Ezra
Slowly, I approached Lilith. His eyes held that glint of evil and chaos. I wanted to pound him, to cause him unimaginable pain that even in the afterlife, he would never forget my face. My entire body was bloodied from the fight with the hybrid but I liked it. The smell of blood was helping to calm my senses.
"You killed my best man, he was my favorite you know," he said. "Impressive. But you're still just one person."
"Last chance," I told him. "Leave Aethelgard or die." Of course I wasn't going to let him go. I just wanted him to get far away so I could kill him without any strings holding me back. Like possibly hurting Allen's body in the process.
Lilith laughed. The mocking edge only added to my rage. "I'm not going anywhere. Not until I feed your skin to the gods of the underworld. You see, that was the deal I made with them. It's the reason I'm more powerful and stronger now, thanks to my mistress."
"Show me your power then." My voice held no warmth or emotion.
