Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 The Power of Time and Space

In autumn at Hogwarts, sunlight streams through the castle windows, casting dappled shadows on the ancient stone walls.

The air was filled with a peculiar smell, a mixture of old books and fresh grass.

Ever since that adventure in the forbidden area that night, Harry has been like a spinning top that's been injected with adrenaline, going to the Quidditch pitch early every morning to practice.

He swung the Nimbus 2000, drawing graceful arcs in the air with such force that it seemed he was going to tear the entire stadium apart.

Moen felt like he had a perpetual motion machine installed, never getting tired, jumping around every day, and he didn't know what was so fun about that broom.

Hermione, however, remained as diligent as a bee, spending every day in the library, eagerly learning all sorts of magical knowledge.

Her figure was always moving between the bookshelves, constantly flipping through one thick book after another. Her focused gaze seemed to see right through the books.

She always wanted to acquire more knowledge, as if knowledge was everything to her. Sometimes Moen felt that she was like a learning machine without any emotions.

The world of top students is terrifying.

Ron continued to enjoy his leisurely time, playing wizard chess with Harry every day, engaging in fierce battles on the chessboard.

Or perhaps they're in the common lounge, chatting with everyone about all sorts of trivial topics.

He's like someone who lives in the moment, enjoying every day. His smile seems to infect everything around him.

He seems to never have any worries, and he has an indifferent attitude towards everything. He's such a carefree guy, but that's also what makes him so lovable.

It's no longer the kind of character with little presence that appears in movies.

Meanwhile, Moen was busy exploring the "mutation" occurring within his body.

Since coming into contact with the power of spacetime, his magic seems to have become a "modified version," not only greatly increasing in power but also coming with all sorts of strange "side effects."

The Levitation Charm is no longer simply about making objects float, but about controlling objects to jump in the air, like teleportation.

He tried to cast a levitation spell and saw the quill leap in the air, its form flashing by so quickly that its trajectory was almost impossible to catch.

The Unlocking Spell can directly break magical seals, and its power is comparable to a "chainsaw".

He pointed his wand at a tightly closed door, and the lock was instantly torn to shreds. The door frame cracked from the shockwave of the spell, demonstrating its astonishing destructive power.

Sneaking around is no longer an option.

The Restoration Spell now resembles a time-reversal spell.

When he placed a broken vase on the table and gently touched it with his wand, the vase seemed to have returned to the past. Not only was it restored to its original state, but even the missing patterns seemed to have been re-etched by time, making it brand new and flawless.

The stun spell can hit targets at different times, making it difficult to defend against.

He pointed his wand at a wooden stake in the distance and cast a stun spell. The stake was dented, and at the same time, a ripple-like pattern appeared, as if he had hit the timeline.

As for his petrification spell, it can directly trap enemies in a spacetime turbulence, causing them to repeat the same actions in their consciousness, thus trapping them in an endless cycle of reincarnation.

He struck a scarecrow with a petrification spell, and the scarecrow was instantly petrified. Its figure became blurry, as if it were jumping between different timelines, which looked very strange.

But what's most special is his invisibility spell.

Under the influence of the power of spacetime, the invisibility spell seemed to be given new life, allowing it to blend more perfectly into its surroundings.

The invisibility effect far surpassed that of a regular invisibility spell; his figure seemed to vanish from the world entirely.

Even his aura is impossible to detect; he can even use an invisibility spell to switch his body back and forth between different timelines, making his actions even more unpredictable.

There was also the "time-space pause" that he found extremely troublesome, which was one of the manifestations of the "time-space manipulation" ability he acquired in the forbidden book area.

When used, his body seems to transform into a corner of time, allowing him to control the speed of the river of time, and even stop the flow of time and space in a small area for a short period of time.

It wasn't without its costs; with each use, he could feel the magic power rapidly draining away, and the duration was very short.

He is not yet able to fully control this powerful force.

But compared to before gaining control of time, it is already much more powerful.

"Awesome, now I can easily beat ten of my previous selves," Moen thought to himself, a slight smile playing on his lips.

During this period of practice, his magic power also broke through the 100 mark, equivalent to that of a third-grade student.

Moen opened the system panel.

Looking at the system panel, a hint of helplessness flashed in Moen's eyes. The system task was no longer being triggered. He had tried many methods, but in the end, he had no choice but to give up.

He wasn't quite sure about the appearance of the time sensor, and when he asked the system, it didn't answer, so he had to give up.

His time-sensing ability allows him to perceive the flow of time around him when he concentrates, and he can vaguely see some blurry images that seem to be constantly flickering.

Like a constantly changing television screen, to truly grasp the sense of time after it stabilizes, more knowledge in this area is needed.

Therefore, he devoted all his energy to understanding spacetime magic, carefully studying various magical texts in an attempt to find more information about spacetime magic.

He frequently visited the library to read various books about time and space magic.

But he discovered that time-space magic was like a bottomless black hole, full of unknowns and mysteries.

Moen also consulted Professor Flitwick about some questions regarding time-space magic. Professor Flitwick seemed to have a great deal of knowledge about time-space magic and explained a lot of theories about it to him, which benefited him greatly.

Hermione also started appearing frequently in the library, seemingly researching time magic as well, as if she were competing with him.

Harry and Ron, on the other hand, were still preparing for the Quidditch match, seemingly completely immersed in the atmosphere of the game.
