I bite my lower lips. "Is it true that Yi Chen is getting married?"
"Yi—what?" There's a pause for a moment. "I did get an invitation card, but I'm not so sure who got married."
"Check it. Now."

I roll my eyes up, though I'm sure that Su Lin won't be able to see me. I just need an answer, one solid answer.
"Oh.. yeah. Got a card. It says, You're invited to a wedding of our beloves son Yi..."

"Yi Chen said, he's getting married. Tomorrow's wedding is his."

I can sense the give up moment in Su Lin's tone. That girl is always the third party in me and Yi Chen's situation. I call her Sulomon, as she always put the peace solution between us, fair and square. She's the first person who knows I have a crush on Yi Chen. And, probably the only one in our class!
"Ah Lin, I can make Yi Chen falls for me. But, what about his family? My family? I know I can leave them. But Yi Chen loves his Ma so much..." my tone is getting lower. "I'll blame myself if he's sad."
True. I will curse myself so bad if my love is the reason Yi Chen loses his love from his Ma. I know how much they love each other. And aware of the fact that this kind of love must be too hard for them to accept.

Sneaking into this Sweet Pork Bun shop is a lot easier than I thought! Maybe because of the crowd, or maybe they are too intoxicated with alcohol, that no one notices I am striding my way into the kitchen.
The layout of this house is no different than my house. At the front is our shop. Then walking at the back is the kitchen. There's a small hallway to the stairs where you can go upstairs, straight into the small hall. There's four room in total. And I bet, judging by the placement of our window, Yi Chen's room is right on my left; first door.
Just as I thought...
He was there; on bed, lying on his tummy while his eyes are out of focus.
But not for long.
As soon as his eyes waver, he almost jump off the bed.
"What the—! Yah! Why... How... What are you doing in my room!"
I immediately hover him. My index presses his lips to shut him down. He goes calm, but he shot his sharp gaze on me.
"Now you're scare, huh?"
"Of course. I still wanna live my life. I don't have a lover yet!"
Yes, no one can kill me before I marry you, Sweet Bun! Even the Hell can kiss me goodbye!
"Then, why are you here? How?"
I put down my finger, locking eyes with Yi Chen. His boba eyes are so mesmerizing! Gazing up close like this, I don't think it's healthy for my heart.
Better back off a bit before I got cardiac arrest!
"Just checking. Who knows, you and your spouse are doing something interesting in this room..." as usual, my fucking lips won't treat this sweet boy properly. "I can get something on record and sell it online."
"You and your pervert mind won't change even after hundred years! Shameless peep!" Yi Chen throws me a pillow.

"Are you deaf? Or dead?" Yi Chen flicks my nose, making me jump in shock. "If you wanna play dead possum, go home."

"Su Lin called. Did you get the invitation?"
"What invitation?" Yi Chen steps away from me.
"Our middle school's reunion. This Sunday."
"I haven't check my email..." he taps the screen before he gasps. "Oh yeah, they did send the invitation..."
"Are you coming?" I non-chalantly ask him, just to facade the curiosity.
"I don't know. Tomorrow is the wedding. I might be busy cleaning the house after that."
I hate that excuses!
"Are you coming?"

Yi Chen's brow crook up. "Is there anyone else in this room?"

"I did saw someone behind you..."
"Shit!" Yi Chen jumps from his spot and hides behind me.
So... you're afraid of ghost... Interesting...
"Oh, sorry. It's your shadow..."
"You!" Yi Chen slaps my shoulder. He looks angry yet cute! "Don't ever do that again—oh, you're surely won't do that again, because this will be the last time you sneak into my room—!"
"We're roommates, have you realize it?" I give Yi Chen a smirk.
"Our room is clean. No haunting presence."
"How did you—"
"I can see ghost."
Now, I feel scare! Judging by his reaction, there must be another presence in this room. This room is haunted!
"Yah, get away from me!" Yi Chen pushes me away. Unconsciously, my body moves closer to Yi Chen, up until I almost hug him with my leg.
Wait. This is a golden moment!
"Now that you expose your useless talent, you think I can stay here in peace?" I purposely jolts up.
"Go home then!"
"I can't. The ghost will follow me!"
I can see Yi Chen squits his eyes while giving me a sharp glare.
"No. Nope. Never!"
He knows my thoughts so well. Ah... this is why I fall in love with him!
"Let me sleep here tonight—!"
"You wanna be skinned alive by Pa? You're crazy, Minghao!"
"I might be possessed! Imagine if I have a ghost inside me and the ghost pretend to be me..." I point my finger at myself. "Are you okay being my roommate when you see me getting possessed everyday?"

"I swear to God..." he sighs. "Fine. But, sleep on the floor! There's no way I'll share my bed with you!"

Yi Chen throws a pillow and blanket at me. I grab it with a stern look. But... his face...
Why he is so cute when he is in his angry mode!!
"Switch off the light!" Yi Chen turns around, his back is facing me after he gives his order. I snicker while watching his beautiful back before switch off the lamp.
