Chapter 12 - HIS FATE

As they stood there, lost in the love that they shared, Wale couldn't help but wonder what the future held for them. Would they be able to maintain the spark that had brought them together, or would it fizzle out like so many other relationships?

Maya, sensing Wale's thoughts, looked up at him and smiled. "What's on your mind, baby?" she asked, her voice soft and soothing.

Wale smiled back, feeling a sense of comfort and security wash, as he gazed into her eyes. "I'm thinking about us, about our future," he said, his voice low and husky.

Maya's eyes sparkled with curiosity, and she leaned in closer to Wale. "What about our future?" she asked, her voice filled with excitement.

Wale took a deep breath, feeling a sense of trepidation wash over him. "I was thinking about our dreams, our goals, our aspirations," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "I was thinking about how we can make them happen, together."

Maya's face lit up with a bright smile, and she nodded enthusiastically. "I love the way you think, Wale," she said, her voice filled with admiration. "Let's make it happen, let's chase our dreams, together."

As they stood there, lost in the love that they shared, Wale knew that he had found his partner, his soulmate, his best friend. He knew that they would face challenges, but he also knew that they would overcome them, together.

The room was filled with a warm, golden light, and Wale felt his heart fill with love and gratitude. He knew that he had found his forever with Maya, and that their love would be the guiding force that would see them through the ups and downs of life.

As they stood there, holding each other, Wale knew that their love would last a lifetime, that it would endure through all the joys and the sorrows. He knew that they would grow old together, that they would face the challenges of life side by side.

And as they stood there, lost in the love that they shared, Wale knew that he had found his home, his sanctuary, his safe haven. He knew that he had found his soulmate, his partner, his best friend.

The silence between them was comfortable, filled with a deep understanding and a deep love. They didn't need to say anything, they just needed to be.

And as they stood there, the world outside faded away, and all that was left was the two of them, lost in the love that they shared.

Wale felt a sense of peace wash over him, a sense of contentment that he had never felt before. He knew that he had found his soulmate, his partner, his best friend.

And as they stood there, holding each other, Wale knew that their love would be the one thing that would always bring them back to each other, the one thing that would always make them feel whole.

As they stood there, time stood still, and all that mattered was the love they shared. They were each other's home, each other's haven, and they knew that they would always be there for each other.

Wale felt a sense of peace wash over him, a sense of contentment that he had never felt before. He knew that he had found his soulmate, his partner, his best friend.

Maya, sensing Wale's emotions, looked up at him and smiled. "I love you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Wale's heart swelled with emotion. "I love you too," he replied, his voice filled with feeling.

As they stood there, the world outside faded away, and all that was left was the two of them, lost in the love that they shared.

And as they stood there, holding each other, Wale knew that their love would be the guiding force that would see them through, the anchor that would keep them grounded, the safe haven where they could always find peace and comfort.

Within a short period of time,, they were both lost in the love they shared, but were immediately disturbed by the sound of wale phone, which suddenly broke the silence. He pulled it out of his pocket, wondering who could be calling at this hour.

Maya looked up at him, a hint of concern in her eyes. "Who is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Wale looked at the screen, and his eyes widened in shock. "It's Victor," he said, his voice low and menacing.

Maya's eyes widened in fear, and she clheld onto Wale's arm. "What does he want?" she whispered.

Wale's eyes narrowed, his grip on the phone tightening. "I don't know," he said, his voice cold. "But I'm going to find out."

He answered the phone, his voice firm and steady. "Victor," he said, his tone icy.

Victor's voice came through the phone, dripping with malice. "Wale, my dear brother," he said. "I see you're still alive. I guess I underestimated you."

Wale's grip on the phone tightened, his anger rising. "What do you want, Victor?" he growled.

Victor's laughter sent shivers down Wale's spine. "Oh, I just wanted to wish you a happy new life," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "But I think I'll have to cut that short. You see, Wale, I've been thinking... and I've decided that you're not going to live happily ever after."

The phone went dead, and Wale's eyes locked with Maya's. They knew that Victor was not going to give up, that he would stop at nothing to destroy them.

And as they stood there, frozen in fear, Wale knew that their battle was far from over. In fact, it was only just beginning
