"You have Charmander and Trapinch. Emma has Lapras, Squirtle, and Horsea."
"If you couldn't handle an ordinary tiger with five Pokémon…"

Why did that make sense but still feel insulting?!
Ren smiled lightly.
"Pokémon are far stronger than normal animals. Even low-level ones. You're actually very safe with them."
Luna's eyes brightened slightly.

"But we were taken to the police station afterward," Emma added. "Ren, people above might start paying attention to Pokémon now."

Ren stood at the side of the standard battle field.
"Battle format: 1 vs 1."
"When one Pokémon loses its ability or will to fight, the other side wins."
"Begin."
Lucy cheered loudly.
"Come on, Luna!"
"Destroy that stinky woman!" Lily shouted dramatically.
Emma glared at her.
"You traitor."
Lily crossed her arms proudly.
Fairness? What fairness?
She just wanted excitement.
Luna inhaled slowly.
"My heart's beating a little fast… but I'm not scared."
"Aerodactyl!"
Aerodactyl spread its massive wings and flew forward, letting out a powerful roar.
Emma smiled.
"Perfect. That makes it interesting."
She threw her Poké Ball.
"Lapras, ready to battle!"
White light flashed.
Lapras appeared calmly, looking up at Aerodactyl with clear, steady eyes.
Lucy immediately checked the Pokédex.
"Water and Ice-type…"
Luna frowned slightly.
"Both types restrain Rock and Flying…"
"But Lapras is also weak to Rock," Lucy added quickly. "And Aerodactyl has air advantage."
Lily grinned.
"Hehehe~ Emma might suffer this time."
Lucy looked at her strangely.
Was this how best friends acted?
Lily had already taken out her phone.
