Chapter-
"Let's start this already, I'm exhausted" Pawan yawned.
In Keith's class Pawan previously explained the synchronisation magic to his class, they already picked their pairs and everything.
"Pick me prince!" a group of girls laughed.
"of course girls will swarm to him, pathetic" a boy sneered
Keith stood up suddenly, his legs leading him towards Megumi's direction.
"Why choose me in front of your crazy fangirls?" her ears twitched.
"So they leave me alone" he rolled his eyes. "besides you're the only one I actually know here."
"Aw, how sweet, someone's lonely." she mocked.
"Shut your trap, let's deal with this already."
"Okay okay, i can smell your fumes from here" she stood up.
"i don't have any fumes you fox" he gritted.
"fox? really?" she chuckled.
She stood up as they headed towards a mountain.
"Whatever, I have wind magic, I can make thick fogs that causes internal damage in the body"
"Wow, you sound like a villain" he rolled his eyes.
"Says you, why come to this school if you'll be caught anyway, sounds stupid"
"Urgh, do you ever shut up? You're worse than Kieran. My magic, wind magic- "
"no way" she mock gasped. "I still find it weird how you have magic and not your sister"
"like I said, I can create high density winds and attack people" he continued. "pressure magic, I can make stuff with my wind magic, I guess, I'm just better than my sister"
She laughed. "So when you cast your spell, you say wind magic- wind magic?"
"no you idiot, I say pressure magic, how can you be so dense"
"I'm not dense you weirdo, it literally feels like you don't know your own magic." she huffed "That's so pathetic." She covered her mouth with her tail.
"Let's start this stupid thing already."
They held hands as the incarnation started.
"Wind magic- wind magic and fog!"
They both chanted as a thick fog surrounded them, before long Keith created wind blades. after a while, they both stopped.
"These lessons are so annoying." she spoke.
"Whatever you say," he said.
—------
"Uh you all since I want you all to aim higher, I want you to master this synchronisation perfectly." Kasem explained
"Do what? Work with these losers?" Lucy fanned herself dramatically.
"Urgh, snobby women, if you don't want to work with us, perhaps you should go back to healing." a male student spoke
"I assure you, I can be anywhere, a snap from my dad's fingers and I'm there"
"Your dad's money by the way" he chirped in.
"I'll inherit soon, don't be jealous."
"Okay guys, calm down, just get into groups. Except Thalia, don't worry, I'll explain what you can do" Kasem clapped
"Oh right, a princess without magic, how do you do things?" Ming mocked.
"I do things just fine actually," Thalia replied calmly.
"I can't possibly imagine having no magic, I'll rather be born a peasant."
"Ming, don't say that" Lucy gasped.
"You're right Lucy, a peasant is too low for my standards."
"You two realise, with or without money, I am a princess, you two are peasants to me" Thalia clapped back.
They both looked at each other. "True, but you always seem to hang out with…. Those peasants" Lucy chuckled. "You're a princess, stop giving the low class your attention."
"Right? In what world do princesses stoop so low" Ming added.
They both flicked their hair before exiting the room.
"How annoying," Thalia sighed.
"Well, since that was cleared… ish, we need to have a talk about what to do in situations." Kasem sat on his chair. "I'm not here to criticize you about having magic or not, you shouldn't feel useless because of it. In fact, it's perfect."
"It is?" she replied.
"Yes! You can be great at sneak attacks, or as I call it support. When two or more people synchronise, all though you can join in, you could, after it's complete, since it drains quite an amount of magic, you can snoop in, distract the enemy, and help your fellow comrades to recover!"
"Okay, I understand, it sounds fun!" she said
"Yep! You've improved on your weaknesses, you analyse the ground and situation before attacking to avoid many injuries. "
"Yeah, it was quite hard."
"Yeah, trying to overcome weakness is very tough, you're doing well, i think you should start doing the same for other solids, for example metal, glass and more"
Her eyes widened "won't that hurt?"
"You won't do it with your bare hands, your friend Ravi told me he was making a material where you can do what you do best, with less chance of injuries," he smiled. "And it has quite a good supply of mana, once he's done you can slowly train with other solids, it puts you at an advantage against enemies." he paused. "I must say, your friend's imagination is simply marvellous!"
"Yeah, Ravi is insanely smart," she smiled.
"Indeed. Until then, you should try to apply more pressure, not enough to hurt yourself, but enough to create more damage, the bigger the hit the more damage!"
"Right, I will," she smiled. "I'll start now" Thalia smiled before leaving the room.
—-----
Nerina laid on the ground with exhaustion, while Kieran touched some flowers.
Without warning an icicle landed next to Nerina.
"Huh? What's this" Nerina turned her head. "A paper?" she gently took it, before unfolding it.
"Helloo Nerina! I wish we could've been a trio but I'm happy you found a partner!!" the writing wrote, a sense of familiarity filled Nerina before continuing.
"How's pairing up with Kieran like? Make sure to tell me how yours went- Kento" a little doodle was drawn on the side.
"Is someone trying to kill you or something?" Kieran joked.
"Not really, it's just Kento and Kyomi"
"Oh right, they probably did a location spell, handy" He replied.
—----------
"Congratulations everyone! I heard good results from Sabine that most of you completed your synchronisations!" Nami cheered. "We will move into the next topic, managing mana!"
"Huh? Why?" Ha Joon said.
"It's important. In order to move to the next level, which will be difficult" she smiled mischievously,
"I'll let you all have an early weekend for all your hard work, so class is dismissed!"
"Peak!" Kavin cheered.
