"I killed my own master," Tigeren said, his voice heavier than before.
"Yes. You're a murderer. And always will be a murderer," Marisha stated.
Tigeren shook his head in panic. "I didn't mean to. He couldn't have died if it wasn't for me."
Speedy raised his paw and slapped him. "Snap out of it!" he shouted.
Tigeren stopped and looked into Speedy's eyes. He saw the straight face of a long friend.
Speedy thundered, "You blame yourself for his death. You're the one being foolish. I know you. Master Chahi didn't die because of you. Marisha is the reason for his death!"
Speedy stood up on his legs. "You don't have to carry the pain alone. He was my master too."
Heat ordered, "Speedy, let's take him down."
Speedy and Heat sprinted toward Marisha. Heat used his Double Elemental Feathers toward Marisha. Marisha dodged his attack and released a large number of lightning blasts.
"You won't escape my attack," Speedy said, determined to defeat Marisha. He attacked with his own ebatix, the Speed Barrage, an attack that launched ten kicks in one second.
Marisha couldn't evade the kicks. He flew across the battlefield and crashed against the ground. An explosion of dust burst when he crashed. Heat blew away the dust with his wind element.
Marisha shook off the dust from his body. "You're going to pay for that. Maybe you might have gained some power over the years. I will finish you with my elemental kantra."
"What?" they shouted, their eyes wide open.
"I can't believe this. He knows the elemental kantra," Tigeren said as he tried standing from his spot.
Heat and Speedy went back to stand by him.
"You shouldn't be standing. You've been fighting alone, and you got damaged pretty badly," Speedy said with a hint of humor.
Tigeren retorted, "Don't worry about it. Worry about yourself, fool."
Speedy shot back, "What did you just say? You shouldn't be the one to talk!"
"Both of you need to calm yourselves. We are facing a big challenge," Heat advised.
Marisha covered himself with webs. The sticky white silk formed a cocoon. It hardened like steel.
"What's he planning to do with the cocoon?" Speedy asked.
"This is bad! He is preparing his elemental kantra," Heat said.
The cocoon started shaking. Dark clouds gathered in the sky. They covered the sun's smile. Lightning struck from the clouds. One after another, the lightning attacked.
"Watch out!" Speedy said.
They blocked the shocking blades from the angry sky.
"Feathers spread," Heat said. His feathers created a barrier around them.
"This will protect us for a while," he thought.
Suddenly, a huge wave of thunder crashed against the barrier. The barrier broke like glass, and the attacking clouds grew angrier.
Lightning struck them down. Blood painted across their bodies. Wounds opened up. The rough ground became their bed, struggling to stand after the attack.
"He's stronger than I thought," Heat said. His wings were leaking blood.
The cocoon cracked bit by bit. Lightning charged the cocoon. It burst open, and Marisha came out, his energy heavier than before. His body was transformed.
While his body remained dark, his legs turned crimson red. His eyes thirsted for blood.
Marisha declared, "Now, I will show you my power!"
