For most gods, descending to the mortal world was a grand event.
Lightning cracked. Clouds trembled. Mortals fell to their knees in awe.
But for Lin Xuan, Immortal God of Eternity, former transmigrator, and current sufferer of extreme boredom… descending felt no different from getting out of bed after a long nap.
A portal of golden light opened beneath his feet.
He stared at it blankly.
"…Again?" he muttered.
His divine attendant, Yue, floated beside him with that same panicked expression she always wore whenever he made decisions without thinking — which was often.
Yue's beauty bordered on the divine: long white hair like silver silk, deep crimson eyes that carried warmth and unfathomable depth, and a tall, slender figure that exuded grace with every movement. Beneath that serene elegance lay undeniable strength — the kind that inspired both awe and admiration among immortals.
Which made it twice as amusing that she always looked one sigh away from collapsing whenever he spoke.
"Master, please reconsider," she pleaded, voice elegant and anxious. "The mortal realm is chaotic, dangerous, and unpredictable—"
"Good," Lin Xuan interrupted. "Maybe I'll feel something."
She twitched. "But last time you descended, you caused a three-month solar eclipse just by sighing."
"That was an accident."
"You sneezed."
"…Powerful allergies."
"Master," she groaned, "your godly form should we seal it? Limit it? Suppress it slightly?"
He waved lazily. "No need. I'm keeping everything."
Somewhere in the Divine Realm, ten elders probably fainted at those words. Again.
Without another word, Lin Xuan stepped into the portal.
A Few Seconds Later…
His eyes opened to a quiet forest. Birds chirped. Leaves rustled. A gentle breeze brushed against his newly shaped, human-like face.
He glanced down, his lips curling into a satisfied smirk.
He looked perfect.
Tall, strikingly handsome, with long jet-black hair that shimmered in sunlight and deep eyes filled with silent intensity. Every detail from his sharp jawline to his calm posture radiated a captivating charm.
If mortals saw him, they would probably be speechless.
Or dead from shock.
Either outcome was acceptable.
He nodded approvingly.
"Not bad. Peaceful. Mediocre. Perfectly boring."
An environment that matched the current state of his so-called life.
He took a step—
BOOM.
The ground rumbled. Trees shook violently. Birds scattered in terror. A fierce wave of spiritual energy burst outward.
Lin Xuan blinked.
"…Did I do that?"
"YES, MASTER!" Yue's voice shrieked as she materialized beside him, clutching her head in despair. "You just released some of your aura!"
"Oh."He paused."My bad."
Yue groaned even louder. "If this is only the beginning, the mortal realm won't survive a week!"
"That's why I came here," he replied calmly. Humans are fragile. Maybe they'll help me recover my emotions."
"By scaring them to death!?"
"Possibly."
Yue buried her face in her hands. Even that movement carried divine elegance.
Lin Xuan stretched, testing his mortal-like body. Not fully mortal. Not fully divine.
Just enough to experience the world… while keeping all his power.
"Let's see," he murmured. "Where do humans usually begin their boring daily lives?"
"Towns… villages… schools…" Yue muttered in defeat.
"Good. Let's go to the nearest one."
He took a step —
Crunch.
He accidentally kicked a boulder. It turned to dust instantly.
"…Oops."
"MASTER!" Yue screeched, divine beauty and divine frustration blending perfectly.
Lin Xuan scratched his cheek, slightly embarrassed."I'll… work on controlling my strength."
And so, with enough power to accidentally erase continents still coursing through his veins…
