Alisha opened up to me and found solace in me and I was snapping at her like other Pack members did. I was placing my own personal and internal emotions on her, she wasn't the one i am upset with, she is the only person in this whole Pack that actually made being here bearable.


"I am sorry, Alisha. I am not upset with you, I just have a lot going on in my mind and I am just overwhelmed." She looked at me and offered me a small smile.


"I can only imagine what you must have been going through right now. I don't know if I would ever be strong enough to handle a situation like yours. It takes a lot of strength and courage to stay." She said to me.


But was I going to stay? Was I really going to continue to live within this Pack while I watched Bernard mated with someone else? Could I really do that? I knew the answer to that and it pained my wolf to even think of it.
