Story Arc: Nightmare Devil Arc

Sigh....
"That technique took a lot out of me.. sometimes i think the penalty is a bit much for just hunting someone down.
Well at least I got some leads I just need to recover well enough before..... Hmm?"
Yuri's thought was cut off when he saw a devil perched on a rooftop; it's tendrils swaying in tandem with the direction of the wind.
"Kill... Kill.. kill... I'll kill him I'll kill them both...."
"What do we have here..."
Yuri latched onto the rooftop before speaking up.
The other devil was clearly shaken.
"Ugh... Who are you??!"
'Hmm rather agitated'
Yuri thought.. it was unusual to see a devil this agitated and he wanted to know why
"Why so jumpy... Don't tell me....you're actually scared of me"
Yuri spoke with confidence. He loved seeing the scared looks on the faces of people and devils that saw him.
"I... I don't even know who you are why would I be scared of you?!"
Yuri frowned.
"Huhh...."
'he's clearly spooked but if it's not by me then by who?'
"I'll kill them both... I swear it!!"
'Kill who though'
"And anyone who stands in my way....."
At this point the devil rushed to attack Yuri who dodged by stepping to the side. The devil wanted to counter but Yuri dodged again hitting him in the back. The next few moments, he was dodging and exchanging blows...
"Argh"
'Quite an amateur fighting style either he was recently born or mmm?'
His thoughts were interrupted when the devil launched at him slamming Yuri into the building across and in the process startling some civilians. Now there was noticeable unrest and chaos as people were trying to get to safety...
"Great"
The dust cleared and Yuri walked out to meet the sight of people running for their lives. The devil swung his tendrils at him forcing Yuri to dodge.
'Impressive his tendrils are quite powerful '
Each miss on each swing only meant that either someone died or it destroyed something killing people in the process.
'This is getting risky... The city is surrounded by censors designed to alert the agency once unregistered devil energy spiked...'
A tendril swung by barely scraping his face.
'So does that mean I have to beat this guy and avoid getting caught? But I'm too drained for that

"FUCK IT"
Saying this, Yuri ripped the hand off a nearby civilian; tearing into it with his teeth and swallowing the flesh. The moment he did, he felt his strength return and immediately rushed at the devil whilst dodging the tendrils and driving it into a nearby wall.
Blood sprayed everywhere as Yuri repeatedly slammed into the devil while laughing...
Some civilians watched in horror as they witnessed a devil tearing its own kind.
After he finished Yuri wrapped a tendril around the devil and was prepared to take it with him but the devil kept trying to wriggle free.
"Still have some strength left to resist huh?"
He picked the devil up to eye level.
"It's futile"
With that Yuri pierced into the chest of the devil stopping right inside his heart
"I won't kill now though i still need answers..."
Saying that Yuri kept and disappeared into the night sky leaving the mess of the body parts behind him..
The cave was dimly lit with very little light from the moon getting in...
The walls were damp and the ceiling dripped with blood from half eaten victims.
On one side, Nightmare sat in a meditation posting in the center of a devil's pentagram and on the other side Yuri sat facing the captured devil who was still wrapped in it's own tendrils.
"So...."
Yuri spoke, Nightmare stood..
"I'm assuming you have a plan right because we can't just charge in like a couple of idiots"
"Calm yourself of course I have a plan. How about you? How's your hunt going? i see you brought a price to add to our oh so beautiful collection"
Nightmare spoke sarcastically.
"Nope... He's pretty good at hiding"
"I see"
"Although I used a technique that lets me scan an area of about 700 meters and it pinpoints locations with the highest devil energy readings"
"Interesting"
"At the moment i napped out three areas...
Midtown Orphanage, Grail temple and the cemetery in the South"
"So these are all the leads we have.."
"Apparently. But that skill uses too much devil energy and it often leaves me drained so i don't use it much... Either way we know where to start but I'll be out of commission till then"
"Hmmm"
"Well then....."
Yuri sat back in front of the devil he caught and ripped it's leg off
"Arrggh!!!! w...what are you doing"
He roared in pain as Yuri took a bite out of it.
"You're a cannibal?"
Nightmare asked
"Tastes pretty good y'want some?"
"Ugh"
Yuri turned back to the devil
"Earlier you were agitated so I'll just cut to the chase... Why?"
The devil sat up
"I... I was unable to prove my love"
He spoke defeated.. both Yuri and Nightmare were speechless and stared in disbelief... But these devil continued
"I wanted to show her how much I wanted her but she didn't look my way so i decided to take matters into my hands..."
Knowing where this was going, Nightmare asked
"So what happened..?"
"I was attacked.. my plans were ruined by a single kid he... Argghhhh!!!!"
Midway through his sentence Yuri tore off his second leg. Nightmare scowled
"Sorry sorry.."
He said with a mouth filled with raw demon flesh.
After calming down the medevil continued
"We was fast and had strength of a grown man. He had eyes that could bore holes in your soul with a face carrying a horrendous scar.."
The other devil's froze as they instantly caught on.
"This boy... What was the color of his eyes?"
Nightmare asked
"It was an eerie ash color that glowed yellow from time to time"
As soon as he answered Nightmare's face turned sour. He turned to Yuri.
"That's him.. that's the one i told you to hunt down"
Sensing the shift in atmosphere Yuri understood that this was more serious than he thought
"Wow this kid really gave you a run for your money huh?"
He tossed the half eaten leg aside and stepped closer to the devil.
"Well if it's a hybrid you want it's a hybrid you'll get. Dead or Alive"
He ripped the devil's heart out
"Aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!!!"
He screamed and writhed then slowly his body started to wither, his tendrils shrank and soon it decomposed as he became one with the dirt.
Yuri brought the heart close to his mouth and swallowed it.
"Phew.... I don't always like eating devil's but i have to admit it's pretty satisfying... maybe when this is over I'll focused on hunting down more devils...."
Then the spikes on his spinal cord sank back into his skin as his own tendrils sprouted in their place. It whipped all over the place breaking rocks and denting the walls.
"Seems you've been put back into commission"
Opening his mouth as blood dripped out, Yuri answered
"It seems so"
