Chapter 301 - Chapter 301: News from Dragon! Cyrus’s Request

Robin still did not quite understand what Cyrus was talking about.

But that made sense.

A concept like "other worlds" was not something anyone could easily guess without explanation, especially when the technological level of this world was so strangely uneven.

Robin was already considered one of the most learned people in this world.

Even if Cyrus told her outright, she might not necessarily be able to understand such a concept.

And something like that could only truly be believed after seeing and experiencing it firsthand.

After all, it went far beyond ordinary understanding.

Robin did not continue asking, and Cyrus did not keep explaining.

Soaked in the cool pool, the two of them fell quiet.

Cyrus did not know what Robin was thinking, as for him, he was considering Vegapunk's situation.

In truth, Cyrus was fully aware of what Stussy had said.

Vegapunk's value was absolutely worth him making a personal move.

It was just that the timing was indeed not suitable right now.

Still, he could ask about it.

If he could get his hands on the Mother Flame Vegapunk was researching, perhaps it would be useful to him as well.

Thinking of that, Cyrus moved the arm wrapped around Robin's shoulders away and picked up the Den Den Mushi again.

Feeling Cyrus move, Robin sat upright and watched him pick up the Den Den Mushi, her eyes showing a bit of confusion.

Buru buru!

As the sound rang out, the Den Den Mushi was quickly answered.

A low voice came from the other side.

"You actually contacted me first?"

There was clear surprise in the voice.

"We're partners, at least. Is it really that strange for me to contact you?"

Hearing Dragon's words, Cyrus raised an eyebrow, his tone casual.

"Although we are partners, this is the first time you've contacted me on your own, isn't it?"

"Seems like it. But that's not important. I contacted you this time because I wanted to ask about Vegapunk."

Cyrus stated his purpose directly.

"Vegapunk? That will be difficult. It's hard for my people to get close to him."

Hearing Cyrus's words, Dragon immediately gave his answer.

"So the Revolutionary Army really does have people inside the Marines? It wouldn't happen to be Kizaru, would it?" Cyrus suddenly said.

Robin had been quietly listening, but when she heard Cyrus say that, her little mouth parted slightly and her expression going a little blank.

Kizaru was with the Revolutionary Army?

That did not sound very possible, did it?

He was a Marine Admiral!

If someone at that level was truly part of the Revolutionary Army, then the Revolutionary Army had hidden itself far too deeply.

"Hm? Why would you say that? I would certainly like that to be true."

Dragon's answer carried obvious surprise, but Cyrus could not tell whether those words were true or false.

"As for Vegapunk, if possible, send someone to bring him out. It isn't convenient for me to act personally."

"It seems you truly value Vegapunk."

"Of course. He's someone who possesses technology several hundred years ahead of the world. Talent like that is rare. It would be far too much of a pity if he died."

Cyrus chuckled lightly as he spoke.

"I'll take your words as sincere for now," Dragon said after a moment of silence.

"Of course they're sincere. Once you come into contact with him, you'll understand why I say that. As for everything else, the development of the Hunter Guild has been helped greatly by the Revolutionary Army."

Cyrus knew very well that Crocodile was indeed capable, but relying on Crocodile's abilities alone, the Hunter Guild could not possibly have developed this quickly.

The Revolutionary Army had indeed put in a great deal of effort behind the scenes.

Of course, the Revolutionary Army's motives were not pure either.

By using the Hunter Guild's development, they were also doing their own work.

But for the Hunter Guild, it was still a suitable trade.

"Each side takes what it needs."

Dragon's tone became a little lighter after hearing that.

"Mm. If something comes up later, you can contact me directly."

After saying that, Cyrus prepared to hang up the Den Den Mushi.

"Wait."

Dragon's voice rang out.

"Kuina and Zoro have gone out to sea. They've also become Hunters, and they have already entered the Grand Line."

Dragon's single sentence made Cyrus sit up at once.

"They went out to sea?"

Cyrus sounded surprised.

"Yes, and they've been out for a while. But entering the Grand Line only happened recently. It seems they were chasing a pirate named Ace."

Dragon's tone became a little strange.

Cyrus froze, then raised a hand to his chin and fell into thought.

"Ace from Foosha Village?"

Cyrus's tone also became a little strange.

"You actually know that?"

Dragon was clearly surprised, his voice rising a little.

Dragon naturally knew about Ace.

After all, he also paid close attention to his own son.

Whenever he went to the East Blue to handle matters, he would occasionally make time to visit Foosha Village.

He knew about the boy who had become sworn brothers with Luffy.

But he had not expected Cyrus to directly say that Ace came from Foosha Village.

That was strange.

According to all available information, Cyrus had never gone anywhere near Foosha Village.

"Interesting. Oh, I mean, I really didn't expect Kuina and Zoro to go out to sea this early."

Cyrus set Ace's matter aside.

He was not particularly interested in the current Ace.

Kuina and Zoro entering the Grand Line this early, however, was far earlier than he had expected.

After all, Zoro's original situation should have had him setting out to sea at seventeen or eighteen.

"Kuina and Zoro are not weak. Both of them are already swordsmen capable of flying slashes," Dragon said.

He felt that after mentioning those two, Cyrus's tone had clearly become much warmer.

"Even if they're swordsmen now, it's still too early for them to enter the Grand Line. They should have trained in the East Blue for a while longer."

Cyrus spoke with a faint frown.

"It's a little late to say that now, they should be close to Alabasta soon. Their target is probably that canyon."

"All right. I understand."

Cyrus said this to the Den Den Mushi, then hung up and stood.

"Your juniors have gone out to sea, and they've even entered the Grand Line. As their senpai, shouldn't you be happy?"

Robin watched Cyrus get up and asked with a smile.

"Happy about what? Those two are exactly the kind of people who make others worry. Still, since they're swordsmen now, they should at least be able to protect themselves."

Hearing that, Cyrus shook his head.

"Do you think I should arrange someone to follow them?"

Robin looked somewhat surprised when she heard that.

"They should count as some of the few people in this world who are connected to me. If that connection becomes known, their strength as swordsmen won't be enough to protect them."

"So, do you have a suitable candidate in mind right now?"

Robin's words reminded him.

Cyrus thought for a moment, sat back into the pool, and contacted someone through the Den Den Mushi again.

Robin watched his movements curiously, wondering what he planned to do.

"This is Mihawk."

Mihawk's voice came from the Den Den Mushi.

"I need a favor."

Cyrus was direct.

"Hm? Cyrus? Aren't you in the New World?"

"I am in the New World, so I can't leave right now. I want to ask you to go to Alabasta and teach two people swordsmanship for me."

Cyrus found a reason.

"You want me to teach people swordsmanship?"

Mihawk's tone sounded strange.

"Cyrus, do I look like someone with too much free time?"

"You should be at home right now with nothing to do, shouldn't you?" Cyrus asked back.

Mihawk was rendered speechless.

Only after a long while did he speak again.

"I understand. Alabasta, then, but I may not necessarily be able to find them."

Hearing Mihawk agree, Cyrus smiled.

"You don't need to worry about that. I'll have someone send you the information."

"Fine."

Mihawk answered and immediately hung up the Den Den Mushi.

Robin stared from the side, dumbfounded.

"He agreed? That doesn't seem like his personality at all."

Robin muttered.

"Mainly because he's too bored. After leaving Sabaody Archipelago, there hasn't been any news about him. Most likely, he went home and hasn't bothered going out."

Although Mihawk was a professional wanderer of the sea, most of the time, he still stayed alone on his island.

He was the kind of person who would not leave home unless he was bored to death.

Now that Cyrus had found something for him to do, at most, he had simply given Mihawk a reason to go out.

Besides, Cyrus and Mihawk knew each other, at least.

They should count as friends, right?

Probably.

After saying that to Robin, Cyrus directly contacted Crocodile and handed the matter to him.

What else could Crocodile say?

He could only agree and send people to investigate Kuina's whereabouts.

...

Meanwhile, on Candy Island, Morgans had also received the Moby Dick's whereabouts and came looking for Cyrus to report the news.

Then Baby 5 stopped him.

Stussy had quietly approached earlier, and if Baby 5 had not noticed, then so be it.

But now this bird-man had come swaggering over openly.

Naturally, the little maid stopped him directly.

"The chairman is bathing, If you have something to say, wait until he comes out."
