Chapter 10 - Chapter 9

"Hello."

A voice.

It was the first time in thousands, perhaps tens of thousands of years, that I had heard another person's voice.

A voice utterly devoid of emotion, incredibly flat and dry.

I slowly lifted my head.

Floating in the space of chaos and nothingness beyond where the seal had shattered was a girl.

Pitch-black hair, a petite frame clad in a somewhat revealing gothic dress.

And a bizarre fashion choice of X-shaped tape stuck over her chest.

However, she possessed an overwhelming presence that didn't match her appearance in the slightest.

"Uh... um, nice to meet you."

A dumbfounded response slipped out before I knew it.

The entity that had broken the seal and entered was someone I knew all too well.

The embodiment of infinity born from nothingness.

The Dragon governing chaos, infinity, and the void.

One of the only two Dragon Gods in this world.

The Infinite Dragon God (Ouroboros Dragon), Ophis.

Why is she here?

"How did you find this place?"

"Tilt?"

Ophis tilted her head.

Apart from that innocent movement, her eyes were as empty as an abyss without a single star.

"I just saw it while passing by. So I broke it."

Crazy.

She saw it passing by and just broke a seal made by the God of the Bible?

Wait, isn't this strange? Wasn't this a seal that not even Trihexa could break?

As if reading my thoughts, Ophis added:

"It was a little hard."

"...That's absurd."

Ah, come to think of it, the original story implied that the God of the Bible exhausted most of his power sealing Trihexa.

Then the power used to seal me must have been weaker than that.

In that case, perhaps it's plausible for a Dragon God like Ophis to break it.

Well, thanks for breaking it.

I'm really grateful, but...

Why is she still staring at me like that?

"Why? Do you have something to say to me?"

"You. Strong."

Ophis asserted.

"Help me. Chase Red away."

She's crazy, this girl.

Great Red.

The True Red Dragon God Emperor.

The strongest existence in the worldview, equal to Ophis.

You want me to fight that?

"I'm sorry to say this, but even if I help, we can't beat Great Red. My help wouldn't make a difference."

"Tilt? You are strong. As strong as Ddraig and Albion."

...Is that so?

Have I reached the class of a Heavenly Dragon without realizing it?

Before I was sealed, I relied heavily on the Grail's infinite regeneration to endure, but it seems that after my long training, I have stepped into that realm with pure power alone.

That said, I have no desire to commit suicide.

However, it might be worth a challenge.

There was a part in the original story where the Dragon King Tannin challenged Great Red and was simply ignored.

Maybe no matter what I do, he'll just treat me like an annoying bug, or if I'm lucky, mere dust.

In short, it means there's no risk of dying.

"Fine, I'll help. Let's give it a try."

"Really?"

A very faint light, too dim to even call an emotion, flickered in Ophis's empty eyes.

"In exchange, I have a condition. Can you share some of your power with me?"

"Power?"

Ophis tilted her head for a moment, then without hesitation, stuck her small hand into her mouth.

And from within, she smoothly pulled out a black snake condensed with the power of infinity.

"Snake. Giving."

"Oh, thank you."

I accepted the snake.

The power I felt from the small snake wriggling in my hand was more fundamental and potent than everything I had absorbed until now combined.

But if I eat this directly, it will only become poison.

My power is already too bloated and chaotic.

It's chaotic enough as it is; I don't know what would happen if I shoved this into the mix.

In that case.

Let's make a new vessel.

A subordinate of my own who can support my power and fight alongside me.

Don't I have the best materials right here?

"Ophis, wait a moment. I'll show you something interesting."

"Tilt?"

I carefully took out Albion's platinum heart from my bosom.

Even after thousands of years, it was still beating, emitting a cold and powerful force.

The essence of power granted by the Infinite Dragon God.

The heart of the Vanishing Dragon containing the power of a Heavenly Dragon.

And my Grail, which will mold all of this together.

I'm looking forward to this...

"Now, time to work. Grail."

At my call, the Grail, now one with my soul, trembled and emitted a rusty-gold light.

Vwoooooong────.

I floated Ophis's snake and Albion's heart in the air.

Light flowing from the Grail enveloped the two materials, and I poured all the knowledge and experience within me to design a new life.

A body capable of perfectly wielding Albion's power.

A soul capable of containing Ophis's infinite potential.

And a will loyal only to me.

Whiiiiir── Flashhhhhhhh───!

Intense light filled the Dimensional Gap.

As the light slowly faded, a naked girl floated there with her eyes closed.

She was a girl with pure white hair that was dyed blue at the tips, and golden eyes that burned like flames.

...It's a masterpiece.

But I can't leave her like this.

"I should at least dress her."

I snapped my fingers.

The power to control shadows within me slipped out and wrapped around the girl's body.

The shadows soon took shape and hardened, transforming into black clothing that barely covered her chest and lower body.

Only then did the girl slowly open her golden eyes.

"...Are you... my Creator?"

Her voice was clear, but devoid of emotion.

"Yes, I am your Creator."

I answered with a mischievous grin.

Whump──.

The girl stared at me intently for a moment, then flew over without a word and embraced me.

Her cold body burrowed into me as if seeking warmth.

Hm?

This is unexpected.
