"Whoosh…whoosh…"
The speed at which Naruto was swinging people was so fast that the sound of the wind was roaring across the training grounds.
"Whew, feel good now?"
After spinning him around a few hundred times, Naruto stopped.
"Ugh…so dizzy…"
The moment Naruto let go of Rock Lee, he collapsed onto the ground like a pile of mud, covering his mouth to keep from vomiting.
Since Rock Lee hadn't fully used Hidden Lotus, his bones and muscles weren't completely broken. His injuries were, at best, moderate.
"The winner of this match is Naruto Uzumaki!"
Looking at Rock Lee, who was sprawled on the ground like a dead dog, foam spilling from his mouth, Hayate Gekko immediately determined the victor.
"Heh heh, bye-bye, bushy brows."
Stretching his muscles, Naruto Uzumaki walked towards the stands with a relaxed expression.
"Ah… Lee… my Lee…"
Might Guy quickly leaped down from the stands the moment Naruto left, rushing towards Rock Lee.
"Is… is it Teacher Guy? Ugh…"
Dizzy and seeing stars, Rock Lee finally couldn't hold back the churning in his stomach and vomited.
"Lee, hold on… Where's the doctor? Where's the doctor?"
Might Guy roared at both sides a few times. The next moment, two medics came over with a stretcher and carried Rock Lee away…
The following matches didn't change much, only Kin was up against Gaara, Hinata against Shikamaru, and Neji against Kiba.
The winners were still Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke, Gaara, Neji, Shikamaru, Temari, Shino Aburame, Kankuro, and Tsurugi Misumi.
"Well, all the victors have been decided. Then, the preliminary rounds of the third Chunin Exams are now over."
The Third Hokage leisurely took a puff of his pipe and exhaled a mouthful of smoke, "As for the finals, they will be held one month from now."
"Huh?"

Jiraiya looked at Naruto and patted his shoulder encouragingly.
"What is it?"
Naruto Uzumaki looked at Jiraiya with a helpless expression. "I knew that look on your face meant nothing good was about to happen..."
"Hehe, don't complain yet, this time it's a good thing..."
Jiraiya looked at Naruto with a mysterious expression. "I'm going to take you to see an absolute beauty."

Smacking his lips a few times, Naruto rubbed his sleepy eyes and turned his head to look out the window. "Is it already late at night? Phew… I actually slept for so long, from dusk until now…"
"Eh?"
Looking out into the distance, the purple hair fluttering in the moonlight immediately caught Naruto's attention. "Yugao Uzuki?"
He reached out and moved Haku to the side, covering her with a blanket. Then, Naruto flashed outside…
"Sister Yugao, what are you doing here?"
Hopping onto a rooftop, Naruto Uzumaki looked at Yugao Uzuki and asked with a puzzled expression.
"Sniff, sniff..."
Smelling the scent of blood in the air, Naruto frowned deeply. "Sister Yugao, why is there a smell of blood here?"
"It's Hayate's..."
Killing intent flashed in Yugao Uzuki's eyes. "I must avenge him!"
"Sister Yugao, you must be very sad that Brother Hayate is dead, right? After all, he was your boyfriend..."
Naruto tugged at the corner of his mouth, his mouth inexplicably bitter.
"Huh? Hayate was just one of my many comrades, not what you're calling a boyfriend..."
Yugao Uzuki's beautiful eyes were filled with confusion. "Why would you think that? Did someone tell you?"
"No, no one told me. I just guessed... guessed..."
Naruto awkwardly scratched the back of his head, forcing a smile. But inside, he felt inexplicably happy and relieved.
"You..."
Amused by Naruto's comical expression, Yugao Uzuki chuckled. Like a big sister, she bent down and gently tapped Naruto's forehead with a slender finger, scolding him, "You're so young, and you're already thinking about this kind of thing. Boyfriends and girlfriends... Be good, and don't think about it anymore, understand?"
"Yes, yes!"

Yugao thought for a moment and nodded in agreement, after all, she had witnessed Naruto's strength firsthand.
"Right, Yugao-nee-san, wait a moment."
Naruto grinned at Yugao, and under her curious gaze, he called out to the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's consciousness within his mind.
"Nine-Tails, can you track the scent of the enemy who is stained with blood?"
Naruto shouted at the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox.
"Alright, I'll try."
The Nine-Tailed Demon Fox released its chakra to sense the area. "Kid, I've tracked them, but there are two identical scents heading in completely opposite directions."
"Opposite directions?"
Naruto frowned. "Could the enemy have anticipated this and split up, or did they disband after killing Hayate Gekko?"
"Sister Yugao, I can sense the enemy's direction, the one with Hayate-san's blood on them, but it's strange. There are two scents heading in different directions."
Naruto explained what he knew to Yugao Uzuki.
"Two different directions?"
Yugao Uzuki furrowed her brow, thinking for a moment, then suddenly understood. "Right, I remember now. Before you arrived, there were a few Anbu with me. They took Hayate's body. They went in that direction."
"Then there's no doubt."
Looking in the direction Yugao Uzuki's finger pointed, Naruto nodded and raised his arm, pointing in a different direction. "Sister Yugao, the enemy went that way."
"Yes."
Glancing at the direction Naruto indicated, Yugao Uzuki nodded slightly, her eyes cold. "Naruto, let's go."
"Alright!"
With a single reply, Naruto and Yugao Uzuki transformed into two streaks of light and shot off into the distance...
