And the battle begun as Robert engaged them, his movement was fluid like moving on water as he struck down every goblin and Orc in his way, with a punch he vaporized a group of goblins on the spot and with every claw strike he cut down so many orcs and goblins.
With his bare hands, robert ripped apart limbs and cracked open skulls of Goblins and orcs as he fought, this wasn't a battle it was a massacre done by one person.
Blood soaked the ground as the countless bodies of orcs and goblins lay on the field of battle and numerous body parts and gore littered everywhere.
Robert held a struggling goblin by the head and crushed its head, like popping grape, the landscape was filled blood and gore and corpses, as the place of battle was a mess right now, even the road was torn apart and destruction was evident.
Robert took his gaze back to Elisa who was stunned at the massacre she had just witness as she was in a state of shock, When she saw Robert's gaze, the hair on her body stood as she felt a sudden chill run through her entire body, as the person staring at her right wasn't her brother.
Then Robert began walking back towards Elisa who was gripped by fear as She watch him walk towards her as the look in his eyes was dead cold and there was no trace of emotion in them.
Elisa's heart skipped a beat each time robert took a step towards her, after witnessed all that had happened as numerous thoughts crossed her mind.
'will he recognize me or just kill me'
This one thought that crossed her mind as he approached her, just five meters from reaching Elisa, robert suddenly stopped in his tracks and she was surprised by why he suddenly stopped then with warning.
Robert suddenly passed out as his eyes rolled over and he fell face first forward.
"THUD"
He fell on the ground a few inches from Elisa, his long black hair resided to its original size and the dragon scales om his arm and face disappeared like dust into the wind, even this fingers which draconic claws return to normal.
Elisa just looked with surprise written in her eyes at her brother who just passed and lying close to her as she tried to process all that had occurred.
"Bro…Brother?"
Elisa stammered as she approached robert with caution, just then her eyes felt heavy as her vision became blurry.
"damn, looks like I have expelled most of my strength, am going to pass out" With that said Elisa Passed out too, lying next to her brother. At that moment Charles the Sword king appeared om the scene.
"That golden and red pillar of light came from here even that overbearing aura came from here t…." at that moment Charles didn't finish his words as the scene before stunned him
"Wh…What the heck really happened here!!!" Charles exclaimed with deep shock as the scene before him stunned him, littered on the place of battle were the corpses of numerous orcs and goblin warriors and the intense destruction before him,
Then his eyes scanned the entire place and then his eyes fell on the three figures laying on the ground unconscious, but what surprised him the most was that in the midst of this they weren't hurt at all then he decided to walk towards them to make sure they really all right.
"How did they managed to survive amidst all this carnage?" Charles questioned himself as it felt unreal to be true given the fact how dangerous red rifts can be, seeing the corpses of the dead orcs and goblin around them, made a thought run through his mind.
'Did an expert save them but that golden light meant someone awakened, I can't just get the hang of this' he felt confused but then his focus is taken to an unconscious robert laying close to Elisa at that moment his eyes widened in Shock.
"WHAT HOW CAN THIS BE!!!"
Charles exclaimed with deep shock as he stopped in his tracks as he froze on the spot, seeing far beyond the ordinary human eye, looking at robert he could see the intense aura pouring out of Robert's body as it felt suffocating and filled with pressure.
'this aura I can't be mistaken, its exactly the one l felt before' upon taking a closer at Robert he was even more shocked to find he was the one dominic had pleaded to save and the one who awakened the weakest talent.
'it's him but how? Wait a minute? If he has such an aura then that golden and red pillar of light must have come from him then?' then sudden realization dawned him
'it can't be, but how? Obviously, he was the one who awakened the weakest talent or did the crystal see it wrong, no that won't be the case, then there is just one explanation for everything he re-awakened!!' Charles made his conclusion.
"Looks like you have defiled fate boy" A smile curved on his lips as he looked at robert who was in an unconscious state and then took his gaze to surroundings filled with destruction and corpses of orcs and goblins.
"it will be nice to tell Vic about this am sure this might get him back on the path, but this kid just who are you" he looked at robert and then to the sky.

Three days later
Medic general hospital, 10:30am
The closed eye lids of teenage boy, twitches and his eyes immediately shut open, as he quickly sat up releasing ragged breaths.
"Am not…dead yet!" robert blurted out as he recalled the moments when he was stabbed with a spear and his right and left leg were decapitated and lying in his own pool of blood, then he looked down at his hands.
"My…my hand its back!" Robert was surprised as he remembered his right hand been cleanly cut off, then he immediately raised up the blanket and lo and behold his leg was back too.
"My leg is back too!!" He exclaimed, as this was unexplainable and felt like a dream to him but nope, he knew this was not a dream but reality but the question he asked himself was how?
the scenes of his near-death experience played like tape in his head and it made chill run down his spine as he goosebumps as he vividly remembered all that he went through.
"I can't really believe that I actually survived that" Robert found it unbelievable as the incidents of that day recalled in his mind.
Looking around where he was, he came to realization that he was in a hospital ward.
"Well I guess I got hospitalized" he released a sigh.
"Wait what about Elisa?" he suddenly remembered as an expression of dread washed over him as he remembered the last scene before he shut eyes, but at that moment of his worst fears the door suddenly opened and two figures walked in with a nurse behind them.
One of them was Elisa his sister and the other was a woman whom Elisa had a resemblance to, upon seeing robert seated up tears immediately welled up in Elisa's eyes.
"Robert…you…are finally awake" Robert was about to speak then Elisa instantly ran towards him and threw herself in his arms as she busted in tears.
"You… are finally awaken" She cried as she spoke
"Brother Robert am sorry for not waiting for you if not you won't have gone through so much pain because of me, am really Sorry!!!" She cried endlessly as tears streamed down her cheeks as she held robert.
Robert looked at Elisa as she teared up, but robert felt relief as she was okay.
"Elisa it's okay am really glad that in the end you are alright" Robert tried to console her.
"No!! I deserved to be whipped ten thousand times! Because of me you went through hell. The pain I have caused you it's too much, please am so sorry" Elisa said with emotion as she cried.
Then Robert immediately drew her closer in his arms as he hugged her.
"You don't deserve any punishment, it wasn't your fault either, what has happened has come and gone no need to dwell on the past and it's my upmost duty to protect you even it means climbing across dangerous mountains or traversing treacherous oceans, I will go through fire and hell for you" Elisa instantly stopped crying as she heard her brother's words as an expression of surprise washed over her.
Taking her gaze up as she sniffed, she meet with Robert's gaze as he looked at her with heart warm love in his eyes.
"No matter what I will always protect you" Robert smiled.
"Robert…" Elisa's eyes became teary again.
"Com'on Eli it's okay" Robert tried to stop her form crying but still yet she proceeded to cry anyway.
"Just let her cry out her hearts content and soon she will get over it" speaking was the woman who stood by their side.
She looked like she was in her early forties, she had a long black which was black as the night sky, the length of her hair fell all the way to her waist and like a gem of untamed beauty was her light purple eyes, which were mesmerizing to look at, a natural charm on its own to look at.
She had an oval shaped face which was crafted with care by the creator, and a small pointed nose and her pink lips which looked soft and tender looking seductive. She had modest mature body size.
But one noticeable detail about her was the pale look on her face and her skin which had lost its radiance and was pale too.
"Mom" Robert called out to her as his tone carried emotion as he looked at her.
"Am really glad and thankful to God that you were able pull through even despite the pain you went through to save Elisa am glad you are alive" She sat on the side of the bed as she spoke to him with a smile.
"When I saw your state three days ago, I was frozen with fear and for three days you have been in coma and I thought I was going to lose you, I was so frightened but here you are well and alive" tears silently streamed down her cheeks.
Separating himself from Elisa who clung to him, he approached his mother, placing his hand on her face and wiping off her tears.
"Mom, don't cry, as far I have you guys to protect not even death can take me away from you both because I will defile fate" Robert said with a smile as he looked at his mom, as sadness cold be seen in his eyes as he looked at her pale look and pale skin.
"You truly are the son of your father" Looking at her son before her as she caressed his hair, she could see the distant image of a man with striking resemblance to Robert.
"Oh, I just remembered they has been a friend who has been coming to visit you for the past three days while you were in coma" Elisa suddenly spoke.
"Huh? A friend?" Robert was taken aback but then he remembered they could be only one possibility on who it could be, after the incidents that transpired during the awakening ceremony.
"Dominic" that was the name that came to his mind, then the door suddenly opened and they turned to look at who it was stepping in was dominic.
"Speak of the devil" Robert said with a chuckle.
Meanwhile Dominic widened his eyes in shock as he saw Robert who was already on his feet and looking well, his shocked expression was instantly replaced by that of happiness.
"Bro you are finally awake!!!" Dominic shouted with happiness as he ran towards Robert.
