Chapter Three – Baek Yuna POV (Seo Minjae Inside Her Body)
I was crouched inside her closet, surrounded by clothes that screamed "her." I grabbed a handful of black-and-white outfits and shouted at Dori, "What are these? Did she even hear about colors?"
He leapt onto my head, swiping a paw playfully but firmly. "Your mission is to upgrade her life, not keep bullying her."
"Ouch! Okay, okay, Dori," I muttered, rubbing my head.
I sighed and added, "She… I mean, I… need to go shopping."
Dori's green eyes rolled. "Yes, but don't forget—she's poor."
I groaned. "How could I forget? How much does she even have in her account right now? And… where's her phone?"
Dori meowed, hopping onto the desk and pointing with his paw. I grabbed the phone. Okay… now, what was her password again?
I whispered, "Four zero…?"
Wrong.
"1-2-3-4?"
Still wrong.
Her birthday? When was it? I racked my brain.
Dori sighed. "3 July 1996."
I rolled my eyes and typed: 0307.
"Still wrong," I muttered.
Dori tilted his head. "Try yours."
I blinked. "My birthday? She loved me… yes, but not this much." I typed 26 February 1995 : 2602.
The phone unlocked.
I shouted, half laughing, half crying: "The hell… it was my birthday? She actually put my birthday as her password?"
Dori purred smugly. "You're such a bad person, Minjae. She truly loved you."
I sighed. "Okay, okay, kitty. Let me check her bank account."
I opened her banking app.
₩16,000
I froze. "The hell… she survives on this? She's so poor."
Dori flicked his tail. "Compared to your spoiled ass, yes."
I rolled my eyes. "What about her work again? It's… a small company, right?"
Dori jumped onto her desk, green eyes gleaming. "Yes, a tiny one-hour commute from here. The company name is 'Hanbit Tech' and you have work today ."
I froze. "The hell… I'm starting work there on my first day in Yuna's body? Not even a break from my death?"
Dori's tiny eyes narrowed. "No. Get ready, Baek Yuna."
I collapsed back onto her bed. I am Yuna now, and I need to act like her—but better. Perfect. Happier. Flawless.
This is my chance to give her life the ending it deserved… so I can get my gorgeous body back as Seo Minjae.
Dori padded onto the bed, stretching luxuriously, and added casually: "And before you go, give me some croquette, I'm hungry."
I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help smiling. I grabbed a small piece and offered it to him.
**************
I threw on a simple white T-shirt with black sleeves and a small crossbody bag. Good enough, I guess.
Dori lifted his paw like a tiny manager.
"Don't forget. Floor number five. Desk forty-seven."
"Yes, yes, I won't forget," I said, waving him off.
I grabbed the coffee I made and drank it in one aggressive gulp.
Dori clicked his tongue. "You need to go. You're already running late."
"Okay, okay, Dad, I'm going," I muttered, rolling my eyes.
Dori's ears shot up, and he stepped toward me with a deadly look.
"Call me that again and I'll—"
"Sorry! I'm going!" I yelled, sprinting toward the door.
A day at Yuna's workplace had to be better than staying with this little demon-cat.
I took the bus, half-asleep, half-annoyed, then arrived in front of a tiny building. This must be it—the address matched.
The sign read: 한빛테크 Hanbit Tech.
Before I could push the door open, something inside me twisted.
My bladder.
Great.
Perfect.
Amazing.
I needed to pee.
Fine. There had to be a bathroom upstairs.
I rushed into the elevator and slammed the button for floor 5.
When the doors opened, chaos greeted me—a loud, messy, unorganized workplace.
But who cared?
Toilet.
I ran, burst into a stall, and finally relieved myself.
Inside the stall, I sighed, "Our bladder doesn't work the same at all… all of this because of one coffee? Seriously?"
When I stepped out—
Silence.
Men staring.
I was in the men's restroom.
A guy with a company badge looked me up and down. His tag read:
Park Jaehun .
He smirked.
"Yuna. You're a pervert or what?"
The others started whispering like piranhas.
"She was always weird, but entering the men's bathroom? Crazy."
"No wonder everyone treats her badly."
"That woman is unbelievable."
Wait.
Yuna is treated badly here? Bullied?
I threw my hands up.
"Wow, okay—first, I made a mistake. I thought it was the women's bathroom. And second, don't flatter yourselves. None of you are my type. It was an accident."
I lifted my chin and turned to leave.
But Park Jaehun grabbed my arm and slammed me back against the wall.
His smirk turned sharp.
"A mistake? You think I'm going to believe that, pervert?"
I pushed a strand of Yuna's short hair behind my ear.
This man… he really thought being handsome gave him the right to do whatever he wanted.
Okay, I used to be that kind of man too. But still.
Annoying.
I stared straight into his eyes.
"I bet your 'thing'—" I dropped my gaze deliberately to his crotch, "—is smaller than a pencil cap. And you think I'd look at you? I told you it was a mistake."
His face drained of color, then turned bright red with anger.
The men around us gasped.
"She actually said that to him…"
"She's insane."
"She's going to get fired."
"How dare she talk to the CEO like that?"
I froze.
…CEO?
This man was the CEO?
On my first day in Yuna's body… I already got her into trouble?
Hell no.
This is going to be way harder than I thought.
