As William and Adam made their way towards the supermarket, Adam was trying hard to catch up from behind. With the four points difference in agility, William was a bit faster and had to slow down a little so as to not leave him behind.
Due to their now superhuman speed they were able to avoid a lot of zombies. But other students were not so lucky.
Many students were bleeding while screaming and crying, constantly asking for help.
Seeing this Adam could help but tighten his grip on his spear, he wasn't really a socially closed person as he always had a sunny and cheerful personality, seeing his own kind being devoured while doing nothing messed him up.
"Humans kill pigs, sheep, cows, goats and many other species to survive" William sensing Adam's emotional state said in a cold voice. " Now that the world has gone to shit, humans are no longer at the apex. The sooner we accept this, the easier it would be for us to survive. Right now our survival should be our number one priority.
Adam just continued to be silent. Even if he knew that William's words were right and they had to make sure they survived first even if it wasn't for his sake but for his sister still at the orphanage.
Just right before the small supermarket, a girl was running while a black dog almost six feet tall was chasing after her. In the blink of an eye, the huge dog pounced on her and threw her to the ground.
The girl's eyes flashed with terror as she saw the terrifying monster open it's jaw wide, her life flashing before her eyes. Just when her head was about to the ripped off her body, there was a sharp flash of electricity that flickered for a second.
The mutated dog's movement stilled completely as a long spear impaled it's head to the ground. Warm blood splashed over the girl's face, almost causing a scream from her as her attention was taken by the person who had saved her life.
This person was naturally Adam who couldn't just look on as the girl got torn to pieces.

"You just couldn't help yourself, had to play the hero saving the damsel" William's voice came from behind. Adam rolled his eyes " I don't aspire to be any dumb hero just to die a miserable death but we have to power we have to help out while we can, it's the human thing to do'. He shot back at William.
William shrugged as he stared at the supermarket market. " Not everyone is a cold and insensitive idiot like you." Adam muttered as he focused on the girl on the floor, while she wasn't drop dead gorgeous she was beautiful and had a hot body.
"Ttthank you for saving me." The girl stammered as Adam held out his hand to help her get up. You should get up and follow us if you want to live!, Quickly! I doubt it that guy is going to wait for you." Adam urged as they met up with William.
The supermarket entrance was completely wrecked and the sight in the supermarket was not that encouraging.
"Let's go in and check if anyone is in there." Adam said lightly as he stepped in while looking around.
A while later "Watch out!!" A shout cut across the air as a blood spike shot past Adam stabbing the shelf close to his head.
An almost four meters cat was pinned to the wall struggling to escape the spike, Kael immediately made more blood arrows and perforated the cat.

"You should be more careful." William said as he stepped forward to pick up the vial dropped from the cat

" that was close, how did you know that cat was there?". Truly the cat was practically invisible as it's fur seemed almost ethereal, even as it layed dead it was still hard to see clearly. "I'm not sure it was almost like I could feel it's blood flowing through its body." William was also surprised, but rather than dwell on it he just attributed it all to magic.
As they continued their search they found two more survivors, who had locked themselves in the supermarket's cold room for safety.
An hour after they arrived at the supermarket market they had been attacked twice by zombies and decided to leave and head towards the cafeteria.

In the northern part of the University was the female dormitory. The distance between the girls dorms and the cafeteria was almost the same as the distance between the cafeteria and the faculty building complex.
A group of about twenty people moved in the direction of the cafeteria. This group was mainly composed of women but there were also seven men among them.
However, no matter whether it was the men or the women, they all looked at the back of the woman who was leading them with respect, admiration, or love.
A group of five zombies stumbled towards the crowd of survivors. Seeing their distorted expression and their blank eyes, many of them could not help but shudder in fear along with small sounds of choked sobs.
The woman leading the group and carrying the lives of nearly twenty people on her shoulders had beautiful silver colored hair and bright blue eyes. Her skin was as white as milk and as smooth as pure silk without a single blemish.
However, her expression was as cold as a thousand year block of ice with no apparent emotional flow. Although her expression was as cold as ice, her body was as hot as fire, filled with curves in the right places and extremely charming.
Upon seeing the five zombies, this young woman of only 22 did not panic, her gaze did not change in the slightest. She waved her hands and five ice spears. With another wave the five ice spear shot towards the zombies.
With great accuracy, the ice spears pierced the head of the five zombies who were moving at embarrassingly slow speed, creating a hole the size of a small fist in the head of each zombie.
When the rest of the group saw this, their expression changed for the better and their idolatry towards this woman increased several folds.
On the other hand the woman's expression was still as cold and indifferent as ever

From a different direction another group of survivors was rapidly advancing towards the cafeteria under the leadership of two men.
This group had about forty people, so the extremely strong vital smell attracted a lot of zombies as well as horrid creatures who wanted to consume them in order to evolve.
Two zombies staggered out of a building close to the survivors. However, before the survivors could scream in terror the zombies' heads flew off their heads.
The survivors looked at the young man holding a sword, wearing sports clothes, a bow and quiver hung over his back with admiration and envy.
Swoosh!
Suddenly a mutated dog appeared charging at a speed four times faster than a normal human. The big black dog opened its mouth wide with the aim of biting the young man's head off.
However, what greeted the dog was a huge axe.
Slice!
The dog's head slid off as the body continued charging forward before falling lifeless on the ground.
"Stupid thing, you may be fucking fast but if you don't attack me first you're too weak" a burly man with a rough beard on his face spat on the dog's corpse.
This man was clearly too old to be a student and the expression on his face was savage.
He wielded a metal colored double-headed axe that was as big as a door with apparent ease although it was clearly a heavy weapon.
The group continued to advance towards the cafeteria.
