Lidaz landed perfectly in the village that had previously fallen victim to the ferocity of the monster herd. There were many soldiers clearing the rubble and collecting the bodies of the villagers. The villagers who had fled had also returned to their villages.
Many of them were crying over the deaths of their parents, husbands, children, and relatives.
"Why didn't you come here sooner? Because you came late, I had to lose my child!"
Hearing his words, Kazien immediately approached the man who was glaring at him.
"Instead of thanking us, you're blaming us? If only I had known it would end up like this, I wouldn't have helped you!"
The man glared even more as if he wanted to vent his anger. And Alvin tried to calm Kazien so that his emotions wouldn't be provoked.
"How far do you think this place is from our territory, huh? Have you ever traveled to our territory by horse? Speak with your brains, not your emotions!"
Everyone in the village fell silent as they saw Kazien's anger.
"When you've done your best but are still blamed, how do you feel? You must be annoyed too, right?"
The man couldn't deny it. He immediately fell silent and could only lower his head with mixed feelings.
"What is your defense? Just say it and don't worry about my noble status!"
"Why are you late? If only you had come sooner, my son wouldn't have died because of those monsters!"
"You should ask the landlord about that! Just so you know! I came here and killed all those monsters without hesitation! I also sold all those monsters at the guild, and the money will be given to all of you through Duke Hubert!"
Kazien took out the Silver Pholidota from his storage dimension.
"It was because of this monster's sudden rampage for no apparent reason that made those monsters attack you!"
Everyone was shocked and silent when they saw a large monster that appeared out of nowhere. But the man knelt beside the monster's body, crying. He was crying for his son who had been killed by the monster's attack.
"If you want to be sad, be sad until you're satisfied! But after that, get up and don't let yourself be trapped in sadness forever. Because that will definitely lead you to destruction!"
After returning that monster to his dimensional storage space, Kazien left and climbed onto Lidaz's back with Alvin.
"Father, I leave the rest to you!"
They left the village. Everyone watched them leave from the mainland.
Another man approached the man who had previously blamed Kazien befofe.
"You're such a fool! Do you think you're the only one who's lost? I've lost my wife and children too, but I never wanted to blame him!"
On the other hand, Duke Hubert watched the griffon fly away from the village.
He truly was a great leader. Even I, a duke, am ashamed of him. Even though he's a noble from another region, he was so quick to save the lives of those not from his own. Elgard must be very lucky to have a son like him.
"Elgard, is your son really gay?"
"You're right! He only likes cute-faced men. I know what you're talking about. But unfortunately, no one will be able to replace Alvin's place in his heart."
"Is that high elf that precious in his eyes?"
"That's the truth, Hubert! Since a long time ago, he really wanted an elf to be his wife. It was as if the world was on his side and his wish suddenly came true. Kazien felt that Alvin was his destiny. And vice versa. Alvin felt that Kazien was his destiny."
Duke Hubert also understood a little about their relationship.
"Do you have a daughter?"
"Yes! Her name is Ritalia, my adopted daughter."
"Don't you already have 5 children? Why did you adopt another daughter?"
"That was Kazien's wish. Even though she was adopted, Kazien loved Ritalia very much like his own sister. Both Kazien and Ritalia, they were very close as if they had been together since Ritalia was born."
"Do you always obey what Kazien says?" Duke Hubert asked in surprise.
"We trust him so much! All of his sibling's fiancées were Kazien's choices. And they gladly accepted the people he chose."
Duke Hubert truly did not expect that Kazien's influence in the Altavis family was so great, even surpassing that of a duke.
If his influence was that great, his charisma was already like that of an emperor. I had to confirm everything once more to get a definite answer about Kazien.
"Does he always seek influence to gain his own reputation?"
"He never does that. But it is his honesty and sincerity that make us trust him. Even all the residents who live there trust him! Kazien is a genius. If we think about what we should prepare for tomorrow, but he is already thinking about what we will prepare for the next 30 years!"
Duke Hubert became increasingly interested in the story about Kazien.
"Then, what about his strength?" Duke Hubert asked again.
"He's a master swordsman and a user of all elements! He can fight at close range and at long range at the same time."
Duke Hubert was in utter disbelief that someone possessed such absurd powers.
"Don't joke with me! Is he a god?"
"Hahaha. I don't blame you for saying that. We were just like you and thought he was the incarnation of a god. But with that scowl on his face, he said he was a human in front of us."
Then, Duke Elgard grabbed Duke Hubert's shoulder and warned him.
"As your childhood friend, I'll warn you. Never use your techniques in front of my son if you don't want to regret it!"
"What's wrong?" Duke Hubert asked curiously.
"He can copy someone's movements with just one glance! He can even easily use the signature moves of our strongest commander. When fighting him, Kazien never used magic and relied solely on his sword skills. However, Hellius was still overwhelmed by him."
"What did you say?"
Duke Hubert was completely baffled by Kazien's absurd power.
I knew all too well how powerful Hellius was. His swift movements and powerful slashes earned him the title of strongest commander. And a 13-year-old was overwhelming him?
If he could truly imitate someone's movements in a single glance, wouldn't it be impossible to defeat him? This was truly driving me insane!
On that scorching afternoon, Duke Hubert continued to ponder Kazien's absurd power. He still couldn't believe that his childhood friend's son was so powerful.
It seemed I had to prove it myself. If he imitated my technique, I wouldn't mind. Just think of it as training my own nephew.
Meanwhile, somewhere, Lidaz was flying towards the mountain.
"Alvin, I can't see the way forward when you're like this."
Alvin was sitting on Kazien's lap, hugging him tightly.
"I've always wanted to sit on your lap like this! Because your lap is the best place in the world!"
In order to see the smile of the person he loved so much, Kazien could only surrender and let Alvin sit on his lap.
"My dear, if we live in the capital, are we going to rent a house?"
"What about you? Do you want to live in the academy dormitory or live in a house?"
"It's better to just rent a house! Because every day, I can cook for you!"
"If that's what you want, we'll have to work harder to save up some money to rent a house! I can't wait to enjoy your cooking, too!"
"After we get back, we'll try to complete the guild's many missions!"
Not long after, Lidaz landed on the edge of a mountain peak. They saw a large number of griffons living freely there.
"Lidaz, you found them! I'm sure they'll be a valuable fighting force!"
"It's my duty to help you, Master! Please do what you did for us immediately!"
"Okay, I'll go get them!"
Hop!
Kazien got off Lidaz's back and walked over to the griffon herd.
"What are these humans trying to do here?"
