In the footage, a group of girls cornered another girl, delivering brutal punches and kicks while screaming vicious insults; they only stopped when someone stepped in to intervene.
I'd enhanced the camera focus on the bullies' faces, sharpening each image until every single one of them was crystal clear and unmistakable.
"Doesn't she look familiar, Zack?" I asked casually. "The ringleader there—isn't that your precious daughter?"
Zack went ghost-white. The thought flashed through his mind: 'How does she have this footage? I destroyed it.'
I tapped the virtual keyboard with deliberate precision. "Oh, we're just getting started. Next up—every bribe you've taken since taking office, plus all your embezzlement transaction records."
