Chapter 14 - No License, No Luck, Only a GT3

November 18, 2025...

In the past few days, Uncle Berk woke up in the hospital, and when Leo went to visit him, he understood why there was such a thick golden thread on Uncle Berk's head before he fainted.

Due to the blow he received, Uncle Berk had forgotten everything about the last day. This meant that Leo was spared the trouble of making many explanations.

The unnatural smile on Leo's face always made Uncle Berk a bit suspicious, but he ignored this anomaly while asking questions about Leo's healthy hair and healthy skin.

Leo, in turn, offered the excuse that he was wearing a wig and that his skin had healed with medicine sent by his father from abroad.

Fortunately, no doctor was listening to their conversation, and Leo's lies were not exposed.

... present time ...

Many young people who came to the marketplace with their girlfriends turned their heads at the sound of the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 passing very loudly through the main avenue in the city square.

Even with Leo's reckless and shameless personality, he felt a bit embarrassed by these glances.

The car's engine was truly very loud, which was why he hadn't been able to drive his car comfortably, even though three days had passed since the incident with Uncle Berk. He finally reached the end of his patience and put pictures of the vehicle on the internet, listing it for sale at a price of 1 billion won.

Leo thought the car wouldn't sell for a long time, but surprisingly, today a person who introduced himself as the manager of Korea's official GT3 team contacted him and asked Leo to bring the vehicle outside of Daegu for inspection.

After a brief search, Leo saw that it was an official GT3 racing team and set off with peace of mind.

The car's design and its roar, like a wild animal, made Leo feel good for the first ten minutes. That is, until he entered a main street where traffic started to become congested.

Leo realized at that moment that if he got caught by the traffic police with such a noisy vehicle, the car would definitely be impounded, and he would also be fined for driving without a license.

For a while, Leo carefully watched for any change in the luck tubes, but he saw nothing.

If he was going to encounter a traffic police officer soon, he would definitely know about it beforehand thanks to his golden finger.

Thinking about all this, Leo was fortunately not as unlucky as usual this time and did not encounter any traffic police.

It didn't take long for Leo to see a truck with "Solite Indigo Racing" written on it on the highway outside the city after turning into side streets at the first opportunity and reaching the main road that bypassed the city.

Camping chairs were set up outside the truck, and a few people were having a barbecue in the open air.

Hearing the sound of Leo's vehicle from afar, everyone turned their heads in that direction and stood up in surprise.

Seeing this, Leo understood that they hadn't believed him on the phone. Clearly, these people hadn't expected Leo to actually own an Aston Martin Vantage GT3.

But Leo was wrong.

In fact, this team never thought he was lying. They thought Leo had bought a car they couldn't even afford through his connections. And Leo must have been bored and was going to sell his car to them.

The real surprise for this team, consisting of engineers, the driver, and the manager, was that Leo had driven a race car onto the highway to bring it here.

What they expected was a box truck, like their own, to bring the Aston Martin here.

Thinking that he wouldn't see this car again after today, Leo decided to do what had been on his mind for a long time.

Accompanied by the surprised looks of the pit crew, the Aston Martin was speeding up instead of slowing down as it approached them.

When everyone realized what was happening, they stood up and started running away, leaving the barbecue and chairs behind.

Just as even the professional race car driver thought the vehicle would run over the barbecue set, Leo increased the brake hydraulic pressure to a near-maximum level and turned the steering wheel fully to the right.

To the astonished looks of the entire pit crew, the car turned sideways a meter before hitting the barbecue and the driver's door opened from the inside.

Leo dangled his feet out of the car, sitting in the driver's seat, like an ordinary person who had parked his car near the barbecue because he couldn't find a spot.

As Leo leaned his head out to look at the meat cooking on the barbecue, the professional driver was the first to recover.

"That was!!! Waoww! Are you a professional too? Or are you a liar who says this is just a hobby?"

Leo smiled and looked at the racer, whose face he had seen on the internet this morning, before answering. "I am a professional liar."

"Hahaha. So be it."

With their conversation, the other people around relaxed and came out from behind the truck where they were hiding.

Surprisingly, not a single chair had overturned, even after Leo's maneuver.

But no one was interested in sitting in the chairs. They gathered around the Aston Martin as if they had seen a car they had dreamed of for a long time.

"What an entrance! I was disappointed thinking that this baby was suffering in the hands of a rich guy who didn't know how to drive. But I guess my worries were unfounded."

At the words of the man in his mid-forties, Leo smiled, got out of the car, and allowed the car to quickly fall into the hands of the technical staff.

After all, this was a track vehicle and needed to be thoroughly checked before purchase.

The next moment, the vehicle was taken inside the truck, which was full of technological equipment, and only three people remained at the barbecue.
