Obito's surrounding space began distorting as he was gradually pulled into the spiral vortex while he said coldly.
"You only find this world interesting because you haven't lost anything yet, so how can someone who has never experienced despair understand the cruelty of reality?"
The distortion intensified as he continued calmly, "In this world filled with meaningless hope, hope and giving up are no different and are only excuses people tell themselves."
Before completely disappearing, Obito glanced back once more and added, "I'll leave the Nine-Tails with you for now."
Renji watched him calmly being absorbed into the distorted space and replied indifferently.
"A powerless good-for-nothing who believes gaining power can change the world will still achieve nothing even after obtaining power."
Renji suddenly revealed a black wallet between two fingers and smirked slightly as he mocked.
"You can't even protect your own wallet yet you still want to change the world, so you're actually pretty good at telling jokes."
Obito's lips twitched slightly as killing intent flashed in his eye and he responded coldly, "Consider it a welcome gift."
Renji opened the wallet and examined the thick stack of banknotes inside while pretending to be surprised and teasingly said.
"Tsk tsk tsk, you must have embezzled quite a lot from the akatsuki organization, haven't you?"
Obito's body continued fading as he replied calmly, "Next time I will take the Nine-Tails and this money is yours to enjoy."
His figure vanished completely and the spatial distortion stopped.
Renji watched the empty space quietly because he understood Obito was waiting for Nagato's Rinnegan to recover before beginning the Tailed Beast capture plan.
White Zetsu slowly sank underground while grinning and said, "Interesting fellow, we'll meet again next time."
Renji watched them disappear and commented calmly, "You akatsuki people really run fast, and honestly I quite approve of your escape abilities."
Renji activated his Tenseigan and tracked Zetsu's Chakra underground before raising a finger and saying calmly, "Lightning Strike."
A pale blue current shot into the sky instantly.
Dark clouds gathered overhead as lightning coiled violently inside them before descending like a massive serpent and striking the distant ground where Zetsu had escaped.
The ground exploded into scorched black earth.
Renji shrugged slightly and muttered calmly, "Looks like I missed."
He had only been testing the Rumble-Rumble Fruit's abilities.
Being able to guide natural lightning with his own electricity was almost equivalent to repeatedly launching attacks close to Lightning Release Kirin.
Renji then took out a coin while muttering thoughtfully, "Since I already understand the principle of the Railgun, I might as well test it."
Pale blue electricity wrapped around the coin as he flicked it forward instantly.
The coin shot forward at several times the speed of sound and pierced straight through a nearby rock mountain.
The crater left behind glowed dark red with molten gold streaks caused by extreme heat.
Renji examined the destroyed rock calmly and said with satisfaction, "Not bad at all."
He then glanced at the Executioner's Blade nearby and muttered thoughtfully that the sword would make the perfect Railgun projectile because it could repair itself by absorbing blood.
Renji stretched lazily and said casually, "Since my students are training so hard, I should also work hard tonight."
He opened Obito's wallet again and smiled slightly because he planned to spend the money on big sisters properly at least once.
Two days later, early morning arrived.
Inside the tent, Renji stood before a mirror examining his reflection while stroking his chin and saying contentedly, "Hmm, still handsome today."
Naruto suddenly rushed into the tent excitedly with his hands behind his back and grinned mysteriously at Renji while saying.
"Teacher Renji, you're definitely going to be shocked later."
Renji yawned lazily and replied indifferently.
"Can you stop grinning and just tell me what you want, because seeing a man first thing in the morning really feels unlucky."
Naruto proudly took out a water balloon and injected spinning Chakra into it before the balloon burst instantly as he showed off excitedly that he had completed the second stage of Rasengan training.
Renji pretended to be surprised and replied calmly, "Wow, that's impressive, so do you want me to praise you now?"
He silently evaluated Naruto's progress because completing the second stage within two days using Shadow Clones showed very high learning speed.
Naruto became furious and pointed at Renji while complaining loudly.
"Bastard, what kind of attitude is that when we're training hard every day and you're spending money drinking with big sisters using the savings I worked so hard to keep!"
Renji raised his chin proudly and replied shamelessly, "Don't say that, because working hard with big sisters is also serious effort and hardworking men are the most handsome."
Naruto was about to explode with anger when Renji suddenly placed a hand on his head and praised him gently by saying.
"Naruto, you've done very well and in the future you might even surpass the Fourth Hokage who created Rasengan."
Naruto's anger instantly disappeared as he turned away proudly and replied, "Of course, I'm the man who will become Hokage."
Renji smiled slightly and answered casually, "That's a great dream."
Renji then walked outside the tent and said calmly, "Now let's begin the third stage."
Naruto followed him while complaining loudly, "There's still a third stage because I thought I could already beat Sasuke with Rasengan."
Renji deliberately raised his voice so Sasuke could hear and replied calmly, "Your growth speed has already surpassed Sasuke's."
Sasuke secretly listened while pretending to train.
Naruto's eyes widened as he asked excitedly, "Really?"
Renji leaned closer and whispered loudly on purpose.
"Once you master Rasengan completely, Sasuke and Sakura will still be struggling and you'll become the strongest member of Team 7."
Naruto immediately imagined himself protecting both teammates during the upcoming battle and defeating the kirikagura Demon Person dramatically.
Renji covered his mouth slightly and chuckled softly because this was exactly the reaction he wanted.
He then leaned closer again and whispered loudly enough for everyone nearby to hear.
"If you finish your training first, I'll help you sign up for the Chunin Exams, so don't tell anyone."
Naruto nodded repeatedly and replied excitedly, "Don't worry, Teacher Renji."
Renji then took out a rubber ball and demonstrated the final Rasengan training step by crushing it instantly with spinning Chakra before explaining calmly.
"Now compress and rotate your Chakra the same way and burst this rubber ball using two hundred Shadow Clones."
Naruto froze in shock and shouted nervously, "Two hundred Shadow Clones will kill me!"
Renji waved his hand casually and replied, "Relax, with me here you probably won't die."
Naruto yelled angrily, "You're not even sure yourself!"
Renji picked him up immediately and threw him toward the grass while replying casually.
"Stop talking nonsense because if you really die I'll bury you right here in the Land of Waves."
Naruto screamed loudly as he flew through the air before landing heavily on the ground.
Nearby, Sakura overheard everything and glared resentfully toward Renji while muttering angrily that Naruto was trying to steal her Chunin Exam opportunity.
She clenched her fists and struck the tree repeatedly while shouting angrily in her heart that she would definitely finish training first.
On the other side, Sasuke stared coldly at Naruto training with Shadow Clones while thinking grimly that the dead last had actually surpassed him for the first time.
His Sharingan activated instinctively as he slammed his fist into the ground and muttered angrily that the first person in Team 7 to become Chunin would definitely be him.
He raised his hand again and continued attempting Lightning Nature transformation while focusing intensely and thinking seriously about how to draw out stronger Lightning Nature Chakra.
