Heat, Speedy, and Tigeren continued searching for Marisha. Suddenly, an enormous amount of emyiko energy appeared.
"Do you sense that energy?" Speedy whispered.
"Yeah. The energy is covering the entire forest with its presence," Heat commented.
They slowed down and remained alert. Heat used his Yaclifa ebatix to amplify his sight. He spotted a spider in an open field of the forest.
"I found him. The black spider you told me about."
"You actually found Marisha? Where is he?" Tigeren questioned, amazed.
"He's at a clear field of grass. We have to get there quickly," Heat replied.
Heat flew as fast as he could. Speedy grabbed Tigeren's paw and ran with amazing speed.
A few seconds passed, and they appeared before Marisha.
"Speedy, let me go!" Tigeren said.
Speedy replied with a hint of sarcasm, "You're welcome, you overgrown cat."
Speedy released his paw and said, "You should learn to say thank you."
"I don't need to thank fools," Tigeren said.
Heat shouted, "We're on a mission here. You must stop fighting and try getting along for once..."
Marisha interrupted, "Who are you, and what are you doing here?"
They paused and shifted their sights to Marisha.
"I recognize you two. Speedy and Tigeren?"
"You know each other? How—" Heat asked but was interrupted by Tigeren.
"We don't have time to explain. We have to capture him," Tigeren's voice sounded dark.
Heat tried asking further, but Tigeren's state made it hard.
"He's right. Stay focused," Speedy said, his voice low and serious.
The beasts' expressions turned grim. The air around them thickened.
Marisha broke the silence. "Both of you haven't forgotten the past. You still carry pain within your hearts."
"You'll pay for what you did," Tigeren said, tightening his fists. His green stripes glowed with energy. His teeth gritted together. The sound from his teeth was like two swords clashing against each other. His energy erupted.
He charged with rage, his face darker. His claws were released from his paws. He punched Marisha.
Marisha backed away and released his ebatix. His Shocking Web ebatix. The Shocking Web allowed a large amount of lightning energy to be released through his webs.
The Shocking Web created a net around Tigeren. The web electrified him.
Speedy thundered toward Marisha, ready to strike.
"Tigeren, I'm coming to save you," Speedy yelled with determination.
With his element of speed, he dashed.
A speed kick met Marisha's face.
"Neither of you are strong enough. After all these years, both of you are still too weak," Marisha declared, his body barely damaged.
He struck Speedy down with his ebatix.
Heat was the only xtro left. Heat used the Double Elemental Feathers toward Marisha. He fused his elements of wind and fire in his ebatix.
The wind complemented the fire when fused together. The fire scorched the webs covering Tigeren's body.
"I won't let you get away with what you did," Tigeren stated, his claws cutting the webs loose.
The webs loosened, and the fire burned them to ashes.
The smell of ash spread across the battlefield.
The grass around them cried out for water. Clouds of smoke covered the sky.
"Heat, thanks for the assist, but stay out of this fight," Tigeren growled, his eyes fixed on Marisha.
"Tigeren's rage is consuming him. I have to do something," Heat's thoughts struck.
He used his Double Elemental Feathers to free Speedy. He used a binding spell on Tigeren and knocked him unconscious. He used his strength element to carry both Tigeren and Speedy.
"Marisha, we'll meet you next time," Heat said with confidence. He teleported himself along with the beasts.
"This eagle is skilled. I overheard Tigeren call him Heat. And from what I've seen, he can use more than one element," Marisha said, a monologue forming after Heat left.
"Tigeren and Speedy won't stop me. I will kill, just like I did before. Even with the pain and thirst for revenge, you won't stop me."
