Under Levy's shocked look as he raised a piece of the ocean before them into the air. Felix felt a small chunk of his magic being drained away. While the sight of the megalodon was displayed before them. The tail thrashing furiously as it tried to push itself out of the water prison only for it not to work.
Then, Felix who didn't normally like killing, clenched his hand together. The giant water sphere instantly collapsed together in a blink of an eye. So a dark bloody orb remained with no trace of the megalodon within.
"Huh? That's it!" Levy looked dumbfounded.
"What did you expect?" Felix asked.
"A tougher battle." Levy muttered.
"It is a tactic I came up with after fighting a magical whale for so long." Felix muttered.
Dropping the dark bloody orb into the ocean to draw over the other megalodon. Felix began to prepare to cast his next attack.
Luckily, he didn't need to wait long before a large shark head came from below where he dropped the remains of the previous megalodon. This head appeared much larger and clearly had a bigger attitude.
Still, even as it moved with enhanced magic, Felix launched his next attack.
"Water Magic: Water Severing Wave."
Unleashing a thin extreme pressure wave of water, Felix flicked his hand as the water seemingly with ease sliced through the megalodon. The thrashing head that was confused due to not biting a wounded and bleeding creature paused mid motions. Before it began to split apart turning the ocean red as its organs floated.
"Gross." Levy covered her mouth.
Her eyes turned away as she began to dry heave from the sight. Unlike Felix who was numb to such scenes, she wasn't.
"Why did I think it was a good idea to come on a mission with you?" Levy complained.
"Only one person died this time." Felix answered.
Levy didn't know how to respond to that since clearly that wasn't the issue here. She complained about the gruesome scene, yet he thought she was talking about the amount of deaths.

Time began to pass after eliminating the two megalodons. Safe to say, a few of the researchers within the station were not happy. Mainly since they felt it was a waste to kill them and not give them a chance to study them. Still, they only showed their displeasure, but didn't dare say anything to Felix.
Mainly because they were a bit afraid they might become the next on floating apart in the sea. While this is more of their own illusion and feeling, it couldn't be helped. For when they learned of the short battle, they saw Felix waiting without much fluctuation. When compared to the girl who came with him who didn't look so well.
"Was it necessary to use such magic to kill them?"
Minway stood next to Felix as they watched as many from within the research station gathering what they could from the water. Teeth, organs, anything that hasn't sunk or eaten by the rapidly arriving sharks.
"Is something wrong?" Felix asked.
While it was a bit messy, he wasn't some sharp shooter who could use a thin beam to accurately shoot it brain. So he decided to take a safer approach and just sliced it. Granted he might have overdone it since he thought the defense boosted by magic would be tougher.
"Seems like such a waste for a chance to study such a long thought extinct creature." Minway sighed. "Now there is a chance they are truly gone this time."
"Why sigh. There are probably more down below." Felix didn't understand the sadness.
Surely after surviving so long below that only these two were left. While there might not be many, isn't it too soon to say they went extinct again.
Minway looked ready to say something, but his daughter Suyin appeared and pulled him away. Felix, just watched the sea for a while longer feeling they would be sent back soon. The mission to guard the station might end early.
Sure enough, after two more days after the station began to sort out all that happened over the last few days. Felix and Levy boarded a ship and began heading back to Fairy Tail a bit ahead of schedule. It was not so much they were being kicked away, but that the entire station was being shut down for a short time.
Jack Morris and Minway who sponsored and ran the station were having conflicting ideas on how to use the recent discovery. So it looked like the two were going to split and until they sort out what is going to be done about the station. It seems they will be shutting down the station for the time being.
"Back to Fairy Tail." Levy side.
"Yes, back to Fairy Tail." Felix agreed.
Under the bright sun, the two stood on the ship heading back to land.
