~Soutarou & Misty POVs, one day after leaving Viridian City~
Soutarou deadpanned as Misty hung off his back and screeched and whined about bugs.
'Why did I bring this worthless baggage along again? IT'S JUST A FUCKING WEEDLE! IF YOU SAW THE BUGS FROM MY OLD WORLD YOU'D BE DEAD BY NOW!'
Soutarou just clutched his forehead while his other arm supported Misty who had now slung Soutarou's backpack behind her, clutched him and wrapped her legs around his waist.
Soutarou grit his teeth and cursed over and over again in his, 'I should've let Ash take this worthless piece of junk, if I get something after all of this nonsense, it'll just put me at a flat zero, not a positive! Dammit! What happened to my traits giving me an advantage of business sense? This woman is worthless! Even Sakura from Naruto would probably be better than this!'
Soutarou just glared at Misty and said, "If you don't stop whining I'm throwing you into a Beedrill swarm with a Pokémon attracting potion."
Misty's eyes turned into a poached egg like a teary mess. *Insert Anya_Poached_Egg_Crying.gif*
She pouted and sobbed silently, all while Soutarou said, "I swear I shouldn't have brought you along-"
Misty cried, "Don't leave me! Please, I'll do anything young master Soutarou!!!"
Soutarou deadpanned and made a face of disgust, and thought, 'Now I know why Ash never took anything with her further… It's because she's… she's… I don't even know what to call her…She's truly a special species…'
'The only saving grace is Snivy's been having a field day watching us fool around like this, and realized even if she was worthless I wouldn't abandon her. Thanks to that, her affection level finally hit 100, which is good enough for her to consider me as a decent person. What is it that Chinese say…? Ah yes… I got a good person card. Something like that, I never understood those translation FFs all that well, but like always in life… But fuck it, we ball.'
'Still… How far are we from Pewter? The Anime and the games never really did the distances justice… I get it, we're almost there… But like still this is going to be a pain in the ass… Now I really wish Misty hadn't left that stupid ass bike at the Pokemon center for transfer to Cerulean City…'
In indignation and anger Soutarou gave Misty's backside a smack and told her to stop whining.
Misty glared at him, but said nothing resting her chin on Soutarou's shoulder while avoiding looking at bug type pokémon. She puffed her cheeks out at Soutarou's behavior, both realized that the other was both insufferable, but enjoyable. Soutarou had realized by now that time was passing much faster thanks to Misty's presence, however annoying she might be, but he also refused to admit that. Misty was much the same, in just one day both had become frenemies of the highest caliber.
Misty on the other hand seriously wondered why this idiot was so caring for his Pokémon, but at the same time so damn irritating, she was just a girl, why can't she be a little scared of a bug?
Misty's gaze filled with mischievous determination, all while Soutarou was thinking, 'If this girl thinks I won't throw her into a Beedrill Nest, she's damn wrong! I'll do it but I'll spray her with a max repel before it. Easy win. And if that doesn't work I'll throw her to a Gyarados and watch, until she's on the edge and begging for me to save her. Then once she comes running for me to save her I'll think about it!'
As the pair thought about similar things, the ground began to shake, and Soutarou's eyes shot up and narrowed and he signalled to Misty to hop off. Soutarou immediately released Milotic, Snivy, and Ralts. Misty followed through and released her Staryu, but decidedly didn't release her Goldeen.
Before a small Weavile broke through the tree line, Soutarou immediately commanded Ralts to use Psychic and had Milotic follow it up with Dragon Pulse. Soutarou felt something coming from his right and had Snivy cast Protect. Only for the protect to rapidly be shattered, causing Soutarou's and Misty's eyes to widen.
An arrogant female laugh rang out before proudly saying, "Prepare for trouble!"
Soutarou's eyes widened and his fan boy face came out immediately as he heard that unmistakable voice. At the same time a chill ran down his spine and his guard went up severely as he realized he was about to encounter a boss level entity… In the starter zone!
Another more serious voice echoed, "Make it double!"
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all peoples within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"Cassidy!"
"We're Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and night."
"Surrender to us now or surely you'll lose the fight!"
An unserious, but playful voice finished, "Domino that's right!"
Soutarou completely broke the environment as he began to clap and cheer and say "encore!" He even whistled making the red head, Jessie, and blondes, Cassidy and Domino deadpan. Before the three of them finally got a good look at Soutarou and all three of their eyes widened to an extreme. They paused and even their Pokémon did as well, Jessie's eyes turned hazy and Cassidy's eyes lit up while Domino's eyes turned hopeful, before the trio turned somewhat confused. Soutarou immediately caught onto their expressions and raised his guard further ordering Ralts to begin casting a lightscreen over them.
Soutarou's eyes narrowed, 'There's the feeling again.'
Soutarou took an instinctive step back, but calmly raised his hands in mock surrender while in reality he began firing off mental commands to Ralts to prepare to teleport the group out of there as quickly as possible.
Jessie the red head was the first to rasp out in a dazed tone, "What's your name…?"
Soutarou thought for a moment before deciding to verify something and honestly saying, "Soutarou. Soutarou Morita-."
Domino interjected with narrowed and dejected eyes saying, "Morita….Not Takashina?"
Soutarou's pupils dilated for a moment before his expression returned to normal though his thoughts spiraled, 'Takashina? Summers? I see… so my guess really was right… Damn…'
Cassidy on the other hand didn't bother asking any further questions as a pokeball shot out of her hand, and a Garchomp was released. The Garchomp actually paused, looked at Soutarou and then back at Cassidy, before sniffing a bit and lighting up and jumping gleefully at Soutarou and pulling him into a bear hug.
Cassidy, who was about to order her Garchomp to attack, was angry, but still calmly commanded, "Garchomp attack that fake. NOW!"
Garchomp looked flabbergasted before actually turning around, quickly sniffling Soutarou and then growling at Cassidy and positioning itself between Cassidy and Soutarou.
Realizing a gap had just opened up Soutarou began using his viridian power to communicate with Garchomp and soothe it, which just made Garchomp's expression more determined as if it felt Cassidy was making a major mistake.
Domino blanked and Jessie didn't know whether to help or not. Cassidy grit her teeth before saying, "Garchomp return! We'll talk about this later-"
Soutarou immediately had Ralts block the return wave using psychic. Misty on the other hand was completely confused and lost as to what was happening, but positioned herself to Soutarou flank and had taken a step further even releasing her Starmie.
Cassidy began laughing and clutched her forehead and said, "Garchomp… You really… I see. No matter."
Cassidy took out five more pokeball and held each between the gaps of her fingers in their miniaturized forms and one in her other hand and tossed them upwards. She declared, "Knock some sense into Garchomp and capture that man! Come out, Roserade, Togekiss, Houndoom, Magnezone, and Kingambit!"
Jessie faltered for a moment before she followed suit, deciding to attack first and ask questions later, she called out, "Stand ready for battle! Hydreigon, Chandelure, Salazzle, Gengar, and Mismagius! Weavile use Ice Shard!"
Soutarou commanded, "Milotic use Scald! Counter it!"
Domino grit her teeth and threw out her pokeballs as well revealing six more pokemon: Metagross, Hatterene, Absol, Honchkrow, Zoroark, and Gliscor.
To Soutarou's surprise even though Weavile used Ice Shard, he could tell it was hesitating and the resultant move while powerful did not match the level of pressure that that Weavile was giving off.
In the end after all their pokemon were released instead of having their full six teams each, Absol and Hatterene turned on Domino after hearing Domino order Metagross to use psychic. Jessie's Gengar and Mismagius turned on her, and Cassidy's Togekiss followed suit.
Soutarou, realizing what was going on, calmly said, "You shouldn't betray your masters… But I also have no intention of fighting… So let's call it a day here ladies… We go on our way, and you on yours… How about it-?"
Cassidy rasped in refusal, "Not a chance! You're coming with us!!"
At the same time she recalled her Mangezone and Houndoom that were hesitant.
Jessie firmly added, "If you have no intention to fight then just give up we won't treat you badly!"
Similar to Cassidy she recalled her Chandelure and her Weavile that were extremely reluctant to attack.
Domino muttered, "We don't care about the pokemon anymore… That was the power of Viridian… only- No… We're taking you for sure…!"
Domino recalled her Honchkrow and Gliscor.
Sighing and realizing negotiations had broken down Soutarou looked around him and recalled his Milotic and tossed Snivy and Ralts on his shoulders and transmitted, {Keep me safe from wandering blows… this is going to get rough… Even if we have an advantage here somehow…}
Cassidy roared, "Kingambit use Swords Dance and move to the back! Roserade, Razor Leaf, let's go!"
Domino followed it up with, "Metagross, Earthquake on the flank separate that girl and the boy! Zoroark, Dark Pulse!"
Jessie continued the chain by ordering, "Salazzle Sludge Wave, combine it with Roserade's Razor Leaf. Hyrdeigon triple Dragon Pulse!"
Soutarou who was thrown off by their quick rejection and attack, shook himself free and asked, using Power of Viridian, Garchomp to counter the Earthquake with one of his own and force the cracking ground away from them and divide the battlefield, while he had Gengar and Mismagius use Shadow Ball on Kingambit's flanks and break the Swords Dance and the Hyrdeigon's triheaded Dragon Pulse, all while he had Togekiss get airborne and blow the incoming Sludge Wave-Razor Leaf off-course and to follow it up with Air Slash, lastly having Hatterene use Psyshock to counter the Zoroark's dark pulse, and Asbol to use Protect. Before ordering Ralts to follow up the protect with a Light Screen and Snivy to cast another Protect around them.
Soutarou then had Ralts guide his psychic energy to form another light screen to wrap around him, Snivy, and Ralts.
Misty, unsure of what to do just ordered her Starmie and Staryu to use Protect.
BOOOM!
The very forest itself began to shake from the clash of moves and immediately dust began to rise in a massive cloud.
Soutarou's eyes widened from the sheer force of the moves and he realized that the Pokémon that were defending and attacking were no slouches and much stronger than even his Milotic or modified Ralts at present.
'S-grade criminals huh ... Champion Level… and even then these guys are hesitating and reducing their strength as for those guys attacking… I can tell these Pokémon will defend me, but they really won't attack their trainer… It's definitely related to this Takashina guy… What are the chances I look just like him and that he had the same template as me and Summers… That theory is becoming more and more probable… But I need to get the hell out of here…'
'The problem is… Cassidy seems to want to deal with me… But Domino and Jessie seem like they want to capture me… And I can feel that some sort of tag has been placed on me… Seems like Aura or Psychic kind… Ralts doesn't have enough time to remove it and I don't have a clue as to how to do it… Damn… There's got to be a way out and losing them from our tail too…'
'Let's test my theory fully… If they think I'm Soutarou Takashina…. Then we'll just fake it till we make it!'
