Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Arrival at the Giant Village, The Plan Begins!

On the deck.

Hajrudin, now bandaged up, stared at Linlin opposite him, still shaken.

He could never have imagined that this seemingly harmless little girl possessed such terrifying strength.

The Silver Wolf Pirates were a notorious crew in these waters, and Captain Lester had a bounty of 10 million Berries.

Yet, in front of Linlin, he had absolutely no ability to resist.

Linlin had dealt with them in a flash. By now, their corpses had likely been devoured by Sea Kings.

"Um... Reno, is your strength as monstrous as your sister's??"

After hesitating for a long time, Hajrudin finally voiced his doubt.

If the younger sister was this formidable, what about Reno, the older brother?!

"My cultivation talent is average. I don't have much strength."

"When I go out, I usually rely on my sister," Reno said without turning his head as he steered the ship.

Hearing this, Hajrudin breathed a secret sigh of relief.

It made sense. Linlin was already an anomaly; how could there be so many naturally gifted monsters in the world?

Linlin heard their conversation but didn't say anything. She simply made a funny face at Reno, her meaning self-evident.

Reno instinctively glanced at the cake in Linlin's hands, the threat clear in his eyes.

It was as if he was saying, If you dare blab, no more cake for you.

Understanding Reno's look, Linlin immediately hugged her cake with both hands and pouted, daring not to provoke him further.

"Reno, no matter what, I really have to thank you this time. If it weren't for you guys, I would be dead today."

Recalling the situation earlier, Hajrudin still felt a lingering fear.

He had truly been on the razor's edge between life and death.

"Meeting you was fate. Don't mention it." Reno waved his hand dismissively.

"True enough. You and Linlin are my saviors. When we get back to Elbaf, I must treat you both properly."

"We giants are very hospitable. If the two Chieftains know you saved me, they will definitely welcome you."

"Plus, there are many children like you in our Giant Village. You can get to know each other."

"Hmm?!"

Hajrudin's last sentence made Reno's eyes light up. He asked with feigned curiosity, "Are you talking about the children from the House of Lambs??"

"Eh??"

Now it was Hajrudin's turn to be surprised. "You know about the House of Lambs too??"

"That's the place built by Mother Carmel, specifically to adopt homeless children."

"Those kids are pitiful. Mother Carmel is a very kind person. If she hadn't given them a home, who knows what kind of life they would be living."

When talking about the nun, Hajrudin's eyes shone with genuine admiration.

Reno sneered inwardly. Kind??

The person you think is kind is a notorious human trafficker.

Over the decades, countless children had been sold by her to the World Government and trained into emotionless killers.

Of course, Reno wouldn't say this in front of Hajrudin. Even if he did, without concrete evidence, Hajrudin wouldn't believe him.

Half a day later, they finally arrived at Elbaf.

Standing on this land again, Linlin felt deeply moved.

She walked up to Reno and whispered, "Big Brother, this is where I met you."

Luckily, she had met Reno back then. Otherwise, she wouldn't have known where to go.

"Hahahahaha! I'm finally back!!"

The familiar scent filling his nose put Hajrudin in a great mood, causing him to shout out loud.

This voyage had been a brush with death, but thankfully, he had returned safely.

"Let's go, Reno, Linlin! I'll take you to meet the Chieftains!"

Once the ship docked, Hajrudin couldn't wait to lead Reno towards the village.

As they walked into the village, they encountered many giant warriors along the way.

"Hajrudin, are you injured?? Who are those two??"

A giant warrior greeted Hajrudin and then looked warily at Reno and Linlin.

"Hans, they are my benefactors. be polite to them."

"Benefactors?!"

The warrior named Hans frowned, suspicious.

Two kids were Hajrudin's benefactors??

What was this guy playing at?

"Alright, I'll tell you later. I need to see Chieftain Jorul and Chieftain Jarul."

"The two Chieftains are over there right now. If you're looking for them, just go ahead."

Although he didn't know what Hajrudin was up to, Hans pointed him in the right direction.

Halfway there, they ran right into the two Chieftains who had just stepped out.

"Chieftain! Chieftain!!"

From a distance, Hajrudin waved and shouted impatiently, attracting the attention of the two elders.

"It's Hajrudin. What's the matter??"

"Eh?"

The two Chieftains noticed Reno and Linlin.

They only glanced briefly at Reno before shifting their gaze.

Both of them were staring almost exclusively at Linlin.

Reno indicated that he was used to it.

It was understandable; Linlin's size was indeed awkward.

For a human, almost no one grew as big as Linlin at that age.

But for a giant, she was a bit small.

"Hajrudin, who are these two??" Chieftain Jorul asked first.

"Chieftain, here's what happened..."

Hajrudin recounted the entire incident in detail to the two Chieftains. Their expressions shifted from initial anger to looking at Linlin as if she were a little monster.

If Hajrudin hadn't said it himself, they wouldn't have believed that this well-behaved little girl standing before them possessed such strength.

The Chieftains' stare made Linlin uncomfortable, and she habitually leaned closer to Reno.

"Hello, Chieftains. My name is Reno, and this is my younger sister, Linlin."

Reno took the lead and introduced himself and Linlin simply.
