Upon stepping into the Airship, I just could not help but let out as gasp of awe. I have been onto Cruises, Trains, and Airplanes before but I have never been onto airships. It really looked grandiose, just like the ones in victorian era movies. It is.....also very luxurious as though I am in a mansion.
Like a kid, I eagerly followed our homeroom Professor, Merkeith Wicandel behind. Jogging to her side and leaving my friends to their own devices, I started to passionately ask Ms. Merkeith about the history of this Airship.
"Hahahahaha, this is actually a first model...first generation model, not the first one made. It was the blueprint from the Garvia Continent which made the Arvendhale kingdom be able to invent this"
Listening to her explain about such trivial thing, I started to take notes in my diary as she just chuckled in my gesture, thinking that I am just an eager young man.
Ever since I became a noble and was able to afford notebooks, I actually started a diary. The reason for such was to cope with my loneliness of being the only one from earth in this place. I would have done this shit a long time ago, but I had no fucking money to buy a notebook, so now that I have one...I was happy.
As I was taking notes down on my diary, I then went to the window and marvel at the sight of the Archanus Empire from above. It was absolutely beautiful especially now that the sun is rising at the peak.
Once we reached the borders of The Empire and reached the waters of the sea, I just could not help but look at an eye catching large shipwreck on the waters.
"What is that, Miss Merkeith?"
I asked our Professor who is just right beside me, entertaining each of my questions ever since earlier. Casting a glance on the shipwreck below us, Miss Merkeith smiled and somehow felt proud when she started talking.
"That is the ruins of [ Undying Dawn ], Caspian's...The Warrior of Liberation's ship. It was the ship which Lord Caspian used to transport the survivors from Astrea Continent when the Demons invaded a part of that Continent. He fought so bravely and even gave his life for the survivors to escape"
The gaze in her eyes looked very proud when she said those words, but I did not stare at her expression for too long as I casted my gaze on the large shipwreck and paid deep respects on Caspian. F.
As I was paying my respects, Miss Merkeith then heard another teacher calling out to her which made her bid farewell to her and I was left to my own devices. I just stood there, looking down on the view in the window.
Until someone stood beside me and also looked at the shipwreck by the window. I glanced to see who it was but was startled to realize who, I flinched and felt tensed. It was Yuri Arghain.
Right, speaking of her....just this week, I heard this woman reached the Elite Orange Stage, she just broke through the Red rank already, that is why her Aura is so large. She is very talented, not even I can compare to it. But I had a feeling that breaking through for her was not easy as it sounded.
Oh, the reason why I called her talented was actually because...Apparently, Average first years consider that reaching Pristine red Stage as the greatest achievement ever. Even Azriel and Viego are only at Elite Red and Borderline Pristine Red stages, and they are already considered as one of the Academy's top 10, so reaching Orange Rank at first year is already considered as talented.
Ah, speaking of me....I am actually on Initiation Orange Stage. Since I also reached the Orange Stage, I guess I am also considered as talented? I mean...I did have a bunch of cheats, so if I just stay at lower stage despite having it then I am a failure as an OP character.
Although giving OP cheats on characters make them kinda bland, experiencing it in reality is surely fucking exciting. Like come on, who has not even once fantasized being overpowered? I bet in everyone's fake scenarios, they are the main character. That is also what I am feeling right now.
Staring at her right on the periphery of my vision, I endured the awkward coldness and cleared my throat to ease it up.
"Greetings, Princess Yuri"
I greeted her with a Curtsy which the girl just look at me for a moment and nod. This girl...! Hey! I am trying to ease the awkward atmosphere, at least return back the greeting!
Once again trying to ease the awkwardness between the two of us, I cleared my throat and threw in a topic.
"Are you also interested in the shipwreck, Princess?"
I asked the girl with a pleasant smile, but the girl just nodded again without any words. Goddamn it! Please stop being so awkward!
Now I get why they call her the Ice Princess, it was actually not just because of her ability. It was actually because she is like one. Goddamn it.
Not giving up on easing the awkwardness since I did not want to leave this view, I once again threw another conversation topic.
"I heard that a school in another Continent will be joining us...so this will be like a Battle Royale for the school's honor, that is why....do you wish to join forces, Princess?"
I asked the lady which she just shot me a glance and kept quiet. Yeah, I give up. I will just move somewhere.
Seeing that I got no response from the princess, I decided to just give up in talking to her as I sigh and turn my back on her to leave. But the moment I started walking away, I heard the white haired woman speak.
"I will destroy everyone in the exam including you and reign alone. So I have no need for help."
She said as I paused on my steps and turned to stare back at her jewelled blue eyes which has been staring at me with a stoic glint. Hearing her words, I just could not help but feel mixed emotions. Shock, Fear, and Anticipation.
Would you look at this woman? Did she just declare war? How fucking amusing.
Smiling, I nodded at her words as she then turned back her gaze to admire the shipwreck.
Seems like I might have to clip someone's wings. This will be exciting.

Stepping out of the Airship and landing on the docking platform in this island, I marvelled at the sight of the other airships also docking onto the other platforms. I watched as students in a different uniform step out in there.
The first batch of students that I saw was brawny students, apparently they came from the Astrea Continent and the clothes that they wore are the Traditional Chinese Clothes, I don't know what they call it since I am not a huge fan of chinese culture but it looked like those Black Uniforms from Kung Fu movies, the longsleeve one and a black slacks. Yeah, I guess that Continent is the Equivalent of Asia. I heard that they call their school "Blue Dragon Academy", It totally sounds badass unlike our plain sounding just "Academy".
Staring at the batch of students from Astrea, students from my school could not help but shiver at them, after all why would they not? Each one of them are at Orange ranks and the weakest one detected was a Pristine Red rank. Damn monsters.....looking at their physique, are they even teenagers? Aren't they just a grade repeater? What the fuck?
Shaking my head out of those thoughts, I shot Yuri—the strongest student from Luvaxia present—a glance and found her staring at the group of Astrean students. In her eyes, there is a longing look. I wondered what that was but it is none of my business so I just looked away and watched the third batch of students step out from the last Airship.
The last students were from the Garvia Continent. The uniforms that they wore....were like those Military Clothes the one that the generals uses, the aura that they exuded are actually just similar to us but with a few Orange Ranks, what surprised me at their entrance though was a different thing.
By their shoulders, FUCKING MUSKET RIFLES were strapped. THEY ARE FUCKING BRINGING GUNS IN A SWORD FIGHT, LIKE SHIT! REF! THAT IS ILLEGAL! DO SOMETHING!
Apparently, every student from that Continent were carrying guns.
