The moment she and I made a deal, I already knew for sure that I was going to be used as a bait. Fox tribes are known to be devious with their tricks, they are known to be traitors and known to be a pieces of shit. Therefore, the moment Caitlyn asked me for a partnership with her....I have already decided that I will be the one using her instead of her using me. When she talked about stalling the Ape King, I decided to look at her skeptically. She planned to use me as a bait and she said it quite obviously, meaning she was trying to test me whether I agree or not, if I choose to agree on her obvious bait and continue to pretend to be a clueless person then she might catch onto my tail and see that I have a trump card ahead. So, I decided to make it like I found out her intentions on using me as a bait and then called dibs on being the first looter. Perfectly cutting my own tail and removing her suspicions of me, making her think everything is on her control.
Then the moment we entered the underground passage, I soon then found another pieces to use for my plan when it comes into play. I found the [ Mandrake Crystals ] lying on the ground, seeing those...I smiled inwardly as I grabbed some very secretly the moment Caitlyn had her back turned and stored it inside the pouch that I was carrying as I also used [ One with the wind ] to pass through the alarm by making the air lift me and make me light. I even got crystal dust covered in my hand, fortunately, the stupid fuck—I mean fox did not catch it.
Then once I started looting, I then started stealing the important items and showed it off towards Caitlyn, trying to tempt her and then stored it away inside the pouch full of Mandrake Crystals.
I originally planned to just loot then leave her behind as bait and run away by collapsing the place but after getting the Mandrake Crystals, I decided I should just play a little mind games with her.
Ah yeah right, I also wrapped the Mandrake Crystals with Ki, So the moment she gets tempted and swipe the pouch, I would then make my Ki wrapped around the crystals, crush those crystals as a concussive explosion will then occur.
And it did happen. The dumbfuck really stole the pouch according to my plan as I soon crushed the Crystals inside using the Ki wrapped around it and protected my ear with Ki.
"Thank you for entertaining me, Clown"
I sneered at Caitlyn as I swiftly swiped the pouch from her hand and immediately ran away with my master's footwork, this time, with Ki to make myself faster. I completely left Caitlyn alone as she would soon eat dust.

Watching Roanoke leave her to eat dust, Caitlyn just sat there with bloodied eyes as the Ape King slowly rose from the ground and recover from the concussive experience.
Seeing Caitlyn was alone there and vulnerable, it then smiled as it tried to lash out at her...but it just grabbed the air.
Caitlyn escaped by diving into the shadows and running back into the hidden passage.
"W-what the hell?"
Panting heavily, she took a moment to catch her breath as she held her chest very tightly and covered her mouth to prevent a moan from coming out.
Despite her already bleeding from her eyes and nose, She still blushed as she recalled the sneer that Roanoke showed to her.

With lust in her bloody eyes, she moaned as she bit her lower lip upon remembering the image of Roanoke calling her a dumbass and a clown.

Getting home with blood and wounds covering my whole body and as well as my newly taken sword, I panted heavily and reached my master's cabin.
"Oh? Finally learned it? Took you 4 days. A 10 year old could learn it in just a day"
My master chuckled upon seeing my figure as I collapsed infront of the pond and then laid down on my back. I did not have the energy to argue with this bastard today.
"Yeah...I get the gist of it and....I also brought back treasures"
I panted heavily and then showed the pouch that I had been carrying. Bloody pouch to be precise. Ah, to explain this....I am covered in blood not because I was hurt, I was hurt slightly yes but not life threatening. The blood came from the Fire Monkeys that chased after me. They depleted my stamina.
"Oh? You stole something? As expected of my Disciple"
Walking up to me, My Master swiped the pouch full of items from my hand with a smile. I did not bother getting mad, I just let him be as I continued toblay on my back. Ookay, I guess I really need to check the spoils of uhhh is it considered war? Whatever.
"Sorta. I just sneaked up into a Fire Monkey's den. There is a whole bunch"
I replied to him as I also smiled at him, looking so smug as if I was trying to brag...no, I was bragging. But my master did not acknowledge it, he just replied with the usual 'Sure sure, whatever' attitude. This guy is insufferable.
With little bit of my strength left, I got up from the ground as my master started opening the pouch...or sack and taking out the items inside.
The Runestone, The Katana with a wind symbols on its hilt, The Pearl Earring, The Stiletto and The Ring.
Staring at those spoils of war, I just dozed off because I had no idea what those things can do aside from the Runestone. I know much about runestones, I heard that it is a forbidden substance because it is used to store a Blessed's blessing inside it. People in this world believe that when a blessed die, their blessings return to the Heavens above, so when someone stores a blessing inside an item....it would be Blasphemous.
"Any ideas on what's the runestone's ability, Master?"
I asked my master with anticipation rising up in me. I smiled as I waited for his answer and was so ready to learn, but his words...broke my smile.
"Hell should I know? And also, You cannot learn this"
He answered with a scoff as he inspected the stiletto. This bastard...is he forbidding me on learning it because he hates the Gods? This guy's pettiness is affecting me.

I tried to protest towards him with a glare, but the guy just stared at me as if I was the most stupid person on earth. Then he tossed the Runestone towards me, Heh! Bingo!
"Idiot. Only Blesseds can learn the Runestone's skills, a Cursed like us cannot learn it."
Those words made my body be stiffed and I soon then laid back down to the ground and bit through this bullshit that I was feeling. Goddamn it.
Watching me by the side as I bit through my bitterness, my master just chuckled and made fun of me. If only I had more strength, I would have cut this guy down. Goddamn it.

Saying those words, my master stopped laughing as he wiped the tears on his eye that accumulated from laughing too much, then he took out Flesh Eater from inside the cabin inside a short time.

My master said to me as he draw out Flesh Eater from its sheathe, seeing the clear red blade of Flesh Eater, I sat up from the ground and tilted my head in confusion.

I asked my master with genuine confusion, then he grabbed the Runestone with his other hand.
"The Runestone's ability can be engraved onto Flesh Eater. Roel's swords are uncanny as it can store blessings, even my Luna's Descent which was made by him had such ability"
My Master explained as both of our gaze landed on the blade sitting by his side, it was the eerie sword. So that sword can also store blessing? But...who the heck would have such a Sinister Blessing like those eerie flames?
Recalling what happened to Count Baifel's arm, I shivered. I wondered who owned such a blessing for it to be that sinister but I didn't dare ask my master, cause I felt that I might regret it. Maybe that sword was already enchanted.
"Anyways, do you wish to infuse Flesh Eater with the Runestone's ability? And possibly get possessed by a vengeful ghost who owned this blessing?"
Why is this guy asking something so scary in a casual tone...and what does he mean by possessed by a vengeful spirit? Will Flesh Eater become like Luna's descent too? How creepy!
Staring at my master while he asked that question, I swallowed a mouthful of saliva first as I opened my mouth to answer.
"I....."
