"Well this isn't what I expected. At all"
Vaden spoke up staring at the results at the screen.
Crack...
The next moment a cracking sound was heard and Drex tilted forward drawing the attention of everyone present.
"What the-"
A skeleton mask slowly started to form on his face.. the places where his eyes were meant to beĀ wereĀ hollowed out leaving black spaces. On top his head were a pair of jagged horns pointed forwards in both directions. His teeth were even more pronounced and his shoulder and spine grew spikes.
His overall build was more demon-like at this point and more stream escaped his body. He had a more bulkier build and the scar increased in both length and width.
Grrrr....
The hollowed spaces on his face suddenly lit up in blue light and dilated dots as pupils formed there.

.....
It shattered....
The form shattered like glass revealing Drex's human form inside bleeding from both eyes.
Cough...
He started to cough up blood in large amounts, wheezing and struggling to catch his breath.
"Are you alright?"
"I t-think just...a bit light headed"
Vaden looked back at Lia after examining the screen she finally spoke up...
"I'm just as confused as you are. I honestly have no idea what happened... The machine is supposed to have all access to devil contracts and special conditions. Meaning it has records of every known devil.. unless it's one of those devils"
"What do you mean"
She made her way towards a shelf that had an array of books. Shoving her hand inside she brought out a book with a pentagram on the cover.
Sitting down she opened the book to a certain page.
"The Unholy Trinity. I've been studying this class of devils and I can say they're a rather special class"
"Aren't devil class and devil breed the same?"
Drex asked
"Hardly. The class of a devil is a colony they belong to..
Devils were civilized enough to group themselves and create a hierarchy of power. Truly advanced creatures.. they were even kind enough to lend humanity a hand against their own kind in order to maintain balance hence the devil contracts you keep hearing about."
"On the other hand the breed of devils are just areas where a particular group thrives. For example there are Speed Demons, Assassins, Marksmen, Beasts and so on"
"Anyway the Unholy Trinity was a group of dangerous devils and that's basically all we know about them... We don't know the origins or the devils involved we only know that they were responsible for the Armageddon. That aside, we have no data on any of them; hell we don't even know their numbers sigh...."
Taking off her coat she stood up
"Thankfully i finally have a sample so I'll do further testing and i found this Chronicle that supposedly has info on some of devils in the Trinity so I'll check it out too"
Vaden stood up with Drex ready to leave
"Well we'll be on our way. Thanks for the help I'll be sure to comeback if any other thing comes up"
"Oh no problem at all i can't wait to see him again"
She smiled..
"See ya!!"

Yuri was still sitted on the rooftop, arms crossed, eyes closed it was already midday and he still hadn't made a move..
"Took you long enough"
Nightmare walked out of the shadows and made his way to the edge of the building
"I've been thinking...Ā Attacking areas with devil energy won't guarantee his capture after all I'm merely reclaiming the devil that possessed him by accident.... My goal is to open back the portal and grant the crossover of another devil since the first one was a failure so I might as well use the areas you found to do it"
"That isn't much of a problem as long as i get my bodies..."
"But it's strange... A devil wouldn't possess someone if there isn't any sort of compatibility or connection between them so why did that brat end up with it?
The annoying part is that we don't know what comes out of the portal and subjugating isn't even easy to being with. Moreover we haven't considered the failing factors either"
Yuri looked at him
"That's why we have three locations right?.. relax and watch. If it fails we move on to the next location.. there's no way you'd be unsuccessful three times after all third time's the charm right?"
Standing up, a black puddle formed at his feet and devils began to spawn from it
"I just have to kill him when he shows up"
With that be jumped off the rooftop and directly in front of the orphanage. Soon the swarm of devils rushed in after him wreaking havoc on the surrounding

Back at the academy the alarms sounded.... Different personnels were moving in all directions looking for the location and further info on the situation.
"Huh"
Drex was lying down in his room when he noticed the unrest.
Checking the window, he could see a lot of people moving around and chattering here and there.
"What's going on..?"
"What are you still doing here didn't you hear?! we have to go..."
"Yeah but you could've at least knocked.. would it kill you to respect a man's privacy?"
Smack
"GET YOUR FUCKING ASS DOWNSTAIRS!!!"
"YOWWWW!!!"
"An A rank devil has been spotted in Midtown and from the looks of it, it isn't pretty"
When they made it downstairs vaden was in front of a monitor accessing the situation.
The personnel in charge was scanning the affect areas. The red dots marked the numbers of devils and their locations...
"What's the hotspot"
Vaden asked... As soon as he did the personnel zoomed towards a particular area before speaking up
"Midtown Orphanage"
Turning back to the squad vaden spoke
"Okay so your mission is to take care of that. Clear that area and eliminate the devils. Keep civilian casualties to the bearest minimum"
"Yes sir!!"
They chorused and left .
Yuri was already in front of the orphanage. He took a few stepsĀ forward ignoring the chaos behind him.
Knock.... Knock... BooM!!
He blew the door open and walked inside calmly strolling towards the desk in front of him..
"Greetings to the inhabitants of this fine establishment!!"
Making a noisy entrance, he spoke to the lady in front of him.
When the lady looked up she saw a grotesque creature bathed in blood. His pupiless eyes stared into hers and tendrils swaying around occasionally hitting the walls and desk. He smiled revealing his jagged teeth smeered with blood. Behind him lay two dead bodies.
She screamed and tried to run away Yuri's smile dropped
"Hmmm... I thought smiling would actually avoid this... I heard that you're less of a threat when you smile but I guess that didn't work...You humans are really confusing "
Saying that he shot her through the back killing her instantly. He went over to the dead body and squatted.
"Well your lives don't really matter I'm supposed to demolish this place anyway... Sigh I'd like to get less blood on me tho"
Sniff sniff
"Hmmm"
Standing up, he went towards the passage way and saw a child cowering in fear...
"Ohhh so it was just you.. are you scared little one"
Shivering, the child started to scream. He screamed and tried to escape but his tiny legs didn't get him far.
"You're too loud y'know that"
He grabbed the kid by the face and slowly applied pressure to his cheeks.
The child tried to struggle and writhed trying to break free.
His eyes were going white due to the lack of oxygen as tears welled up in his eyes.
"I love it when they struggle"
Splat
Applying more pressure, his face gave in turning into a little blood grenade firing blood on Yuri's face. He didn't mind as he dropped his lifeless body on the ground.
His mangled face fell flat and blood and brain essence oozed out. His bones protruding in different directions and eyeballs staring into nothingness.
Yuri went over and pilled a body part. A bloodied bone with flesh around it still connected to the main body. He pulled some more and the body essence slowly drooped off like saliva revealing a disturbing sight for any other normal human being...
He took a bite...
He chewed...
"Hmmm"
The flesh stuck to different corners of his mouth as he used his tongue to gather everything and swallow.
"I never really like killed eating children cuz flesh always gets stuck in my teeth but i must say it's quite delicious... It's been a while"
He stared into the eyes of the dead child
"C'mon don't look at me like that at least you aren't completely useless....
You orphan kids don't contribute to anything; abandoned by your parents for one reason or the other some even get themselves killed protecting you. You all are just spawns of mistakes and regrets. Well at least you'll be helpful to me here. Make sure to watch closely alright...
What now?"
After saying that he felt a presence... it was faint but quite noticable 'not something you'd feel from a hunter ' he thought... But what could it be?
Looking closely he saw a child; female this time hiding between two shelves ..
Walking over he destroyed one of the shelves and was met with a child.. a very small sized one.
"What do we have here"
Her brown short hair stuck to her forehead due to sweating profusely. Her hazel eyes stared into his with fear clearly written all over her face.
"There's something special about you that's for sure if you make a sound you die... Got it?"
She slowly nodded as Yuri grabbed her
"I'll give you the grace of watching me tear this place down!
And maybe....just maybe i won't eat you"
