"H—help. Me."
My voice came out as no more than a whisper. All the air from my lungs was gone, and my limbs were tired.
I crawled with every ounce of strength left, but my body refused to obey—each centimeter felt impossibly far.
All hope was gone.
I had to accept the truth before me.
"N—no. Everything is fake. Fake! This is a simulation! A set!"
I had lost all reasoning. The darkness felt cramped and suffocating.
I never had any fears or phobias.
But there was one I could never forget.
