Synopsis
Raylen accidentally ended up in the world of Pokémon. But he quickly realized this Pokémon world was… a little weird. Here, humans were the Pokémon—while the actual Pokémon were the ones calling the shots. Before he even understood what was going on, he somehow became Kirlia—Dolores’s—pet Pokémon. Raylen thought he had already wrapped his head around this bizarre world. Turns out he seriously underestimated just how crazy it could get. A ninja-type Pokémon girl… Hyūga Hinata? A kendo-type Pokémon girl… Busujima Saeko? Where on earth did he even transmigrate to? In this mad world, even as a Pokémon himself, Raylen was determined to help the human race survive and rise again. And so, quietly… he began building his own powerful harem faction.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : I’m the Pokémon?

[Welcome to the world of Pokémon. Your adventure begins now.][Starter equipment: 1 Poké Ball.]

"So I just… transmigrated?"

Raylen had just been lazily watching the Pokémon anime on his sofa.He casually muttered, "Man, I could do that too."

A flash of blinding white light burst before his eyes, his head spun, and when he opened his eyes again, he was already somewhere completely unfamiliar.

He looked around, confused.

Soft grass lay beneath his feet, and sunlight filtered through layers of leaves, scattering light across the ground.

Floating in front of him was a translucent blue screen, clearly interactive.

He cautiously tapped the option labeled [My Bag].

The screen switched instantly.

Inside was a single lonely Poké Ball—red and white—listed as (Raylen's Poké Ball), with a note beside it: [Tip: Very important!]

"No kidding. I've only got one ball, of course it's important." Raylen rolled his eyes.

As panic slowly faded, he forced himself to stay calm.

He soon realized he was in a quiet, secluded grove.

Suddenly, a sharp rustling rose from the bushes nearby.

Something was moving.

Raylen's eyes tightened. He held his breath and crouched behind a thick tree trunk.

When he finally saw what it was, his eyes lit up in pure excitement.

A Psychic-type Pokémon—Kirlia!

Slender and petite, wearing a pink-and-white lace dress, green hair falling over her shoulders, two bright red horns sitting atop her head, and clear red eyes set in a delicate face.

She was tiptoeing forward, those thin arms and legs making her look extra cute.

"Heh… didn't think I'd get this lucky. I just got here and I run into a top-tier Psychic-type!"

Raylen forced himself to stay quiet and crept closer.

"Who?"

Kirlia froze. Her small frame stiffened before she quickly turned her head, red eyes flashing with alertness.

At a distance of around ten meters, being noticed didn't surprise him.

He flicked his wrist sharply, sending his Poké Ball flying straight toward her.

He'd already planned it out—if she got pulled in, he'd immediately dive over and pin the ball down. He'd always mocked the anime protagonists for missing such golden chances.

But this Kirlia—Dolores—was actually a fresh graduate from the Pokémon Trainer Academy.

Right now, the Academy was holding its annual "Initial Pokémon Acquisition" event.

Most students had already caught an normal human-type Pokémon, or a rare human-type with a profession skill, and left.

Dolores, however, had always had high standards.

A gorgeous, fiery-bodied ballerina like her refusing to settle for a "normal" Pokémon wasn't surprising.

At minimum, she wanted something rare.

If she could catch something extremely rare, even better.

"Aah!"

A dull pain struck her head. Dolores winced and instinctively caught the Poké Ball that had bounced off her skull.

"My ball?" (Raylen's voice)

She looked at the ball in her hand, then at the human-shaped Pokémon standing before her, muttering things she couldn't understand.

A Pokémon that throws Poké Balls at people?

She'd never heard of that.

And judging by his posture, he was preparing to attack again.

A Pokémon attacking first was rare.

Dolores nimbly stepped back, dodging his next attempt. Instantly, she realized—this "human" wasn't an average Pokémon at all.

She looked him up and down, a spark of curiosity—and admiration—flashing through her red eyes. Then replaced by fiery excitement.

She had to admit… he was pretty good-looking.

She activated the Academy-issued scanner in her hand.

[Unknown wild Pokémon detected. Automatic scan and record in progress…] [Species: Unknown][Name: Raylen (Male)][Type: Omnipower Pokémon][Level: 1][Moves: Telekinesis, Dance, Body Slam, Telepathy, … Expert Marksmanship][Rarity: Unknown (Temporary designation: Highest-tier Mutant Mythical)]

"Mutant… Mythical?"

Dolores froze, eyes widening, lips parting in disbelief.

Her heart pounded so hard she could hear it.

Without hesitation, she hurled her Poké Ball straight at Raylen—clean, fast, decisive.

She was ready to pounce on it the moment he went inside.

According to her teachers, grabbing the Poké Ball the instant the Pokémon was absorbed greatly increased the capture rate.

"Ow!"

Raylen yelped as the incoming ball struck his head.He reflexively caught it.

The texture was rough, the colors dull—not nearly as nice as his own red-and-white one.

"What is happening today?" He was completely confused.

He threw his ball at Kirlia, she didn't get sucked in, She hijacked it.

And now she'd thrown a different ball at him?

"Didn't get sucked in?"

Dolores blinked when the ball failed to absorb him. But seeing him stay still instead of running—there was still hope.

She sprinted toward him, grabbed his arm, her excitement obvious.

A Mythical!A level 1 hidden powerhouse! No way she was letting him go.

Either she captured him today, or she died trying. No third option.

Raylen didn't expect her to charge in physically.

But that thrill in his chest surged—perfect!

He was going to catch her today too!

He grabbed her wrist as well and, without thinking, raised the Poké Ball in his hand to knock her out with it.

If I knock you senseless, you'll go in the ball, right?

Dolores had the exact same idea. She raised her own ball and swung at him.

"Ow!" ×2

Pain exploded in Raylen's skull. His vision went dark, and suddenly his body was dragged by some mysterious force into a cramped sealed space.

After several dazed seconds, he finally realized where he was.

At the same time—

[First entry into Poké Ball space detected. Reward: 1 Recovery Potion.]

New options appeared on the floating menu in front of him: [Status], [Abilities], [Owner]

Despite his dizziness, he tapped through them.

When he saw the information, his face drained of color.

"What the hell?! I'm the Pokémon?!"

No way. No shot. Did he drop into the wrong universe?!

What terrified him most was the [Owner] section:

[Currently forming bond. Locked target: Dolores.]

Raylen felt the danger immediately.

Now wasn't the time to be shocked about this insane world. He had to get out—fast.

He had a cheat ability and absolutely did not need an owner. Not even if she was a pretty girl.

He gathered all his strength and slammed into the barrier of the Poké Ball space.

Bang!

The barrier trembled and cracked open just a sliver.

Peering out through it, he saw Kirlia—Dolores—pressing both small pale hands tightly over the Poké Ball and hugging it with her whole body, refusing to let go.

She looked like she'd rather die than let go.

The sight filled him with despair.

"I'm screwed…"

Not only had he lost the perfect moment…

She was clearly a trained expert on top of that.
