Her eyes widened slightly. "Oh."
"I won't force you," he added quickly. "I just want them to meet the woman I love."
Her heart skipped. Warmth spread through her chest.
"Okay," she said softly.
His relief was immediate. "Really?"
She nodded again.
"Then after dinner with your father, I'll arrange it."
"Okay."
Only then did the nerves hit her.
He felt the change instantly, pulling her closer and kissing the top of her head. "Don't worry. Just be yourself. You're more than enough."
She nodded, holding him tighter.
For a fleeting moment, the urge to research his grandmother and mother crossed her mind. But she dismissed it just as quickly. Jin Di trusted her. She wouldn't pry into his family behind his back.
She had meant to nap.
