"How? You don't mind, do you, Luna?"

"Well, if your daughter wants to see him now, I think it's okay. Besides, I think it's good because they can get to know each other and play together."

Hearing the aunt talking to her mother agree, Eri's emerald eyes twinkle with hope, standing up and approaching Luna with a curious face.

"Is it really okay, Auntie?"

"Aunt?"

"Ah, sorry."

Hearing the conversation between Luna who is surprised by Eri's words, Lisa can only laugh at hearing Luna object to being called like that by her daughter.

"Yes, that's right, darling. You can go to his room."

"Yeay~"

Without lingering, Eri immediately went out of the room to a room not far from her mother's room earlier.

"She's really excited."

"Yes, you're right."

For Lisa, Luna's words were a compliment to her daughter, Eri, because Lisa did not deny that her daughter was secretly curious about what her mother and Alice's mother talked about in front of her, Luna.

"Ah, right. What about you, Lisa? Don't you have any trouble taking care of your daughter?"

"No, everything's fine."

Had guessed that Lisa's answer to her thoughts, Luna could only take a long breath not understand why she was the only one who was overwhelmed in caring for and caring for her daughter, Alice, who had a contradictory attitude from her, except for her husband, Ren's nature.

"No need for that kind of depression, every child is different, right?"

"Yes, you're right. But still...."

Not wanting to say anything else, Luna just kept the next word in her mind.

"My daughter's a freak more than yours."

Understanding that this conversation is difficult, Lisa avoids her friend Luna as much as possible to constantly complain and be depressed about taking care of her daughter.

"Forget about it, what do you think of His Majesty's decision?"

"Decision?"

Suddenly Luna remembers what her father, Arga, said after Alice was born from the womb of her daughter, Luna.

At that time Arga, a black taperfade-haired man with the same beard and mustache that fused like a lion's mane, looked at Luna who had just been exhausted after giving birth.

"Daughter, listen to me. Today, you have given birth to your daughter into this world. I hope she can take my place as the next successor despite her position as queen."

"But Father... Isn't that too sudden?"

Arga shook his head, feeling that it was not sudden because he would wait patiently for his grandson's growth.

"I'll look forward to what she looked like when she was 18. When she is ripe, I will retire as king by letting my grandson go in my place. "

The words remain clearly remembered in Luna's mind making her feel that her daughter's burden would be heavy because she succeeded her grandfather Arga as the next heir to the throne even though only as queen.

"It doesn't have to be that sad."

Gently held Luna's hands by Lisa, a moment of surprise was seen in Luna's face and then she looked at Lisa with a confused face.

"I think His Majesty saw something neither you nor I saw in her."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

Although a little relieved by Lisa's words, there is still something that sticks from Luna's heart about her father choosing her daughter, Alice, as a candidate to succeed to the throne later, knowing that Alice's path will be more difficult than anyone else in the palace.
