Liara brought the spoon closer to Ryan's mouth and fed him some soup.
When the warm liquid touched his mouth, he felt a pleasant warmth spreading, and his tongue was able to taste flavors after a long period of sleep.
'I wish I could eat something else, like meat for example'
Ryan couldn't chew, so he always had to eat soup, but the ability to taste things after a long time was a good thing.
Liara took a clean cloth and began wiping the soup from his lips.
Ryan blushed.
'I can't get used to this.'
Layra noticed this and gave him a sarcastic smile.
"Are you embarrassed that I'm wiping your lips?"
And I started laughing.
"Hahahaha"
At that moment, Ryan wished the earth would swallow him up.
But moments later, his sister's facial expression changed and sadness replaced it.
She placed the soup bowl on the tray and spoke in a quiet voice.
"Ari will be going to the academy next year. I guess you didn't know because you woke up recently."
Ryan's eyes widened.
'Ari seems to have grown a lot.'
Then Liara sighed and continued speaking.
"The academy is not the place everyone thinks it is; it is a place where the strong dominate the weak, a place where the nobles command the commoners."
"That's why I was against her going there. Even if Mira is a teacher there, she won't protect her most of the time because she's a teacher and also spends most of her time in her lab."
"Also, when children go to the academy at the age of eight, they do not take a holiday until they turn twelve."
"Because their education is intensive to reach the second level in their element, and many do not reach it, those four years give them progress in the practical field, but the theoretical field begins from the fifth year."
"When they reach the age of twelve, they get a year of vacation for those who want to return home, and classes begin at the age of thirteen."
"But during those four years there will be a hierarchy and a lot of bullying from the powerful and the nobles."
Liara looked Ryan in the eye.
"After two years, your health should be back to normal by then..."
She paused for a moment.
"Enroll in the academy."
Ryan was surprised
"Of course you will have to take the test, but I am confident that you will pass it, and this is not just to protect Ari."
"You are weak, and the academy will give you a chance to become strong, don't you want that?"
Although Ryan was upset at being called weak, his sister was right.
'Maybe joining isn't so bad, and besides, I can look after Ari.'
Ryan looked at his sister, who was waiting for his answer, then with difficulty nodded his head up and down, indicating his agreement.
His sister sighed and smiled brightly.
'She seems to care a lot about Ari now.'
Ryan couldn't speak, so he started making a sound.
"Um, um"
Liara looked at him questioningly.
"What's wrong? Does something hurt?"
Ryan looked towards the soup bowl with his eyes, pointing at it.
"Ah, I must feed you."
Liara took the bowl and began feeding him

It has been about a month and a week since Ryan woke up. He is now able to move his body and talk a little, but he gets tired after a while.
It was Mira's turn to feed him, but his sister was strange.
She wouldn't look at him directly, and even while feeding him, she would finish quickly without saying a word and leave. This was completely contrary to the personality Ryan knew so well.
But he knew why; it was because of her guilt.
The people who kidnapped him were looking for her, so today he decided to ask her about it.
He heard a knock at the door and after a few moments Mira entered with the same food, soup as usual.
Before reaching the bed, Ryan slowly sat up and slowly opened his mouth.
Upon noticing this, a smile appeared on his sister's face, but as usual, she did not look him in the eye.
Mira fed Ryan the soup, wiped his mouth, and then got up to leave.
Before she could take a single step, someone grabbed her hand.
And she heard a gruff voice behind her:
"Sit....Sit down."
