Kim had taken Danny to a restaurant called "Chez Magnifique" and she used her connections to get them a table rather quickly. Kim and Danny ate several courses that Kim had paid for using the Blade of Velgalta as a credit card, which was the same as the wallet form with unlimited money. They were just about done with dessert when Danny grabbed his head in pain.
-
"What happened?" Kim asked, concerned for Danny.
-
"Nothing of import. Let's finish dessert first." Danny said to Kim after the pain went away.
-
"Not until you tell me what happened." Kim said stubbornly.
-
Danny sighed at his girlfriend. "My clone disintegrated because of exhaustion, and I just got an influx of information and power." He whispered to Kim.
-
"Was that so hard?" Kim asked, smirking at her victory.
-
"No, but I'd rather not talk about personal business in a restaurant." Danny retorted, making Kim frown at what she made Danny do.
-
"Sorry, I was just concerned." Kim said to Danny. "Can I ask you a question?" She asked.
-
"You just did, but okay." Danny said, smiling at what he said.
-
Kim rolled her eyes. "Why didn't you fight me on any of my decisions? You could have stopped me from shopping anytime, and I would have, but you didn't." She said to Danny.
-
Danny blushed. "Well, when I saw you happy and relaxed, you sort of glowed and looked really good. I don't know if that's a normal response or just my empath abilities making it stronger, but I wanted to see you happy and I was scared that you would be put off with me if I stopped you shopping." He told Kim. "As for the movie decision, I have never seen The NoteBook, so I didn't know what to expect. You have more experience with going out and being social. Sam, Tuck and I don't really go out so much." He added the last part quickly, thinking that she would misinterpret what he said. Danny started to eat his dessert again.
-
"So, you liked seeing me happy and relaxed, and just inexperienced when it comes to going out to the movies and all that." Kim summarized what Danny said and he nodded. "You know, in the long term, that would be detrimental to our relationship." Kim said to her boyfriend. "I'll teach you how to be more social when going out in the town." She added when she saw the worried look on Danny's face.
-
They spent the rest of the time eating their desserts in silence and when they were done, Kim paid for it all with her Blade credit card. When she was finished, she dragged Danny to the mall. Kim said she wanted to show Danny all the things that people their age did at the mall. She first dragged him to a clothes store to get him an outfit that he could wear.
-
"Not that I mind being your dress up doll, but do I really need a change in clothing to go out in the town?" Danny asked Kim as she picked out some clothes.
-
"You said that you didn't have much experience being social, so you don't know the right fashions that people our age wear. So, I'm gonna buy you an outfit for our next date. If you wear it, and join me this Friday, you can have a clone fly up to the moon, I can teach you more. I would buy you more, but my parents, which is to say my dad, want me to go home soon. We can get you more outfits when we go dress shopping for the dance." Kim explained, holding up various articles of clothing against Danny's body as she did so. She finally decided on an outfit. "Go try this on to see if it fits." She told Danny and he obeyed.
-
Danny went to the changing room, which was just on a wall with a heavy curtain blocking the view. "If your parents need you home soon, we should stop at my place, since you left the bags there with all of their souvenirs." He told Kim as he changed into the outfit, which fit him perfectly, much better than any of his other clothes.
-
"I know that. Show me how the outfit looks on you when you get it on." Kim said to Danny as he opened the curtain and showed her the outfit, which she took a picture of. "It looks good on you, take it off and I'll pay for it for you." She said as Danny obeyed.
-
"I can pay for it myself, it's not that expensive." Danny said, looking at the price tags of the articles that comprised the outfit. He put on his old clothes, which started to feel oversized now that he had clothes that fit him properly.
-
"Think of it as a thank you gift for making me realize it's not healthy to just have one friend when going out." Kim said as Danny walked out from behind the curtain. "You can thank me by buying my homecoming dress." She said as she took the outfit and went to the cashier for checkout.
-
"Deal. Hey, do you want to go to the Realms on Tuesday with me if what I'm thinking of is after school?" Danny asked after Kim paid for the outfit and were on their way to leave the mall. "It would kinda be a shopping trip. Sidney is going as well because he hasn't gotten the chance to explore yet." He said to his girlfriend, who stopped and stood frozen. "What's wrong?" Danny asked, scanning the immediate area.
-
"I think I saw Shego over by the fountain." Kim said in a whisper.
-
Danny looked over to the fountain and found the woman who Kim was talking about. Danny double checked with his town sense ability and could tell that it really was Shego. "Have Wade keep an eye on her through the security cameras. You said we shouldn't do hero stuff on dates and I'm holding you to it. Just like you held me to it until the rampage at the Fair." Danny told Kim as he pulled her along, away from Shego.
-
Kim groaned quietly and did as Danny said. "Wade, can you keep an eye on Shego at the Middleton Mall. She is by the fountain going towards Anton's sporting store." She said to the computer kid. "Danny is holding me to my word about not doing hero work on dates." She explained before being asked.
-
"Alright Kim. I'll get right on it and alert you if Shego does a crime." Wade said, sharing a look with Danny before he hung up.

Danny and Kim walked up to the Fenton Works building, wanting to stay together as long as they could. When they walked up the steps, Maddie opened the door and Cujo ran out and jumped at Danny. Danny caught him and both him and Kim pet him as they walked into the building.
-
"How'd you know we were here?" Danny asked his mother as he and Kim walked to the couch with the bags as they were when they left.
-
"Cujo was barking like mad and I thought he wanted out. You two just happened to be there." Maddie told her half dead son. "How was your regular date?" She asked the teenage couple.
-
"It was nice." Kim answered. "We watched The NoteBook and then went out to eat at Chez Magnifique before going to the mall to get him an outfit that fits him properly for our next date." She said to Danny's mother.
-
"Chez Magnifique? Isn't it a bit hard to get a reservation there? Why did you get him an outfit?" Maddie asked her son's girlfriend
-
"I used some connections to get us a table there and I wanted to teach Danny how to be more social in the town and he needs clothes that fit him." Kim answered Maddie as she went through the bags on the couch. She was pulling out some things and moving them to another bag and pulling stuff to lay on the couch. "We got you and Jack some souvenirs while we were at the Fair." She told Maddie.
-
"That's nice of you, but you didn't need to. It was your date after all." Maddie told the cheerleader.
-
"I know but think of it like a thank you for letting me work for you as a ghost hunter." Kim said as she handed Maddie her souvenirs. "I'll leave Mr. Fenton's and Jazz's souvenirs in their bags. I also got Sam and Tucker souvenirs, which I'll give them at school tomorrow." She said as she pulled the souvenir bags for her family and friends and walked to the door. "Can you drop me off at my place, Danny?" She asked her boyfriend.
-
"Yeah. Do you want to travel by portal or flight?" Danny asked his girlfriend.
-
"I was thinking of either using the Specter Speeder or walking." Kim told her boyfriend. "You said that you were feeling exhausted power wise earlier at dinner. I don't want you to feel even more exhausted using your powers to take me home." She said, mostly to Maddie, who sent a parental glare at Danny.
-
"Walking will take too long, and the Specter Speeder is under repair right now, so we should just use my powers, it will make sure I sleep tonight, because otherwise I would practice my new powers I got from my three bondings today." Danny said to the two women in the room. "Portals and flying don't take much of an effort to do." He added to their continued glares.
-
"I'll just drive you two. We're taking a small break, and I know where she lives." Maddie said as she grabbed her bag.
-
"That works for me." Kim said as she went outside.
-
"You know that I'll just stay up late playing with my new powers, right?" Danny asked as he followed the two women, Cujo still in his arms as he got in the car.
-
As everyone settled into the car, Maddie turned back to face Danny. "What new powers were you talking about?" She asked.
-
"I got an enchanting ability from Katherine the jeweler that is employed on Sid's realm, which she said could do anything depending on the object that the enchanting power is used on." Danny explained to the two women as Maddie backed out of the driveway. "I managed to do one enchanting trick before my clone disintegrated from pushing myself through too much exhaustion, which is what I meant. I still feel fine, if a bit tired." He added to Kim even as she glared at him for pushing himself.
-
"Clone or not, you shouldn't push yourself to exhaustion." Kim said to her boyfriend.
-
"Kim's right Danny, what would have happened if when the clone dispersed, you collapsed during your date, and she didn't know what was going on?" Maddie asked her son. "This would have been the first time your clone disintegrated before, right? What if that had been the original you?" She asked.
-
"I would have just been exhausted and not disintegrated. My powers probably wouldn't work. That's all that would happen, I'm sure." Danny told the two women who cared for him. Cujo licked his face, making Danny remember that he was there and to pet him.
-
"You don't know that what if you actually do start to disintegrate in your original body? We don't know anything about your powers and physiology; you don't exactly have a ghost doctor." Kim told her boyfriend.
-
"Tucker has been keeping track of my vitals and what should be my baseline levels of various health related things about me. I didn't really pay attention when he talked about that." Danny told his girlfriend.
-
"Tell him that I would like to see those when you get the chance to. I know that he's grounded, but it's better than nothing." Maddie told her son.
=
Maddie pulled up to the Possible residence just as James pulled into the driveway. Kim and the two Fentons got out of the car at the same time James did. Kim struggled getting all the bags, so Danny helped her out, letting Cujo down, but telling him to stay near him at all times. The group of two Fentons and two Possibles walked up to the front door of the Possible residence in silence.
-
After the four humans and ghost dog came in through the front door, Kim spoke to her dad. "Hey dad. How was work? I heard that there was an attack at the Space Center." She said as she and Danny put the bags on the dining room table.
-
"It was nothing you should be worried about. They didn't make it through the lockdown gate." James told his daughter. "Besides, Phantom and his team dealt with the attack swiftly, from what I saw from the security cameras." He added to ease his daughter's worries.
-
"Yeah, we saw part of the fight at the mall on the way to the theater." Danny spoke up as he picked Cujo back up.
-
"I wish I saw the fight, but Phantom brought Jack and I a ghost that was an inventor in life and we were working on fixing some of our hunting gear." Maddie said to the group. "Don't worry, we won't let Kim or Ron fight using faulty equipment. That was the primary reason that Kim and Danny continued their date when they got back from 1939." She added to preempt James' questions.
-
"How does Nikolai feel about working for ghost hunters?" Danny asked his mom, not thinking of asking on the ride here.
-
"He said that as long as we don't go around hunting every ghost and only the ones causing real trouble, he has no qualms about making ghost hunting tech." Maddie answered her son's question.
-
"Danny!" The twins exclaimed as they came from upstairs.
-
"Hey Jim, Tim. I happened to bring Cujo with me." Danny said, holding up his pet ghost dog.
-
"Did you-" Jim started
-
"-get our autographs yet?" Tim finished the question.
-
"Sorry, tweebs. I took all of his time today, so he didn't have the chance to get you your autographs yet." Kim said to her younger brothers, who frowned at hearing that.
-
"But don't worry, I should be able to get you their autographs soon. I just need to catch them at a time where they aren't doing hero work." Danny told the twins, brightening their faces.
-
"That's nice of you Danny." Ann said as she came out of the kitchen. "We don't want to bother heroes while they are working." She said to the twins, placing a hand on both of their heads.
-
"We know but-" Tim started.
-
"-Danny promised us autographs days ago." Jim finished the statement.
-
"Yeah, it's only been a few days since he said he would get you your autographs. Give Danny time to get them." Kim said to her younger twin brothers. "Besides, Ron and I might just have a better chance of getting you your autographs. Phantom has worked with us twice now, and helped Ron fight a new supervillain." She said to her family. "We would also work with him when the Fentons get their tech up and running." She added, remembering that Danny said that Phantom was going to be working with Fenton Works officially.
-
"Yeah, we might need him and his team to help test out some of our more defensive tech." Maddie said to the Possibles. "Anyways, we just came to drop Kim off and help her bring in her bags of souvenirs, so we should probably get going. From what I heard, they have experienced at most a whole twenty-four hours awake from their time traveling." She said as she turned to make her way to the door.
-
"See you at school tomorrow, Kim." Danny said as he crouched down as he and the twins petted Cujo. He got up from the floor and followed his mother.
-
"Thank you for bringing her home, Maddie." James said as he hurried to open the doors for the two Fentons and their ghost dog. "Though, she still had a half hour until her deadline we gave her came into effect." He added with a tone of voice that showed he was testing Danny.
-
"Kim said that she needed to be home soon, so we thought the sooner the better, so she didn't get in trouble with her family, you all." Danny said to Kim's father, who nodded in approval. Danny could feel the appreciation of bringing her home early mixed in with the worry that Kim was worried about getting in trouble with her family for being late.
-
"We best be going, I left Jack alone with the ghost Nikolai for a small break, I don't want to know what could happen if I leave the two of them alone for too long." Maddie said as she headed for the car and Danny followed suit.
-
The twins came outside before Danny got in the car. "You better bring Cujo here to play sometime." Jim said to his older sister's boyfriend.
-
"Yeah, we hardly got to pet him this time." Tim said, standing between Jim and James.
-
"I promise you that I will. I'm sure Cujo would love it as well." Danny told the twins as Cujo barked happily at the idea. "See, he agrees with me." He said as he got in the car and settled Cujo in his lap.
-
"Why did you bring Cujo with you anyway?" Ann asked as she poked her head out.
-
"I forgot he was in my arms as we left the house." Danny told Kim's mother, which earned him some laughs from the Possible clan.
-
"Well, we're glad you did. We always like playing with dogs." The twins said in unison, which Danny didn't find at all creepy after hearing Johnny and Kitty speaking in unison. Danny closed the car door and Maddie drove away.
-
After driving for a minute, Maddie turned her head to face Danny. "When are you going to get the twins their autographs?" She asked her son, who was playing with Cujo.
-
"I was planning for either Monday or Tuesday, but I might just wait until Sidney makes a hero name for the public." Danny told his mother. "They may know that Sidney is working with Phantom and Fenton Works, but the public doesn't. They should understand." He said to his mother.
-
Maddie turned her face back to the road. "Alright. But what if they don't? What will you say then?" She asked
-
"I'll tell them that obviously that Phantom doesn't use his real name because of the cliche of it." Danny told his mother. "I may have chosen it out of a panic, and it sounded like our last name, but that doesn't mean it isn't a good hero name." He said as he continued to play with Cujo.
-
"Okay, that can work. We could always say that Phantom is a relative of ours that died. Making the Phantom/Fenton connection while still keeping that you are him a secret." Maddie told her son, who paused from playing with Cujo, to think about it.
-
"Sounds risky, they are pretty smart, they build actual miniature rockets that use real rocket fuel." Danny said as he continued petting Cujo.
-
"But it would give reason to why Phantom would work for us. Fentons have always been known historically to be brave and heroic. And could explain why Amity Park is his haunt since Fentons helped found the area." Maddie tried to make Danny see her reasoning. "You should look up the history of the area, and you'll find that it's true." She added, knowing that Danny likes a challenge sometimes.
-
"I didn't know that. I will look it up, or have Wade look it up if he has the time. If this week is any indication of how busy I'll be, I don't think I'll be having much time for non-school related subjects." Danny told his mother as he went back to playing with Cujo.
-
"I guess that makes sense. You have been pretty busy this week since you met Kim and Ron. I'm surprised you two got together so soon as well. Did she really ask you out?" Maddie asked her son.
-
"It was a little roundabout way, but yes, she is the one who wanted to start a relationship. Though, it started after a slip up with my words because I was nervous. The conversation was about testing the time travel capabilities of her Blade, which she is gonna try and keep secret. Ron also got powers from the altercation with the new supervillain that Kim mentioned that he is gonna keep secret, at least the full extent of it. I should have Aranea look up Mystical Monkey Power, or Tai-shing Piqua and their connections to the Infinite Realms." Danny started to infodump on his mother.
-
"Didn't Aranea say that he found a Guardian's Challenge for a realm before you went on your time date?" Maddie asked. "Also, you have been asking them to do a lot for you without him giving you results of your previous orders, should you really bother him about something else?" She asked, worried that her son was abusing the power he held over the spider samurai.
-
"You're right. I should spread out my questions to give him time to answer them. I remember that the first time I met him, I was going to use him as a teacher of the Realms and how to fight. Hopefully I can control the speed of time in my realm so that I can get some ghost training done with them." Danny said to his mother.
-
"Just don't push yourself so hard that you start to disintegrate or melt or whatever." Maddie told her son, worried after hearing about how he had already done that with his clone.
=
Maddie pulled up to the garage next to the Fenton Works building. Danny and Maddie got out of the car and made their way to the front door and when they opened it, they found Jazz laying on the couch reading a psychology magazine.
-
"Hey Jazz, what have you been doing today?" Danny asked as he let Cujo down from his arms, which he ran right to his toy and took it to lay down in a corner.
-
"Well, I thought that since you went on a date, I should try as well. So I asked one of the people I was tutoring and he said yes, so we went out to see The NoteBook, but his girlfriend that I didn't know about caught us and we were forced out of the movie. I was so upset that I went to an ice cream shop to eat my feelings, which was anger and disgust at the person I went out on a date with. I then went to Club Banana to buy myself a sweater for the upcoming cold weather, luckily there was not another ghost attack there, and went out to Nasty Burger for actual food, and I just got home." Jazz info dumped as Danny listened and Maddie went down to the labs to work with Jack and Nikolai on the inventions. "How was your date?" She asked her little brother.
-
"Before I answer that, do you want me to haunt your supposed date for cheating with you?" Danny asked his older sister, upset that she had to go through that.
-
"Tempting, but no. I should have asked if he had a girlfriend first before asking him out. Don't use your powers unnecessarily just for me." Jazz told her half dead little brother as his eyes glowed softly.
-
"Fine." Danny said as he turned off his glowing eyes. "But the offer will stand. So, to answer your question, the date was fun. There was a minor scuffle with a technological ghost, but that was easily squashed and now Fenton Works has a new employee. After that, we just went shopping at the Fair for the rest of the day. I wanted to check out the amusement zone, but Kim looked so happy and relaxed that I didn't want to disrupt that. After we came back, there was an interim in our date with me backing two ghosts and talking to Ron about his new secret powers, then we went to the movies. We saw The NoteBook, and after that, we went to Chez Magnifique, where Kim used her connections to get us a table that day. We then went back to the mall to get me an outfit that fits me for our next date this Friday, where she said she would teach me to be a normal person socially, then we came here to grab her souvenir bags and we took her home." Danny info dumped onto his sister, who was listening intently as he spoke, just as he did for her.
-
"Funny how we both got to watch The NoteBook on our dates, right?" Jazz asked, chuckling to herself. "I'm happy that you now have clothes that fit you properly, I know that mom and dad are expecting a growth spurt from you, but you haven't had it yet, so you shouldn't worry about it for a while." She said as she placed a hand on Danny's arm. "I'm also happy that Kim is gonna help you with being more social, it'll do you some good." She said as she let go of his arm.
-
"I just hope that her work pays off. I love Sam and Tucker, but they aren't the best for social reach. I don't want to be an A-lister, but anything is better than being an outcast." Danny told his older sister.
-
"I'm sure it will, but you know that you will have to go to football games. She is the head cheerleader already and the first game is this Friday. I know you don't like going there because Dash is always there, but you should go to support your new girlfriend." Jazz said to her little brother as he played with Cujo.
-
"She didn't mention a game coming this Friday. I thought the first game came the night before the homecoming dance?" Danny asked his older sister as he played with Cujo.
-
"The first game played against another school is when the dance is, but this Friday is just a pep rally, and the players are just playing against each other then." Jazz told her younger brother as he took in her words about the rally.
-
"Okay, I think I can do that." Danny told his older sister, knowing her part there. "I had a long day today, so I'm just going to go to bed now." He said as he went to his bedroom, Cujo followed him with the toy in his mouth.
-
"Night little brother, love you." Jazz told him.
