Shinjuku. The Rooftop.
Mirai weighed a giant axe in his hand—a Cursed Tool he had picked up from a dead sorcerer.
Looking down at the crowded streets, he spotted Mei Mei. She was standing atop a pile of Cursed Spirit corpses, looking bored.
"Grade 2 spirits are for pocket money," Mei Mei muttered, wiping blood off her cheek. "Grade 1s are for the scholarship fund."
Swoosh!
Mirai leaped from the sky. He landed beside her with a heavy thud, cracking the pavement.
"Miss Mei Mei," Mirai smiled.
Mei Mei tensed, gripping her axe. But then she saw the Kamui Dimension swirling open beside Mirai.
From the void, a massive, withered wooden tail shot out.
Thwack!
It pierced the pile of Cursed Spirit corpses Mei Mei had collected.
"Oh dear," Mirai chuckled. "I seem to have damaged your merchandise."
"Don't worry," he added, seeing her frown. "I'll pay for them. 100 million yen for the lot."
Mei Mei's expression instantly brightened. "Deal. The Clan Head is generous."
"I have urgent business elsewhere," Mirai said, stepping back onto his shikigami Nue. "If you find any more... special specimens... send them to the Zenin estate."
"Understood."
Mirai took off. Nue shrieked, lightning crackling around its wings as it shot toward the edge of the barrier.
Mei Mei watched him go. "If that attack had been aimed at me..."
She shivered. "Interesting boy."
...
The Void.
Nue crashed through the barrier and flew straight into the Kamui Dimension.
Endless darkness. A road with no end.
In the distance, a faint white light flickered. It was a beacon.
White Zetsu.
Mirai couldn't teleport long distances without a marker. White Zetsu, being born from the Gedo Mazo, acted as a GPS tracker.
"Found you," Mirai whispered.
He sensed the massive Cursed Energy clash happening at Jujutsu High.
...
Tokyo Jujutsu High.
The campus was a ruin.
Maki, Panda, and Inumaki lay on the ground, battered and bloody. They had tried to stop Geto, but they were overwhelmed.
Tap. Tap.
Footsteps approached.
The three students tensed, ready to fight.
But it wasn't an enemy.
A white deer with large antlers and four eyes stepped out of the shadows. Round Deer.
"Don't panic," Maki wheezed. "That's Brother Mirai's shikigami."
The deer lowered its head. A warm light enveloped them.
Reverse Cursed Technique.
In seconds, their broken bones knit together. Their cuts closed. Their pain vanished.
The Round Deer dissolved into ink and sank into the ground.
"He's here," Panda said, looking up at the school building. "Mirai-sensei is here."
They rushed to the window to watch the final showdown.
...
The Courtyard.
Yuta Okkotsu stood facing Suguru Geto.
Behind Yuta, the Queen of Curses, Rika Orimoto, screamed. Her restrictions were fully lifted.
"I love you! I love you! Yuta!"
"You womanizer!" Geto screamed, his face contorted with rage and jealousy.
He unleashed his ultimate technique.
"Maximum: Uzumaki."
Thousands of Cursed Spirits condensed into a swirling vortex of black energy. Beside him, the Special Grade Imaginary Vengeful Spirit Tamamo-no-Mae added its power.
"How rude," Yuta said softly. He raised his sword, bathed in Rika's overwhelming energy.
"This is Pure Love."
"Then I represent Justice!" Geto roared.
BOOM!!!
The two blasts collided.
The explosion was like a nuclear bomb. A pillar of purple light pierced the sky. The school buildings crumbled. The barrier shattered.
...
The Aftermath.
Silence returned to the ruins.
In a dark alleyway near the school, a figure limped along the wall.
Geto Suguru.
His right arm was gone. His body was broken. He was bleeding heavily.
"Heh... hehe..."
Geto laughed, coughing up blood.
"She's really strong. Rika Orimoto."
"Next time..." Geto muttered, his eyes burning with madness. "Next time, I'll definitely get her. Once I have Rika... I can slaughter the Zenin Clan. I can kill the monkeys."
"I can create my world."
He stumbled, leaning against the wall for support.
"Satoru won't be able to stop me next time."
Suddenly, Geto froze.
A shadow fell over him.
"We meet again, Suguru."
Geto looked up.
Standing at the end of the alley, pristine and untouched by the battle, was Zenin Mirai.
And behind him, peering out from the shadows with a wicked grin... was White Zetsu.
"Hello, Monk!" White Zetsu waved. "Did you lose something? Like an arm?"
Mirai smiled.
"You look like you need a hand."
