A scene like the one Leo had been worried about didn't happen after all.
Leo got out of the car and looked at the manager who was scolding his own technicians.
"It clearly says in the car's documents that this vehicle was manufactured only three days ago! And you still dare to defend yourself to me!"
"But sir. The documents might have been altered. I inspected it with my own hands, and I'm certain this car is at least three years old, and I'm sure its maintenance was done poorly."
The head technician's words were supported by the approving gestures of the technicians behind him.
At that moment, Leo started thinking about something.
Considering how many stupid things the system had done so far, maybe this car really was three years old.

3 The technicians had made a deal with a car brand's sales agents and were trying to manipulate the manager into buying a specific brand.
After thinking about the third possibility, a terrifying idea came to Leo's mind.
Could these idiot technicians have damaged his car inside the truck just for a bit of extra cash?
He was about to run to the car to confirm this, but he forced himself to calm down. Even if they had, unless he called the police, there would be no way to compensate for the damage.
Even if the police came, it would be hard to prove he wasn't the one who damaged the car earlier.
While the argument between the manager and the technicians continued, Leo frowned as he tried to think of a clean way to resolve the situation.
