Tobias had a lot to say to Seraphina but paused when he noticed their car slowing down.
Only then did he look outside the window and realize that they had arrived at the hotel where the wedding reception was supposed to be held.
Seraphina too turned in the same direction and found that their car was now heading towards the underground parking of the hotel.
When she had arrived in the city last night, she had booked a room for herself in this same hotel as the reception would be held there after the wedding ceremony was completed.
Therefore, she had chosen this place for convenience sake and found herself sighing in relief when she saw they she could finally head back to her room where she could rest in peace.
Earlier, she had entered this car with Tobias after they had left the chapel and they were so engrossed in conversation that she had not thought about where the car must be heading.
Now that they had arrived at the hotel, all she wished to do was head back to her room and get out of this ill-fitting gown.
Unaware of the simple thoughts in her head, Tobias watched with a complicated look in his eyes as the car came to a halt in the underground parking.
The hotel management was present to welcome them and guide the married couple as planned.
However, nothing today had gone as planned so he wondered how the rest of the day would proceed.
Knowing that they cannot stay in the car forever, he cleared his throat and stepped out of the car before heading towards Seraphina's side of the car, holding the door open for her.
This kind of behavior was nothing out of the ordinary for Seraphina as both Tobias and Shawn were raised as perfect gentlemen who would be chivalrous to the women close to them.
Hence, she did not think too much and simply placed her hand in his as he guided her out of the car and towards the private elevator arranged for them.
What she had not realized was that she was currently dressed as a bride and the man leading her was in a groom's suit.
The beautiful couple gained the attention of a few passersby and even the hotel staff waiting for them could not help but swoon upon seeing this natural, wordless interaction between the pair.
Only after the couple disappeared into the elevator did the female staff giggle after witnessing their cute behavior.

As soon as she got into the elevator, Seraphina pressed the button for the seventh floor, which made Tobias tilt his head in confusion.
"Our suite is on the twentieth floor." He explained while pressing the correct button for their floor.
Those words had slipped out of his mouth casually but when he thought of the fact that the suite had been booked for him and Selene, he felt an awkwardness wash over him.
He knew that it must be just as awkward for his best friend, just as it was for him, so he forced himself to revert to a neutral expression before she noticed anything.
In the reflection of the steel elevator doors, Seraphina had already caught the annoyed frown that had flashed across his face for just a second before it disappeared.
However, she neither pointed it out nor was she affected by his ever-changing expressions.
While the elevator swiftly moved up towards the twentieth floor, she stared at her own reflection, looking right at the woman dressed in that ill-fitting gown with numerous thoughts swirling around in her head.
Once they reached the correct floor, Tobias held her hand again and led her to the room that had been booked for the couple to stay in while they waited for the reception to begin.
Seraphina watched as he led her into what she assumed to be the penthouse suite, where everything was arranged beautifully.
With just a glance, she could tell that even the decoration here was as per Selene's taste and felt uncomfortable to even be inside this room.
While she was still looking around the room, she saw him walk through a door and soon heard the sound of water running.
'I better talk to him...' She decided that it was time for them to have a serious discussion once he returned from the washroom.
However, before he could step out, she heard the doorbell ringing and upon opening the door, she found her now mother-in-law, Theresa Rion, standing outside along with her assistant and the stylists who had helped her get dressed earlier in the chapel.
Before she could process why they were here, Theresa began instructing the people she had brought and they hurriedly got right to work.
When Tobias returned to the room, he found a bunch of people surrounding Seraphina as they tried to readjust the loose gown to fit her better.
Earlier at the chapel, the stylists were not given much time, however, before arriving at the hotel, they had made preparations to alter the gown to fit the new bride perfectly.
In no time, the disproportionate gown was altered in such a way that it snugly fit on Seraphina, making Theresa nod in appreciation at the sight that she saw.
The makeup was also reapplied, this time using a color palette that enhanced Seraphina's features.
By the time they had completed their task, Seraphina looked like the perfect bride, not someone who had been chosen last minute to replace the actual bride.
Tobias also nodded his head in appreciation of the stylist's talent when he saw the transformation that had taken place, as he had, by now, come to terms with everything that had taken place.
"You still have a few minutes before the reception begins..." Theresa revealed and asked her daughter-in-law to rest until then.
She then left the room and everyone with her followed after her, leaving the new couple alone in this penthouse suite.
As peace once again returned to the earlier chaotic room, Seraphina finally had the chance to speak to Tobias about what was on her mind.
"We should talk" She announced and saw his shoulders jerk as he stiffened his back.
