Raiden breathed out heavily, he rubbed his hands together and watched the other team, eyeing up the members before turning to his own team quickly. "Everyone, we're gonna pull through this and win this match! Just don't overdo it if you can't handle it okay? I don't want anyone getting hurt." Raiden said as he cared for his teammates.
Shizu took the ball and delivered another hard serve toward Ashina, the ball about to land in the left corner of their court.
Cynil went and received the ball stepping back, the ball traveled towarda Gharma. Gharma spiked the ball hard, however Tengoku met him clean at the net, blocking his shot. The ball traveled in the air in Ashina's direction once more.
A crow started to fly as it slammed in to the ball, knocking it back down and blocking a shot from Cynil on the wing. A familiar in this environment?
A dark haired girl stood on the wing in the center as the ball traveled, the crow disappearing from the scene. "Alright Yoshiwara. Let's go with a team attack once we get the ball back."
Yuki had placed her fingers into gun motions, she zapped blasts of pure light blue energy towards the ball, knocking it up into the air once more before focusing the same energy into her hands, blasting the ball towards Yoshiwara. "If only I had them.."
Tengoku moved and directly grabbed the blasts out of the air. The same deal. They were erased instantly. The dark haired girl moved through the air and passed the ball to Vermelha, who made a pass to Raito, who made a pass to Tengoku, who slammed the ball right back for yoshiwara straight to the ground. 3 passes and a clean hit. The ball traveled for Ashina, putting them back on defense immediately.
"You got it or do I have to make the play here?" Joseph inquired, having regained a bit of his stamina after his previous transformation, enough that he could risk doing a few things.
Raiden nodded to Joseph and turned to Gharma quickly. "Gharma, help us out here! They're working in tandem so we have to as well!"
Gharma slid to the ground saving the ball with his foot sending it up, setting up Raiden for a perfect hit.
Raiden followed up with a hit of his own, delivering a strong spike to the Yoshiwara side of the court, downwards towards the floor. The ball was sent flying as he only used his mana to buff his strike onto the ball.!Vermlha spun back and hit the ball upwards.
Kurai moved as a black aura followed her. Black feathers trailed behind her feet as she slammed the ball down toward Ashina as it hit the ground. The score changed, now being 5-7 in Yoshiwara's favor. Yoshiwara celebrated as the game was reaching its climax, the ball slowly rolling off of Ashina's floor.
Raiden breathed out heavily, he looked for openings on their court but could only see counter attacks on their side. He thought about how Mamba would kill him if they lost and that was what scared him the most in that moment, he focused heavily and readied himself, he knew he was good working alongside Cynil, Yuki, and Gharma. His own family he could trust but now he had to include the other members of the team and their specialties. "We have to bounce off each other and get this game turned around."
Chasette aimed for Raiden right in the middle of his dialogue. She served the ball, the same pink and purple aura surrounded the ball as it headed for another point. Raiden dashed for the ball once again, diving for it with his hands cupped once more, a small flicker of flames had appeared on his fists as he did so.
Yuki had charged up another shot of the non lethal energy. Letting the ball get launched up by Raiden before blasting it back over the net towards Yoshiwara. The ball almost became completely rubber as it shot up and ricocheted off the ceiling knocking one of the lights. Kurai received the ball and bumped it back over toward Ashina.
Raiden recovered by this point and jumped upwards going for a bump to the back section of the Yoshiwara side, the energy Chasette displayed was something that was still off putting to him as he still didn't understand why their energy's were similar but not at the same time. It was actively merging his ability to combat Yoshiwara's strength. Part of Raiden felt that all of this was an intentional move.
Tengoku once again spiked the ball down, losing all of the force Raiden hit it with. The score was now 8-5. Yoshiwara celebrated again as the ball rolled to the back of the gym again. Raiden furrowed his brow, the teamwork was not working as well as the other side, he knew he couldn't match up against a team that had plenty of experience together compared to their gathering of a day. Raiden looked around as he took in another deep breath, he thought about forfeiting the match to protect his teammates but they had to at least get to the end, the best they could do is try.
"Hey..what the hell you making that face for?.." Gharma looked at him, standing tall. "It's only 8-5. They've still got seven more if they wanna beat us. Don't make that fucking face Raiden. Come on. Let's focus."
Raiden nodded to his brothers encouragement, he put his hands to the ground as he awaited the incoming serve and actions to follow, his hair flowed as he prepared to use what he could against the Yoshiwara team.
"Awesome! This is just awesome!" Matsumi was having a blast watching everyone use their special magic during the game. "Hey, hey, team! Give me more passes! I wanna shoot!"
Tengoku took the ball to the back as he began to serve. 0Alright. When we get the ball back we've got you." Tengoku jumped and hit the ball, the ball just bouncing off the net and heading towards the Ashina floor. Raiden moved foward and hit the ball backward towards Gharma. "Gharma! You got it!"
Gharma hit the ball, however once again due to the inactivity of the whole team Chasette and Vermelha quickly blocked it, the ball hitting the Ashina floor again. The score being 9-5 now. The Yoshiwara side of the crowd screaming as they managed to score twice now.
"Really? This is the school that came to face us?" Tengoku looked on toward Raiden, the ball rolling back into his hand. "What a joke. Ashina is nothing without its queen."
Raiden pumped his fist in the air before expanding his aura outwards. He had decided to not use to mulch energy preserving his strength, he looked towards the ball. "Everyone! We have to get this together! We are Ashina!! We are the protectors of peace!" He got into position, engravings, incanatations and written words appeared on his arm, that of ancient text in a scale like formation. "We will win this match!"
"The protectors of peace?" Tengoku walked back, his white aura was bubbling, almost like a pot overflowing. "You need to face the facts. Yoshiwara is the true symbol of peace. The era of Ashina is over. There's a new sheriff in town..and i'm coming to collect payment." Tengoku looked back at Raiden "This one is for you Raiden Otizawa. We're going to finish crushing you and then take home our other two wins."
