Heat continued soaring in the sky. From one continent to another. Days passed until he had his sight on his new destination. "I really love my speed element. I made it faster than I could ever expect," his thoughts whispered. He entered the new main kingdom.
The Red Beast Kingdom. Huge mountains surrounded the kingdom. A kingdom in the color of red. "I hope that this kingdom has strong xtros. I already have Idra in my team. I need more of them," Heat said. As he entered the kingdom, he met a scene of destruction.
A massive tiger was smashing everything around him. This tiger's name was Tigeren. A yellow tiger with green stripes. Trees were broken like twigs. Cracks marked the ground. Many warriors were flung as punches were thrown.
"Wow. My element of strength is nothing compared to the rampaging tiger," Heat's inner thoughts spoke. "I have to help those guys before meeting the Breamo leaders."
He charged toward the tiger and gave him a kick. Tigeren blocked his attack. He grabbed Heat's wings and threw him away. Heat crashed, his body covered in dust.
Tigeren pounced toward him, his fist aiming for Heat's face. Heat saw the attack coming. He dodged it with seconds to spare.
"That's enough," Speedy yelled. "Tigeren, you need to calm yourself before you kill someone."
Speedy was a cheetah, as white as snow. Thin pink spots crossed his white-coated body.
"Who's that guy?" the thought crossed Heat's mind as his focus turned to Speedy.
Tigeren pounced toward Speedy, ready to unleash his fury. Speedy countered Tigeren's strength with his own element of speed. He unleashed a barrage of kicks while Tigeren attacked like a crazy beast. The ground beneath them shattered.
The sound of clashing souls echoed in the air.
Heat saw no end to their battle. He triggered his power and used a binding spell on both of them. The clashing of beasts stopped as they struggled to break free from the spell.
Heat neutralized Tigeren's rage with the effects of his binding spell. The raging beast became a memory. Heat suppressed the spell. Tigeren and Speedy were set free.
"Thank you. What's your name?" Tigeren asked Heat, his voice lower.
"My name is Heat. And you're Tigeren, right? You sound polite when you're not rampaging," Heat remarked, his voice sounding humorous.
"Never mind all that. We have to see our Breamo leaders," Tigeren stated, his claw pointing at the castle.
They went to see the king and queen of the Red Beast Kingdom. The castle was covered in sparkling rubies. The entire castle flashed with red light. As they approached the Breamo leaders, Heat gazed around, wonder covering his eyes.
"The red light shining from the rubies can capture a person's focus," Heat thought as he got closer to their presence. He saw King Weli, a jaguar as red as the sun's goodbye, and his wife, Queen Nobeiza, the feminine ruby of the kingdom.
"Tigeren, you were out of control again. The noise was disturbing," King Weli said, sighing in disappointment.
Tigeren's tone tinged with regret. "I'm sorry. Blinded by anger, destruction followed me. If it wasn't for Speedy and Heat, someone would have died."
"Heat? So you're that eagle King Gorame mentioned. This kingdom thanks you for your actions," Queen Nobeiza said, her voice as calm as water.
"My wife is correct. How did you help one of my best xtros?" King Weli asked, his focus turning to Heat. His interest hung from his face.
Heat explained, his confidence mixed with his arrogance flying from his beak. "I used a spell that neutralizes anger. It wasn't that special. But I guess it was! I risk my life throughout my adventures. I am happy to have been of service, and I hope to help you again."
"He sounds more confident than before. This guy reminds me of myself," Speedy said, a smile cracking on his face.
"Heat, I need your assistance for a specific mission. Do you think you can help us once again?" King Weli asked, his tone clear and direct.
"I realize that you want my amazing skills for a mission, but I have important things to do. You can send your xtros for this important mission," Heat responded, his voice relaxed.
"What are these things you have to take care of?" King Weli asked.
Heat explained, "I'm looking for xtros. These xtros will join me on my journey, and we'll grow stronger as a team. These xtros need to be strong xtros. I want to focus on my quest."
"Well. Your response is respectable. If you're looking for strong xtros, the Red Beast Kingdom shall give you not one, but two of our xtros," King Weli proposed.
"If you're serious about this, I'll help as much as I can," Heat said, his mood brighter than fire.
"Weli, are you sure about this? Why give him two xtros instead of one?" Queen Nobeiza asked, concerned about her husband's proposal.
"We have plenty of strong xtros. Besides, I am giving him two xtros for two reasons. The first reason is the fact that he helped save the kingdom. Heat isn't from here, but he still risked his life for the kingdom," King Weli explained, his paw holding his wife's hand.
"What's the second reason?" she asked, her voice softer.
King Weli explained, "He is going on a dangerous mission. A mission that demands a reward after achieving it. You know who I'm talking about."
"Fine, Weli. You clearly thought about your decision," Queen Nobeiza stated.
King Weli shifted his sight to Heat and the two beasts. "Speedy, I want you and Tigeren to continue the mission I gave you. This time, take Heat with you. After you're done with the mission, you will join Heat's adventure."
"What? But why us?" Tigeren and Speedy asked.
King Weli said, "You two are among the best in the kingdom. You always asked me to set you free for an incredible adventure. This is the only chance I'm giving you."
"Are you serious?" they said, shock written all over their faces.
"King Weli, you're really going to allow us to leave the kingdom and forge our own path?" Tigeren asked, determined but stunned.
King Weli approached Tigeren and Speedy. He reached out and gently touched their shoulders.
King Weli uttered the words, "As the Breamo leaders of the Red Beast Kingdom, I can tell you these words. Both of you have incredible powers that can't reach their peak here. The only way to reach your potential is by letting you go."
"Are you sure that we're ready for that? I'm not as skilled as you think I am, and Tigeren can't control his power without unleashing his inner beast," Speedy said. A tear appeared in his eye, and he slowly lowered his head.
Tigeren turned his face and looked at Speedy. "Speedy is right. His words are heavy, but they carry the truth," he thought.
King Weli tapped their shoulders with his soft paw. They turned and locked onto his eyes. He declared with a tone as clear as clean glass, "I believe in you. Both of you need this. I always will. You need to grow on your own. And I can feel deep within my heart that Heat is the xtro who will guide you. I heard about him from King Jaka. I wouldn't have sent him on this mission if I didn't know about his capabilities."
Speedy lifted his arm and wiped the tear from his eye. "You're right. You're pretty wise, you old fossil," Speedy said, pointing at King Weli.
Speedy and Heat burst out laughing. Tigeren punched both of them and said, "You fools. King Weli gave us an inspiring speech, and you just had to ruin the moment. Your jokes are really getting on my nerves, Speedy."
"Okay, I get it. Jeez, you're too uptight, you know. Loosen up, dude," Speedy said, rubbing the pain from the punch.
"The two of them remind me of my time with my brothers. Me and Psyckit used to fight over stupid things while Blue and Steelio laughed it off and tried stopping our fight," Heat's memories flashed back to the times he spent with his brothers.
King Weli ordered, "Your target was spotted at the Cakiswa Forest, far beyond the mountains that surround us. You need to leave as soon as possible. Get along, and remember that this will be my last mission to you. After this mission, you will join Heat."
They left for their mission to the Cakiswa Forest.
